Nice job as usual! Always amazes me the lack of care people show their equipment.
You and me both!
I like your lift table. Mowers are not the easiest thing to work on - glad you got it fixed up. It will make someone a good little mower and the steering wheel models really hold the hills and slopes compared to the sticks.
Thanks 👍
Nice work Bob, lots wrong but it came to the hands of the right guy. 👍🏼👊🏼
That's a good way to look at it.
Yes sir 👍🏼
Hmm I don't think I have ever seen a steering wheel on one of these. Fixing the transmission seems like a big project to me. You are one talented man for sure. Thanks for the videos.
No problem keep on watching and don't forget to comment! much apppreciated.
Very nice pick up of that cab cadet after that repair it's a solid machine you got there
Very nice work, and tidy profit should be had upon the sale! What hydraulic oil did you use to replace the old oil?
$200 bucks, nice. I'm the same way, go in the house, grab something to eat and sometimes a lightbulb goes off and I'll drop what I'm eating and get back out to the garage.
Well you might break even after you figure all the fustration into it lol. Good fixes for sure testing the old skill box. Worst case if no body a cover for you Adams Small Engine in Greenwich Oh has so many used parts and very fair priced they ship to. Great video as always.
Good work on that machine. Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for watching!
I am very interested in what the parts cost and how many chargeable hours it would have cost one of your customers.
For a contrast, I just bought a 314 Wheel Horse that is identical to the 400 series machine because of the heavy Kohler. Absolutely like new with just a few scratches on the decals. The deck is a bit worn, but still serviceable as they are made of decent steel.
I have been buying them for a while and now is a low in the market because people are struggling with high fuel and food prices. Auto trans on old Wheel Horses are commercial grade hydraulic motors and are readily available in the uses parts market.
Congratulations to you on having the talent to put it all back to a functional machine. Way above my patience and ability to do so
As far as transaxle, I advise customers to buy a new one about $1000 installed. If I would rebuild for a customer, it would be $300 in parts and 5-6 hours labor. It would end up around $800 for a rebuilt one.
700 Hours is not a high hour machine. That one looks like its been road hard and put up wet. Glad to see you got it running and cutting. Good job buddy!!
Thanks 👍
a briggs 33 would have used up 2 cams by 700 hours.
Sounds good and will cut grass
Well done 👍
Yo yo where you been friend.. good to see you are on the way to getting it driving again.. yeah sometimes you just have to walk away for a while..
Took a break for a while. Nothing really interesting to film. Thanks for noticing. Talk to you soon.
Nicely done Bob
Thanks Henry.
Nice work Bob.
I just bought an old exmark and the steering is very slow to engage and whiny. There's a bunch of slop in the steering where minor adjustments on the levers don't seem to be recognized and when I push forward more it finally recognizes and jerks forward. What would cause this? Does not appear to have any leaks and fluid is at the right level. Tracking is way off as well but should be a separate issue. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks!
Nice fix dw6.
Nice fix
Hey Bob, I have been watching your videos for a few years now and enjoy them very much. I have a question that I hope you can answer, I have watched your zero turn transmission vids many times over before i attempted this chore (like the one where you sanded and honed down the surfaces of the trans center, motor and pump assemblies). Anyhow I have a Cub Cadet rtx-s with the steering wheel and I'mhaving left side trans problems ( i sanded and honed the pump and motor and center assmebly) and there was very minimal groves but sanded since I had the trans out, After reinstalling trans, and purging trans. The left side is still acting up, both sides seem very strong, but when driving the left side will kind of lock up sometimes completely and sometimes just like brakes are on it and moves slowly. This happens sometimes going in a straight line and sometimes while turning, it doesn't do on a regular bases. This can happen in 20 feet or at 100 feet with no rhyme no reason.Ihope you have an answer for me of what them problem may be, because other than that I about to remove trans again and start the process again. The only thing that I can think of is the center section and motor were had to get in and may the center section might have gotten scratched. Any way looking for advice. Thanks again Mark
Awesome video as usual!!
You're the best!
i have the same mower could you maybe tell me why my blades wont disengage?😅
Thanks for the video...what brand of lift table is that? And do you like it?
Hello from Ottawa, Canada
Handy brand I would rate it an 8-10. Does the job for me.
I have never seen one with a steering wheel like that... that is really cool. R U going to keep it??
No it's for sale as soon as I get the engine cover.
There’s barely any grass left.
Mine was rolling right along then just stopped why
Great video, but you called it a tractor lol. I have a 2003 cub cadet tractor. It looks and run like brand new.
Wow, your grass looks terrible. What is it, wintertime up there already, or is it a drought?
drought bad here.
Personally I don't like these steering wheel zero turns. It had some issues and you fixed them all. Still some good profit in it. Sell it.
I like the steering wheels because they sell for more and more people are looking for them.
it would be nice if you had a lawn to mow
It was rode hard and put up wet 😞👎
sure was!
@@doublewide6 well at least you can get it back in running condition again 👍
😮
Cool video but does not help me
Isn't that typical for a Kawasaki engine to break their engine cover? I'm sure you didn't loose money your labor is free.
You spend hours and hours getting a machine ready and right to sell, have the correct tools, and gain the needed experience. Then tell me your labor is "free."
A lawn chair fell on the engine in a shed. Not a normal problem for Kawi
Need help no one to ask
