You you have to press in via the outer bearing race! You need special tool to do this. Doing it the way shown (using the inner race) guarantees that this bearing will fail quickly. I know this from experience.
Great video and very detailed! I just got a 2005 S40 and it's going to need front wheel bearings. With that style of strut there wouldn't be a need for an alignment as there won't be any adjustments.
most parts stores have a tool you can rent or borrow that uses a threaded rod and metal cups to push the bearing out. not as easy as the press, but does the job.
Dude seriously, you did it wrong... you have to press the bearing in first then press the hub in while supporting the inner race from the back side... this is what happens when you buy chinese wheel bearings though I guess they come with the hub already pressed in for no reason at all

Best video I've found for my Volvo s40 same model
I actually cleaned the knuckel really good and then froze the hub over night in the freezer little lube on the knuckel pressed in fairly easy.
Brilliant video 👏
AWESOME VIDEO KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME
He loves his loving bumps
Нельзя давить на внутреннюю часть подшипника вставляя в кулак .......
Spôsob ako zničiť ložisko 🤣

Isn't it True..that if the Hubs start to Go Bad..Will Trigger ABS WARNING CORRECT??
+Gregory Lichtenson Yes, you may receive an ABS warning light if the hubs or ABS sensors are failing.
Why not call out the socket size as you're doing the process? How hard would that be??
