To all people who ask why a mall wasn’t added to gta v think about it it was the last big game to release on the 360 and ps3 and it was the console genrations last year before 2014 were the Xbox one and the ps4 would have released so they stuffed everything they could to make gta v run better on the 360 and ps3 so they were very limited. I believe with gta 6 we will have full advantage of the current gen consoles hardware so expect a mall then guys

I really like the addition of payphones and ashtray trashcans. I grew up in the 2000s and vividly remember seeing both in/outside every store I went to, especially at the mall, which is crazy to think how they lasted for so long but have been extinct since the 2010s. It made me nostalgic not gonna lie. But anyways, I never realized how empty the original North Point Mall was. The addition of soda/gumball machines, furniture, kiosks, and much more just bring out so much life and accuracy to the mall vibe. The other thing I liked is the ceiling. They were black in the original, I assume to have a more striking look and to make the interior stand out more. It wasn't bad and even grew on me. However, I like the more traditional and brighter appearance that the definitive edition brought. I grew up with the original Vice City but I swear, I spent hours just roaming around the mall alone. I still love the original with all my heart but I'm extremely happy with the definitive edition of all 3 games.

Probably the only good thing about the definitive edition is the improvements to the mall. Though I do still like the fake image pictures of the store fronts in the original! Also the game arcade machines added definately feels needed after looking at it. Something for all the Vice City youngster peds to play.
Not as memorable as saints row 2s mall but still a very cool place tho. I loved buying a hammer here and start whacking people I had a chance of finding.

Definitive edition was a bad remaster, but at least they put some effort into updating the North Point Mall!
i prefer the black roof, create that misterious and 80's vibe of GTA Vice City
Even though these remastered gta games have a lot of bugs and glitches, I like that there's inaccessible stores that have actual interiors.
