I just want to say thank you for posting these Vice City vids. You have no idea what this game means to me. I'm happy to see others share in a similar joy. For me, this takes me back to 2002, Thanksgiving break from school into the Christmas break from school. I was 16 years old and i would spend Fridays and Saturday nights going to the mall with friends. Then i would come home and cruise around in Vice City listening mostly to Fever 105 and a few other radio stations. I could smell Banana Bread, Chocolate Chip cookies or some sort of pie baking in the oven. And this is why this game is so important to me. My Dad passed away in 2018. He loved baking and would always bake around the holidays, he would knock on the wall from downstairs and I would pause the game, come out my room, look down the staircase and he would say "hey, you want some sweet bread!" with a huge smile... Even though this happened so long ago they are some of the strongest memories I have of him, even more so than memories created more recently just before he passed. Every sound in the game, the appearance of Vice City and overall vibe of this game always reminds me of him and this game has become my own personal time machine that I use to take me back to a time when he was still alive. I have this game and could play it, but as a 35 year old husband and father of two daughters, I find that I just don't have the time or opportunity to sit down and enjoy this game like I used to, just walking around, enjoying the sights and sounds, the details like going in the Mall and hearing the mall music. No one does that, but you do. There are plenty of Vice City vids on RUclips, but you take in the game and the way I used to. So I want to say thanks for putting videos like this out and for all your Vice City videos, it puts a huge smile on my face and allows me to sit back and time travel.
You should reupload this with the setting "trails: on". I think you can add it to PC with a mod. Trails was a graphical effect on the PS2 version that really gave the game a unique atmosphere.
You can't access many stores like the book store or any other stores the only stores you can access is Ammu Nation and the hardware store and Gash and fast food restaurants like The Well Stacked Pizza Co. and Burger Shot and Shaft Hot Dogs and Beef Bandit.
This game felt so real and vivid when I played it as a kid with my friends. We we're too foolish to understand how to play the missions so we drove around and explored every part of the map. Watching your videos explore every inch of the map makes me feel like im reliving it, thank you.
This game was just a masterpiece.
Yes,Indeed
It aged beautifully
It is beautiful how they designed each part of the mall, the attention to detail.
1:07 music to my ears
The nostalgia this evokes when you watch it for the first time in years… even the mall music and shoring sounds… holy hell
2:55 love it that they even have a sound effect for those stairs
No game ever took u back to a certain time quite like VC did. I really felt like I was in a Florida Mall in the 80s.
Yakuza 0 does a great service taking you back to 80's Japan tbh

@@glx3846 no shit sherlock
@@YüzbaşıMordi I have 6 copies of the game on different platforms. I’m a massive fan of it and play it for hours and hours during my leisure
As it says in the book
The music that plays in the mall is very catchy and soothing.

I had fever dreams over this place LMAO
The masterpiece of a video game.
Its nostalgia bro... Nostalgia.....
The mall sounds are legit
Could have gotten a Good Citizen Bonus there.
Haven't seen this mall since 2002 far out nostalgia is hitting me hard right now
this shopping mall is more nostalgic than the shopping mall next to my house
I miss very much😢 Nostalgia
THANKS FOR DONT KILL AND SHOW the scenery and song 🏆
One of the best places to visit in Vice City.
I really wonder what happened to the shops that were photographed and made into textures in this game
Where those all real shops? I allways asked myself how they did those.
@@SwissMarksman real photographs digitize for the game as textures
Most look like any clothing store during the 2000's from what I remember
@@mellamojeff458Everything from the 1980s will always look the same in the 2000s, let alone the 2020s...
Yeah looked real as hell to me
Tommy was doing these mall videos long before it became cool
