CJ teleporting out of a blocked car isn't a ""glitch"", it's a feature... the player needs to be able to exit the car at all times.

Sad to say, back when GTA SA was supposed to take place, the horrible smog in Southern California meant it often really did look 'cloudy' on sunny days, just with the yellowish hue of the original PS2 edition. 😞

Wouldn't consider teleporting outside of vehicles a bug at all. Most games in that era had the same feature to make exiting stuck situations easier.
But it's not a good thing.. go see watch dogs or sleeping dogs they did an awesome job

@@Delf6969. Depends on what you expect and define as a remaster. Many remasters are just simple upscales + minor changes. This release was more like a hybrid between a remake and a remaster. Them keeping the same animations could be for any reason, ranging from wanting to keep things relatively faithful, to not being given the resources or time by Rockstar to actually change any anims.
Would consider the fact that rockstar could have added it

Idk. A lot of old gamers are torn between Gta SA and Mafia 1 for their epicness of that time. Difference between them is that Mafia 1 Definitive Edition is actually good.

Once i drove a car in a river accidentally and i didnt want it let it go so i driving under the water with ripazha and hesoyam and saw the bubbles .. i saved the car but it didnt run no more so i had to fly it with ripazha to garage 😂
The bike one is because they added a setting called “tap to sprint” when holding down the sprint key you will sprint too instead of running/jogging. You can turn off the setting and it will be like normal though.
Honestly a cool little accessibility feature!
The long draw distance does make the map look smaller. That said, I always hated the super short draw distance of the original. Especially when flying, and suddenly something pops in right in front of you and you crash into it.

I’m sorry, did you expect CJ to break out of the car using the windshield like Chen does in Sleeping Dogs? My guy, i’m not defending this remaster, but in GTA 5 they still do the same thing and teleport out. It’s even a goddamn speedrun strat for certain missions for gods sake.
Yea I kinda did, cuz its 2021 with Unreal Engine, man. They could've tried to tweak a little bit tho if not create a new animation for kicking the windshield.

Have to keep in mind, this is a "remaster" not a "remake." Therefore, most things aren't going to change, physics-wise, it's just going to look better while doing the same thing.

Did you play the game?!? If so DE actually has some nice world improvements to make it feel more natural that the originals either don’t have or DE does better like 1)more Variations of NPC on streets, 2) vastly more textured objects in interior/exterior world 3) Gangs have more members on streets 4, new GTA 5 controls for easier missions, 5)Higher sounding radio music 6)better/more signs in world 7)3D object reflections for buildings/cars 8)more rain effects like puddles and vehicle jet stream 9)wasted/busted animations 10)actual Clouds that move with a Day/Night cycle and 11) actual Volumetric fog and lighting
If the heat effect is not in the DE, then it's not worth it for me.
That was the deal breaker for me.

@@zuokia SkyGFX is the way to go lol, along with project2DFX is a must mod for me, restoring that iconic orange atmosphere is crucial for the experience. Even to me this is deal breaker, this cold ass game is nothing compared to the ps2 version, the best one. Fortunately with mods you can port that on PC

It doesn't even have good graphics though. In fact, I'm gonna say it, the original's graphics are better, because overall things just look and feel better with way more atmosphere. A bunch of shiny surfaces doesn't equal better graphics to me when it's full of bugs, the characters look worse and it's lacking even basic weather effects etc.

The weather and the overall atmosphere of SA was the one of the best things back in the day. I used to drive around Los Santos to get the LA vibes all the time. Its a pity they couldn't recreate that. But then again, I don't know if anything would be able to do justice to it. Its the little things.
GTA V was cool af but I never spent as much time just driving/riding around the map as I did in SA. Maybe its all in my head but SA sure holds a big place in my heart.
San Andreas definitely had a very unique atmosphere. It's a combination of the weather system and that warm tone that just made it so captivating. SA will forever be my favourite game of all time.
SA has a nice atmosphere, even for a game of it's generation.
it's painful to see the remasters being so broken at the moment..there's actual improvements and the games look great, but some character models, lack of fog and the tons of bugs ruin the experience..

I noticed that in definitive edition cars don’t have their taillights on during night or bad weather. They are functioning only when you hit the breaks. Do you guys think it’s only bug and they will fix it or no ?

There's 1 comparison I would like to announce is that.
On the Original, if you hold the sprint button you can only run, but if keep tapping it u are actually sprinting (running faster) 🏃♂️
On the Definitive edition you just run by tapping it.
that's the same thing as the peddling the bike which he mentioned in the video already
I noticed the super sprint was gone when playing 😒
Now like, imagine you're in a very tall building in Miami, but overall, it's obviously realistically tall, yet you can somehow see Tampa
You can actually change the holding down w to go max speed on a bike. Just go to settings and enable tap to run. The bike will act the same and it should work like the original.

Gta 6 will be really good, because the definitive edition was made by Grove Street studios or something and the gta remastered was also made by them, so this was expected by them.

GTA SA definitive edition looks fine but I prefer the atmosphere of the old game. Yes the graphics is way worse but, there's just a vibe in the old game that makes it feel more real and relaxing compared to the remastered. Maybe it's the orange hue and fog when you go in the forest but those tiny details on the old game really makes the place more alive in my opinion, even tho the graphics is not as good

Never really saw what the issue was with the remasters. I bought it a month or so after release and it was just as enjoyable as the original. Didn't have many issues either.

Weird how people dislike the remake for being too different (especially graphically) yet, to you, people who like it are "nostalgia blind" especially coming from you, the person who prefers the original. No hate to you, but it just doesn't make sense.
There's nothing wrong with liking the og but there's no need to hate on a remaster for no reason. Id expect someone who "actually played it" to have more salient points as to why they dislike it, apart from the usual dogpile BS.
The only real issues it has are (now patched) glitches and bugs or issues the originals had, as well as having a better graphical style (imo, it's up to preference) and some well needed gameplay/QoL improvements like better aiming and controls and bring able to restart missions. It's more worth getting it on sale but Its still worth it.

I hate that the sky isnt PURPLE in the desert in DE, now it just looks dull and dry and makes the flying missions a drag. The purple sunset was so beautiful I dont understand why that had to change!
To this day, I still remember how many people including myself were trying to keep positive attitude to the Definitive Edition. However after some time, it had so many glaring flaws that we couldn't take it anymore.

People don’t realize the difference bw enhancing a game graphics and recreating the game. This version is all about enhancement with keeping the original game as it is.

I like this video I think it’s fair with the definitive edition. The truth is a majority of things in these games were kept in (except for the fog) it’s really the glitches and some weird models that are weird. But you got hand it to them. When you look past the glitches and weird models most of the physics are still there.
@@ezicarus8216 Because it's not the same Rockstar that was the highly creative and clued-in team who created SA. This was a bunch of executives who've taken over a highly popular games developer and have used an old classic title for quick and easy profit. They did it on the cheap as quickly as possible purely to cash in, nothing else. The original passion and understanding behind the game is gone and it's now just a cash cow.
The "Definitive Edition" hasn't been remastered by Rockstar... it has only republished it! The remastering was done by Grove Street Games!

In definitive edition the water ripple made by bullet are not multiple, the effect you see is single. If you shoot on the side of that ripple it disappears, make much frustration...

one details i like is that when you shoot with a sniper from very far distance, the bullet takes times to hit the target, unlike counterstrike's instantaneous hit
At 1:47 you say the heat effect is no longer present yet when it zoom in, you see it at the bottom of the screen (just over the text). It's still there, just more subtle and further away.

I really won't see the issue here aside from the price tag a tad bit too much. Then they lock us into buying all 3 together. The games undeniably look better, perform better, and are more playable with less hardware limitations. Day one bugs are a thing now. Only up from here

I prefer the original game. Remasters appear more vibrant but they don't look nice to me. They don't provide the vibe and the atmosphere that the original game does. Gta SA is set in the early 1990s, when you play the original one it feels retro and like takes you back in time to when the game was actually set.
The remastered versions seem too modern for old timelines and appear like a cheap rip off of GTA 5.

@@dipanwitamandal7289 Not sure if I'd call it technically accurate...sure, you can go down the same speed as the rain drop, but it looks crap because of how it follows you around, attached to your camera. The drop at the top of your screen is the exact same drop at the bottom of your screen a second later, regardless of if you're standing still or if you've moved across half of Los Santos in that second, if that makes sense.

This will forever be a timeless game to play. However, I have the feeling that even the smaller and coolest details were kept in this remastered version cause none of the developers even bothered checking on them, they just remade the graphics, mispelled some names and that's it lol. Sad tbh.
The OG fog was definitely added not just to make up for draw distance but also for art direction. Definitive edition sorta forgot about all that and removed it just for the sake of showing off the game's rendering.
A game should never show off tech first and consider game design second.
They could have put more effort into this, online would also be a nice little addition. Could inplement online turf wars.

In the original, when the life was fully developed, there was still 1mm of life left after the fall.

It's remaster , not remake
The very first thing is not a glitch, just a design decision. You'd have to create a whole set of complex animations for cj to get out of car in every possible sitiation.
Cars exhaust doesnt create bubbles in DE, its just the regular smoke if you see it underwater
