I am a new Christian and I have recently purchased my first ever Bible! I felt so emotional when I finally had it in my hands and I have been reading a few passages here and there (I am starting in John as I have been recommended by people) so I absolutely understand the want to keep it on you at all times, thank you for everything you are teaching!
I do have to say that as a new Christian I am finding it hard to talk to people about the Bible. I don't know if it is simply because I am yet to immerse myself completely but I am praying that I get to where I need to be to tell people the Word of God!
Hi Chloe! I remember when I received my first bible (as a gift :)) I was fortunate enough to know another Christian and would discuss some of the stories with her....I can't imagine how difficult it is to not be able to share that with anyone else....praying for you sis!

Welcome to the Family!!! I used to feel super awkward and weird when talking about the Bible or Jesus, so it's super normal for you to feel that way!!! My advice would be to do exactly what you said, immerse yourself and have a relationship with Jesus and talk about it to other believers first before trying to preach to unbelievers. I've been a Christian all my life but recently got saved in August and I to don't feel quite ready to preach... but anyway, God knows you better though, so if you're indeed ready, you will feel it in your spirit. (pro tip also if people say that God "said to them" or "spoke to me" they usually mean they felt the Lord speak to their spirit. Not like they hear voices so if you feel discouraged because you maybe havn't heard Him "speak to you", thats why.) Anyway, SO elated that the Lord has spared another soul and welcome, sister Chloe!!!

I bought my first Bible this week and I chose a study bible after watching your videos. It was how you study the Bible, that encouraged me to dive into trying to understand bible theology, understand scripture, to ultimately understand God and who I am. It's good to study a Bible that had no notes or commentary. In doing this, there is no confusion about what is in the Bible and what is interpretation of man.

I was born into a Christian family and grew up in the church. Like so many, I never really dug deep into my bible. I never really read it, just parts of it. After seeing some of your videos and other random tiktok videos, I decided to pull out my bible and just start somewhere. I opened it to Genesis and just started reading. I was amazed at how little I knew, even about the major stories. I was also amazed at the desire I had to keep reading. Now, I feel like a fire has been lit inside of me. I can feel it changing me for the better and I don't want to stop. My prayer is that others, believers and non believers, will find that same desire I had to read His word and their eyes will be opened to this same passion to know Him more. Thanks for planting a seed in me.
Genesis is my favorite book in the Bible. I read it every year, and I always learn new things! Just recently I realized that God clothing Adam and Eve in animal skins meant He sacrificed an animal to do that after they sinned. So he sacrificed an animal for their sins, and that moment points towards Jesus's ultimate sacrifice for our sins. Maybe that is obvious to some ppl, but it literally hit me recently and completely blew my mind! And I swear every time I read Genesis I learn more and more and gain a deeper understanding of God. ❤

I went and read the comments. I was so sad. There were a few comment of genuine interest after being directed there on ‘accident’. Jesus would have come for only one ❤ Sitting here thinking how them being mean to you has me in tears and the reality of the awful price Jesus had to save people who were much worse to him. I will pray for them and for you. Thank you for doing what you do. ❤

Hi Faith. You are doing a good job and you know you will be mocked and persecuted as a Christian. I have been getting many mean spirited evil comments on mine over this past year. I've had just today someone say Jesus didn't die for me because of my skin color and nationality. I've been made fun of with the way I look. I've see so much hatred and evil, yet I turn around and share the gospel with them with truth in love.
Keep up the good work and I feel like God has probably grown up your tough skin in him because I can truly say that about myself. Love your channel and podcast and I admire your heart and love for God.

Why does this god who never showed himself demand us to live by a Bible that men wrote ?
@@Justin-cs2nu god doesn’t demand we live by it, he gives us free will to choose whether or not we want to follow him bc he loves us unconditionally. As you read the Bible you can actually see time and time again how he fights for us and our salvation and is always redeeming his people. It’s also the most accurate history book out there and worth diving into more.
@@sarahjane6015 I wouldn’t call it free will if the other choice besides him is burning in hell forever being tormented. Doesn’t sound like there is a choice to me. So he can do cool stuff in the book that men wrote but when we really needed him like the world wars or the Black Plague which killed what 20% of europes population he was no where to be found. He sent his son to the cross to bear the weight of our sons so that we wouldn’t all burn in hell. So that we could be forgiven and be with him in heaven. You can’t just put blame on God for all the bad things that happen in this world without acknowledging the good in it
I am in, with your burden for revival and preaching the gospel to the nations. I am teaching adults in a tiny storefront Baptist church. I am 68. My 41-year-old son became an atheist some time after his older brother's untimely death. (Younger brother was 10. His youth program was definitely lacking.) Praying for my son's salvation, and knowing I need to feed myself God's word so I can feed others has turned me into a bible nerd. Anyway, that is so cool that God warned you about what could happen with a Tik Tok video, so that you were prepared, and you could read the comments from a more detached cultural research point of view.

I happened upon your channel just before Christmas. You got me so excited because of the way you mark in your Bible and the excitement in your voice when you talk about reading your Bible. I am 70 years old and had been brought up in a time when you didn’t dare write in yourBible. I have written in mine for about10 years now but just a few notes here and there. When I saw your Bible, something really broke lose in me. I cannot wait to get into my Bible each day. I mark like crazy now. The more I mark, the more I want to mark, read and learn. I am going a chapter at a time and taking several days on each one marking, putting in sticky notes, going through diff study Bibles and resources. I have never felt such joyous and free while reading the Bible. Thank you!

I love you Faith.. ever since I started following you (about 2 or 3 months ago) I've been in the Scriptures more and more. I'm so grateful for your videos and how you're showing us how we can engage in God's Word in a non-legalistic way.. This ex-charismatic thanks you for your ministry 😊 but also know that since I've started following you I've been keeping you, Pastor Joseph and the boys in prayer. We are strangers and yet I love you.. I can only say that's the love of God that compels me to love you and pray for you.
Also, I'm so in awe of how you took those comments as a , "Lord, what are you teaching me through these comments?". It's eye opening to see how you've responded, so thanks for taking us on this journey with you. Today I have learned something new. Funny enough reading the Bible for me has been like taking the red pill on the matrix.... what I mean by that is I can see the need for Jesus because I am selfish, hypothetical, greedy, ugly to the core of my very being. I see it in human history and in myself the need for a Savior. That is reality.

I’m in, I had someone say that my studying the Bible was very weird, but I feel so much better when I’m in the word.
I went through a very difficult time in my life a few years ago, the sudden death of my husband of 22 years. I was laying on the couch because I could not bring my self to lay in our bed alone. I cried until I physically couldn’t cry any more, I prayed until I couldn’t pray any more. I lay there with what felt like an elephant on my chest and my heart might burst. I said, “Jesus” “Jesus”. I felt in my spirit like someone said, “sing”. I’m like, sing? I ain’t singing, I don’t want to sing, what would I sing? I am a worship leader and I know all different kinds of songs, what came on my heart was the hymnal, ‘Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, just to take Him at His word, just to rest upon His promise, just to know, “thus sayeth the Lord.” Jesus Jesus how I trust Him, How I’ve proved Him ore and ore Jesus Jesus precious Jesus, O for Grace to trust Him more.
Immediately after I sang much of the song, Scripture began to flood my mind.
For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. John 1:16, For in it is revealed God's righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, "But the righteous shall live by faith." In hope he believed against hope, that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been told, “So shall your offspring be.” Romans 4:18
I went straight to the Word of God. Which was my comfort, my guide, and I began to study out these scriptures throughout their context. I prayed these scriptures and received instruction for my life. I didn’t get a road map or I wasn’t told why? This was happening to me and my kids. But to trust, walk in faith one step, faith, another step, faith. Hope against hope. Strength to strength. All my help comes from the Lord. His Word is life, Worshiping Him is key to getting my mind off of myself and onto a God who never fails. His ways are higher than my ways. Will I ever understand why? 🤷♀️ I’ve determined to trust Him without knowing the why, it is enough to know that He has me, He keeps me, He loves me. AND YOU! The word of God is awesome and along with prayer and worship, one of the most important things in the life of a believer.

Hi Faith, just an encouragement from Australia. Keep on encouraging people into the Word of God. Funny, I was preaching at my church recently from Nehemiah 8-9 about the importance of the Scriptures, and how God brings revival in us. If we want revival in the world, it starts with us getting into the Scriptures and delighting in the God who reveals himself there and his plan of salvation. I also love the sovereign grace song, 'Your Words are wonderful'. It has been my anthem of late.

Hi, Faith... two things that came to mind during your video. When you spoke about Disneyland Adult, I thought about how Jesus said we should have childlike faith. And this happening to you, I definitely call it a blessing. Jesus said we would be persecuted b/c of him. This shows how much what you are doing is really touching people's lives.
I wonder how many of the people who commented. when they are in a bind or going through a trial, are going to remember you and your video and really wonder if having Jesus in their life could really be a positive thing.
These past years, I've seen some incredible young people doing amazing things for Jesus and they have been attacked in unimaginable ways. I hope you don't stop doing what you do b/c I think you're very inspiring. Every time I see your video, I do want to read my Bible. 😀😀😀

You said "I can spend all day going on and about Bible pens or a Bible journal or Bible bag or whatever, but what they need to hear is the value in Jesus Christ as a savior." I love that. It's not that there's anything wrong with all the tools and classes and music and etc. that we can use to encourage and support ourselves and others as believers. It is great that we have those, and we should be sharing them with each other! But we can never, ever forget the WHY, or let the why take a back seat. I don't think you do, and I really appreciate that, because I know it can be a struggle in the midst of getting all the things done.

It is so refreshing seeing a pastor's wife so passionate about Christians learning the Bible. Because that IS the now issue in the American Christian church. The body does NOT know the word. I see the church around me being led astray in so many different ways, especially being tempted into politics..which is very worldly (both sides not just one)....if Christians were earnestly in The Word they would have eyes to see and ears to hear. And if they were involved in a political party they would stand up for truth in that party. Not just be silenced in tribalism. Blessings to you, stand firm woman of God ❤️

At the beginning of this year I decided to read my Bible over the course of 2022. I just finished the book of Luke this morning & can honestly say that committing to this reading plan has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
I look forward to it every morning, & starting my day in the word gives me peace & direction. I’m looking forward to more in depth study in 2023. There is so so much to dive into! 🙏🏼❤️

Omgshhh Faith The comment that got me "it can't be that interesting the other how many stories....." helloooo we know 11.or 12 of the most said but there are si many if actually it would be studied in depth. Wow, there is so much and from those hidden stories is where we can also apply and learn.
Actually, some of those comments as well shows how they think and how can we approach them. 🤔.
