On that note of people not killing enemies inside the circle for Netracells, even though it is absolutely the players' faults for being mindless, I think DE could and should design around players' being that way. The same way Synthesis Targets will have Cephalon Simaris complain to the Tenno when killed instead of captured, Loid should complain to Tenno when they kill enemies outside the range of the Netracell. Unironically he should be annoying to them so they stop what they are doing. I'd also like to mention two notes on Netracells: 1 being that you can actually kill enemies a little outside the range of the Netracell itself, just pay attention to the purple energy lines coming from the enemies to know if it was in range when killed; and 2 being that you can skip all the ciphers to narrow down where the Netracell is and just head right to it if you only head for the objective markers are only on your map and not in the game world itself. You can easily get < 8 minute runs with little effort doing this as long as you can solo the mission, but even if you can't solo you can still speed up the process of getting the Netracell in pubs by doing this.
The way my thought process evolved as I got better at warframe was: "I'm not gonna worry about using abilities cause I'll never have energy to use them reliably" to "I cannot go five seconds without pressing abilities". Took me a long time to learn that using all the tools at my disposal is an objectively better strategy. I'm still not all there yet. Too lazy to prime enemies. Steel path was a nightmare for me until I decided to bite the bullet and learn game mechanics. Now it's an absolute breeze. I actually like to play on steel path more than regular star chart in just about any occasion.
I actually had the exact same thoughts as this person.Thinking that "if only I had primed mods, the game would be so much easier". Then I got a few, put them on my crappy old builds and got no results. They're just there for better quality of life or a slight increase in damage or consistency. They don't do anything if your build already sucks. I learned from my mistakes so I hope they will too.
Ugh, the trinity there at 28:00 hits me hard-- I WAS THAT TRINITY. I was the support, I was making sure the ember and rhino could continue their dps and buffs, and making sure my team stayed alive. God forbid someone didn't bring trinity to any match before harrow existed.
Great video man! I'm running though 3 friends new / returning to warframe and one of the struggles has been teaching them how important synergy is. Also Your comment about netracells hit home so hard, a guy from my discord saw me playing warframe and got excited and joined me because he plays too, he's mr22, 2200 hours, hadn't unlocked steel path, plays only wukong and couldn't stand in the netracell circle. I couldn't believe it. his wukong build was vitality, steel fiber, redirection, armored agility, continuity, stretch, intensify and streamline. Melee was all damage, and primary/secondary, un-modded leveling fodder. Anyway, he gets angery at the game being hard a lot.
It upsets me because people think I'm being mean when I call them "braindead" but it's like, how else do you do the sort of things that those people do unless you are actually just turning your brain off entirely when you play? Like, I know what it's like to turn my brain off and mess around, but I do that shit when I'm strip mining for diamonds in minecraft, not when I'm playing warframe like pls. 💀
When I was doing my build for Valkyr, which took months to complete due to certain mods, archons and kullervo, I realized that making a functional frame requires a combination of factors. What's the point of a fast car if the person spins in the first corner... And yes, I express that anger that you said in public netracell sessions, and nowadays I do it alone or with friends. Good video man.
I was one of those guys that though steel path was impossible for me, because I couldn't clear the first steel path interception node even with Khora, that is made for that mode. But then I analyzed my game, and realize that my domes were small and didn''t conver the whole transmission tower area and I always tried to kill all the enemies when I just needed to capture the towers, so tying them is good enough. So, my problems were solved adding a few more range mods to my build and then used more my abilities when I was playing. That was all.
Primed mods are just the Cherry on top a feel crafted and tested build. Unpopular opinion archon shards too. Shards got us new ways to build and play. And i love playing around with them. But they are no must have for your first SP build.
Being a returning veteran, MR27 (Close to 28), with 2346 hours of game, I can safely say that I'm doing Elite Deep Archimedea All Challenges without any headache every week and I'm the type that can't be bothered to Forma everything I have. Primed mods aren't worth the investment, unless you're willing to sell them for a profit to people that think they are :p
Way back in the day, I used to unironically use cloak arrow for solo cascade level cap, and found that far more comfortable than any roar build. That, and it’s also super fun to make unique builds with lesser used subsumes. I personally use sentient wrath now on my mag since her one weakness is dealing with overguard, and the damage vulnerability from the ability works on that while still being a good “oh shit” cc ability.
this guy in the thread put so many conditions to the point where he is just proving that steel path can easily be done with any of the strategies he listed, which were so many it begs the question as to why even post that i the first place given how many of those things are easily accessible and perfectly useable. and also fun fact: newer players WILL rely on a certain strategy to carry them through a piece of content in order to then become more powerful from it because it works and is easily accessible, ruling it out makes the situation even less realistic lol
The point he was trying to make was that you can't run into a mission with no strategy when you're starting out steel path, you can't just mindlessly unga bunga your way through the game and you need to actually be able to make a cohesive build. In his mind, the solution to that is primed mods, because of the sheer power creep we have in the game, being able to rely on brute force is something you can do, but his problem is that the brute force isn't accessible 24/7 and is time gated by baro, which...i don't even know where or how to begin dissecting the loads of things that are wrong with that tbh. It's just a player with a severe skill issue complaining about not being able to mindlessly cheese missions with power creep
@@nev546 yeah no i was making another point saying that the post had no sense to even exist. but yeah no i completely agree. people like to have things handed to them i videogames nowadays, like for example i do believe that warframe's early game experience doesnt explain you a lot and should be revamped, but i don't believe that people don't know where to go. like i've heard people not knowing what to do after finishing vor's prize and i'm like my brother in christ there is an entire solar system why don't you explore it? same thing goes for anything in this game that requires thinking, people just dont want to have fun it seems because builds in this game have become so bonkers you can do pretty much everything, yet people want to use the same things they have always used and refuse to experiment.

"i didnt kill anything with my melee" proceeds to annihilate like 10 enemies with a single slam, i wasn't expecting that tbh and yes i know that the mods wouldn't have impacted that result but i was kinda shocked to see a bunch of enemies being evaporated with the furax
Actually the funny thing about that is the enemies died because of a nearby explosive barrel, which was triggered by the slam attack detonating the gloves on the goul enemy. The mission actually ended with 0 melee kills despite the furax seeming to have magically nuked a bunch of enemies 🤣

Coming here after seeing nova's build video is a massive clash with that one. Idk, maybe i'm completly off, but after seeing both vids... this feels like you need to watch that video too. the autor of that post is pretty bad at making his point, but i still managed to figure it out. Some piece of gear just genuinly need those mods to work in some loadout. Quick like that, a frame who's going all cc will need something to push their weapon into killing territory, and their shards/companion mods might not allow to carry that void. Like, idk, if you need to work around the absence of something, maybe that thing could be considered MANDATORY. "something teshin yapp about constantly, mastery of the tenno arsenal" bro, i think that include knowing some guns just need those mods to work on their own. like, "do you need to press that ability right this moment?" isn't something someone with actual knowledge of the arsenal would say. considering gating builds are a thing and need to be ready to cast "right this moment", so primed flow is raw safety, a buffing frame will want to make sure the buffs will stay on to not be constantly juggling casting and attacking. so yeah, that almost double bonus that P continuity gives is a must. Hell, with dante's long ass buffing time, the last thig i want is to have to do it more often OR run out of juice on a frame that is made to constantly cast
Im only mr 17 but in my experience archon shards are usually quite insignificant.a slight increase in ability strength or duration or whatever. Theyre like prime mods that they do make u more powerful, but they definitely arent mandatory
Archon Shards are kinda like supplementing an additional mod slot, but that mod slot is broken into 5 parts. It's another layer of power creep that makes more things possible in much easier ways, and CAN be used to break the game, but they're far from mandatory and the best shards are often the ones for comfort/QoL like casting speed or parkour speed.
Come on dude, not all players can do the hacking minigame or know where the arsenal is, please do an unmodded build with basic Warframes and mk-I weapons, that can reach level cap survival without knowing how to hack to start the mission!
I can understand the complaining about modding, because there's a lot of restrictions on knowledge for new players depending on what content can farm what mods. But, PRIMED mods is the issue? I'd rather say that mods exclusive to C survival or one of those longer brain numbing content, with ~5% droprate are a worse issue tbh. But you just put in your ~7 hours, and you should get it. I haven't done them in forever, so idk if it's changed. But you know what I mean.
I do know what you mean, and thankfully farming rotC stuff isn't as bad as all that anymore, we have a lot of speed methods for most things nowadays, and the things that don't have speed farms are honestly chill enough that it's ok anyways. I'd say the last remaining owie for rotC farms are the deimos iso vaults, sporo and arum spinosa farming is pure agony 💀
While I enjoy you lowering yourself and wasting your time putting these fools in their place, remember that you are a king, my liege. Us real ones know that Primed mods are very situational. If my previous comment on the previous video wasn't clear enough, let me double-down real quick.... There is almost always no room for a Primed mod in most hybrid weapon builds and min-max Warframe builds. If he said Galv mods, he'd have more of an argument.
@@nev546 ya, going through all of my builds, other than a select few that actually need like max range, I use Narrow Minded over Primed Continuity, Some even benefit more from Narrow Minded while balancing out the range with Overextended and the other range mods because of how huge the Narrow Minded duration increase is.

Qued for a random profit taker, seen another join. We start flying, Volt prime lands before me ( I'm slow rofl) he killed it in a few seconds. We reque, i made like 30 million that evening. Thanks random OP Volt, if your are watching i wasn't annoyed at all.
As a mag main: mags doesn't even need a weapon for steel path.
Limbo doesn't even need mods equipped to do base steel path
The guy that wrote that post is just high on copium
Isn't rift torrent basically a requirement because of the damage bonus?
@@clocked0 rigt torrent is great but for base steel path you dont need it
On that note of people not killing enemies inside the circle for Netracells, even though it is absolutely the players' faults for being mindless, I think DE could and should design around players' being that way.
This has to be the honest to god, best video I've seen about mods.
I also love the sass towards the OP and the current playerbase xd
Good video man.
the shotgun noise blasts my ears off when youre suddenly not talking lmao
But they are no must have for your first SP build.
its as if some people don't know that trading exists
Cloak arrow enjoyer spotted, fuck yea
Watch them say; “but you’re using mag so it doesnt count 🤓“
true, its really hard to get Mag, especially if a new player!
Didn’t know about the mag Garuda combo that’s crazy
this guy in the thread put so many conditions to the point where he is just proving that steel path can easily be done with any of the strategies he listed, which were so many it begs the question as to why even post that i the first place given how many of those things are easily accessible and perfectly useable.
and also fun fact: newer players WILL rely on a certain strategy to carry them through a piece of content in order to then become more powerful from it because it works and is easily accessible, ruling it out makes the situation even less realistic lol
How does he talk so fast sometimes, truly on another level

GOD I LOVE PRIME MODS ! I LOVE TO USE THEM IN EVERY SLOT POSSIBLE TO MAX MY EFFICINCY(put your going mad Spongebob meme pic in here)
complaining about needing build investment for endgame content is already goofy behaviour but when youre talking about warframe where you can level cap with a reactorless mag it becomes peak silly billy
I think you only had to link him that 1 mod volt levelcap he might go and complain about galv mods, shards etcetc 🥴 you can never satisfy these people
you know what's funny is somebody else already did which was how I was even informed of the post to begin with, he just ignored it so blatantly 🤣🤣
Hey! It's Keesie!
Missed the ayatan sculpture at 5:26 , so clearly your video argumentation is now invalidated. Although non-primed animal instinct consistently showed it on the map, which makes the argument valid once again.
Holy shit I did what the hell
People complaining about not having primed mods is crazy. Theres no need to rush to get powerful.you'll get burned out quick
>uses leveled up mods, too expensive for players
>uses abilities to supplement bad modding
>uses guns beyond MR3, too impractical to grind
>uses movement, too hard to expect players to use
>uses primed warframes, supplementing in pay to win frames to compensate for not using primed mods
terrible argument. come back when you level cap every node with excal and mk-1 braton with no mods without pressing buttons and not breathing like a real new player
Vay Hek approves this message
Bring rhino and you can level cap modless
WHY ARE THESE TENNO MAGGOTS STILL BREATHING MY AIRRRRR
28:00 me with normal trinity with three rhino primes back when I first played.
Man i love trinity a lot but the duration of her abilities are too low and you can't recast them, pretty strong tho
What is blud yapping about 😭🙏 heat inherit solos tho
But- but shiny color. Prettyyyy color. And big number!!!
Where is your primed sure footed bro?
This reminds me of how i discovered one of my favorite melees
I discovered the Pulmonars are REALLY GOOD and have innate viral, all cause i gave them a chance
I never play the meta, just what i like
Unfortunate that this needs to be explained a decade later......😮💨
I can do Steel Path without trouble and I don't even have my base mods fully leveled xD
you can go to level cap with out even beeing close to maxing
Next they start complaining about too many mods, then it is time to pull out zephyr with target fixation only
wait.. you can put element icons on the building slots??
yep! the full list of icons (and their typing format) is listed here warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Text_Icons
wouldve been really funny if you switched primed flow and primed continuity for archon flow and archon continuity, ngl
I for the life of me can't figure out how you resurrected around 8:50. I could see that you were using lockdown but it looked like you resurrected without anything actually dying.
sentinels with the Sacrifice mod equipped!
@@nev546 Ohhh I see. Thank you!
Erm, excuse me Mr video game player, but you didn't complete a mission while gobbling your own sack from the back. Doesn't count.
from the back is wild
the only primed mod i wanted and “needed” was primed flow lol i personally think 60/60 mods are wayyy better
I put extra forma on my builds to use unnecessary prime, archon, riven, galvanised, and amalgam mods because they look better. Stretch? nahh, Archon Stretch, I might play with a wisp... I need the energy.... my build is completely self sufficient, but I swear I need the energy....
that's so valid lmfao
Did he miss the part in the last video of the battacor deleting acolytes..?
guess so 🤣
Primed mods are mandatory but becomes pretty fucking handy when you are at endgame
I was playing just fine without them, I only use them now because I enjoy having them. Hell if I wanted to I could play modless.
@@ByteBitson take wisp put her motes down, mod out a cyber hound with bond mods and fully upgraded weapon, get out your specters and crew member. Just sit back and watch.

As someone who regularly sells maxed mods including prime mods yeah prime and galvanized mods are overkill lmao, I’ve gone to lvl cap with hate without any maxed mods. Or rather any mods that take an excessive endo to max (like bloodrush, primed pressure point, etc)
Wait is the Blood Altar Mag interaction fixed? I remember trying to use it a few weeks ago but whenever i used magnetize on the BA target the bubble would be invisible and it didnt attract bullets to the center like it was supposed to. There was also a forum post about it i think.
You have to cast the bubble first! it's currently bugged right now, so bubble --> garuda BA
Hello i really love your color schemes on Mag do you mind telling me what colors did you use thank you and great video (Sorry if my English is bad it's not my first language)
I have fuck all prime mods being used in any of my builds rn, long story short: I just can't be asked to farm Endo like that.
Never felt the need to use prime mods in SP.
It really just boils down to QOL and min maxing with primed mods imo.
If your builds and loadout are ass then no prime mod is gonna help you lol

Thank you for hammering the point that you absolutely SHOULD interact with trade chat.
I keep telling people that it's an important thing to use because plat is just too useful of a resource and trade chat prevents warframe from being objectively pay-2-win.

Hell, with dante's long ass buffing time, the last thig i want is to have to do it more often OR run out of juice on a frame that is made to constantly cast
i mean, just grab kullervo and any melee with slash proc on heavy attack, dont mod it and he can do level cap. not well but he can
Been watching WF shit for years. Who TF is OP
Edit: Nvm. Did not see the intro. Lol. But please DE. Give us more Primed Mods. 🤗
So i'm still pretty new (MR 7, just cleared TNW) How important are good archon crystals? I can't use them yet but im working on rep
@@nev546 alright that makes sense, I still don't even have steel path so definitely don't need but I'll still do my weeklies for when I do

baro ki'teer will bring some occasionally when he visits the relays, and some are obtainable as daily login rewards at certain milestones

Do you even need mods for endgame? Lol
Gib mesa lvl cap build god bless you
Come on dude, not all players can do the hacking minigame or know where the arsenal is, please do an unmodded build with basic Warframes and mk-I weapons, that can reach level cap survival without knowing how to hack to start the mission!
makes me think of the quasar challenge to complete a 1hr survival with only 100 kills solo 💀

If he said Galv mods, he'd have more of an argument.
honestly, that's fr.
Corrupted mods are also better than Primed mods
@@nev546 ya, going through all of my builds, other than a select few that actually need like max range, I use Narrow Minded over Primed Continuity, Some even benefit more from Narrow Minded while balancing out the range with Overextended and the other range mods because of how huge the Narrow Minded duration increase is.
