For 10, the AI refuses to move like against you
Shoutout to NinaAssassin333 for the workaround. He found out a way to do Challenge 10 correctly.
No matter how many times on try on challenge 10 the AI keeps moving a different piece than the video

Challenge 10 is the only challenge where pieces don't move the same, don't bother with this one, keep farming challenge 9

I know I'm SUUUUUUUUPER late but there's actually a video on RUclips on how to beat the final challenge. But it'll be hard to find if you're not on the Japanese version of RUclips. I've completed all of the challenges because of it but I do find that doing challenge 4 is better for farming than any other challenge. The final challenge gives you a maximum of 2250 points but there's a 15 second interval between each move for a minimum of 34 moves in total. I won't do the math for you but yeah it takes a little over 6 minutes to finish the final challenge so it's not even really worth farming unless you are SUPER patient or don't have enough currency to keep farming on Challenge 4 since it yields lower points but you can finish it within seconds.

In challenge 10 the moves for the AI are random. It did not follow your sequence at all. I'll keep trying, hopefully I'll get lucky
They're not random. I did all of them and got exactly the same. It's scripted so you must be playing Shogi on a different Yakuza game.
@@Saucysaucevibe Nah I've had several of the challenges where the pc moves inna different way shown, he even says in the video that the movements aren't consistent always and you may need to reset. I keep getting them moving their second pawn forward instead of gold gen back after my first challenge 10 move

The A.I. never ever ever plays that first move on challenge 10. How the hell does it move where it does with you? 30/30 times now it always brings its 2nd left pawn forward. It never pulls back its gold general like it does with you. So annoying. And it's a fucked up challenge with 2 knights 2 lances 2 gold generals 2 silver generals down. That means starting with 8 major pieces down. Bullshit! Fucking bullshit!

The challenges change in the steam version? I am looking at this video while playing shogi and the challenges i get are different.
challenge 5 doesn't work. At move 13 the AI acts differently by moving a different piece towards the center of the board rather than towards the left.
Nevermind, it took 11 tries for the AI to behave as it did in the video. weird since 1-4 acted exactly the same on my first try.

Fantastic walkthrough video! Can you make challenge walkthrough videos on mahjong? After reading your GameFAQs guide, I still don't understand how to play mahjong.
Read the in-game rules. LEARN the hands and discard the 2-3 winds cards that aren't your seat wind or round wind. I never knew mahjong either but got addicted to it and got rank 1 with no stress

Unfortunately this guide isnt up to date. It works until Ch. 5 but then it moves differently :(

It appears the AI has been modified, at least on PC. This worked for the first two challenges, but after that the AI made different moves. Your Majima guide on gamefaqs is also no longer working on the PC version.
