This is excellent. Too many people focus on complicated farms that focus on drops/hour when I was just trying to figure out how to get enough prismarine to make my conduit work without having to take on the big fish.
I was thinking about seeing if I could plunk down some soul sand to toss them onto some above-water hoppers, but I wasn't up for trying it yet.
My latest world literally has a suspended iron farm made out of dirt.

YAY! I've been wanting this type of solution for getting prismarine & sea lanterns. Love your Dirt Cheap series. And thank you for the affirming reassuring messages! Hearing them helps.
Fun thing to slightly potentially increase rates a small bit once you get drops going is Guardians' coding has them attracted to sea lanterns, craft a few and place them near the corner sections to get a few more of those outliers swimming in.
Also by adding this farm into your building resumé, while prismarine items have not been technically excluded from your dirt cheap requirements, they do get invited into the list for when someone wants to pretty up a future farm now :P

Awesome little build. MiniHUD’s spheres are such a useful tool for farm design.
I was checking out some of your other vids and I have a suggestion for a netherless build. You know how observer sheep and bee farms often have a hopper minecart? Same for a properly-made sugar and bamboo farm. What about using detector rails to power the farm off of the movement of the minecart? I'm willing to share some worlds where I was trying to make an everything needing redstone farm that way, but I gave up and put a chicken-comparator in instead. (This was also before I figured out that all you need for a lot of redstone is to stick a brewing stand and a smithing table in an iron farm.)
I made a dumbed down version of ianxofour’s guardian farm without portals, just to collect items, but this beats it by far in terms of build time & not needing soul sand or bamboo

What version did Guardians start taking damage from magma blocks? I swear they didn’t back in 1.14/1.15
This is going to be the third guardian farm im attempting, hoping this one works, but I see you are on Java, does this work on bedrock? I don't wanna build another one and waste another monument if it doesnt work on Bedrock

@@Stromne i think he was referring to something dirt cheap, the farms you listed dont fit the dirt cheap conditions of your series
Thoughts on combining this with an ink sac farm by throwing a few allays and a noisy noteblock on that platform?
