I've designed this Crochet Along to be SUPER relaxed and fun - you can pick and mix the squares to suit your own personal taste! Designed to be a bright chunky blanket, ideal for the summer - chuck it in your bag and take it to the park, camping, festivals or even your own back yard!

Do you have a left handed version of this video? If you are left handed, you can convert ANY video on RUclips yourself! Simply go to www.mirrorthevideo.com/ and follow the instructions to mirror flip any video to convert to left handed!
How much yarn will I need? This is a very tricky question to answer as there are so many variables! How much yarn you need will depend on which yarn you choose, the thickness of that yarn, your tension and how large you want your finished project to be. I suggest making a small sample first so you can gauge how much yarn you'll need. If making a crochet square, you can weigh your finished square to work out how much yarn it used!
How many squares do I need for a blanket? That all depends on the size of the square you are making and how big you want your finished blanket to be! I always advise making one square first then measuring the size of it. From there you can work out how many squares you will need to get the blanket size you want 😀
Do you have the written pattern? Yes! I have written patterns to accompany my video tutorials on my website here: www.hookedbyrobin.com The written pattern is generally released a week or so after the video tutorial to ensure there are no errors in the video itself and to make amendments in the written version if any are found. All the written patterns are FREE to access on my website
How can I print the pattern from your website? Do you have downloadable PDF's? Not at this time no. This may change in the future but for now, I only provide the written pattern directly on my website.

Okay; so many of you are referencing the 90s with this blanket. Let me show my age by saying that when I first saw the thumbnail, my mind immediately went back to the 60s. Everything old is new again.
Funnily enough, the 90s was super 60s / 70s inspired and now it seems the 2020s are inspired by the 90s! What goes around always comes back again! ☮️🌼

I have never been more excited about a project! Ordering yarn and waiting patiently for the join as you go video so I can make this blanket exactly the same as yours. I've never seen something and so quickly said "I have to make that!!!!!"

Well I started my rainbow squares. The problem is on the corners iam 3 DC 3chain 3 DC gal and this pattern call for 2 half DC two DC 2 half DC on the last round. We'll one of the corners got three DC instead of 2half DC. That's ok because can use this square for a coffee cozy.
I think I can use my big square that I changed 3 in the corner and use it as the end square. Got four rainbow 🌈 squares done. Can't wait to work the daisy flower.

I have to say though, the blanket reminds me of the 60s\70s.
My original vision was a 90s rave blanket but I figured happy hardcore house music was probably a bit too niche for most hence it evolved to be a bit more laid back flower power 😂😂😂

It would be lovely in the Paintbox Chunky, I'm a big fan of their yarn! The only reason I didn't use them was back before Christmas when I was starting to make this blanket, they seemed to have lots of supply issues with colours going out of stock - nice to see they have nearly all of the colours back again!
