I just LOVE your videos and voice and accent! You are an amazing teacher. Thank you for your contribution to the crochet community!
I thank you very much for this video. You explain very well and so after many years I'm able to create this adorable blanket. I love when you smile while you're explaining.
Thank you for your beautiful words. This blanket is one of my favourite blankets to make 😁
Yes, most definitely a big "Thank You" to Fiber Spider. I used his tutorial to make a kaleidoscope granny blanket for a gorgeous baby blanket. He made it so easy. I just love your voice. It is so pleasant to hear and you make it so easy to follow along. I love those colors that you chose for this Afghan. The pastels remind me of Easter. I do so love watching your videos.
Fiberspider is amazing and thank you for your kind words :D
Thanks for a beautiful easy blanket to make. Just love your sense of humour.
I am working on it now! I usually do just simple blankets so this is a big deal for me. Ive rewinded many times. Thank you on the well explained video
This has been on my bucket list to make. I need a serious stash busting project. I'm going pick out my yarn and get started this week on it.
Fabulous. I hope you enjoy making it as much as I did?
Happy crocheting to you 😁
thank you so much, first time crocheting anf following you as you go.. im so excited can't wait to see what it looks like when im done
I have been crocheting since my early teens. I am now in my late sixties. I still love to crochet. Well, I Learned something new today from you. I have always been good at counting stitches. You advised putting a stitch marker in the first ch 3 dc. Not only did I find my stitch, but like you I crochet tight. It helped me enlarge that first chain to be able to stick my needle in where I wanted it. Thanks so much!!!
Rob
This is a beautiful blanket with the perfect name. I absolutely love it

Thank you. This is my favourite blanket to make :D
Beautiful ❣
Thank you dear 😊
Thank you very much for this easy-to-follow tutorial. Esp. Thank you for the tip for the stitch marker in the chain 3 stitch, I use it to mark the first stitch on all my crochet pieces now. I just wish I had the written instructions also, instead I stop and rewind often.
The written instructions to this pattern is coming at the end of November. They will be on our website. I will leave a link of the written instructions here and in the description box of this video once it is complete
I love this blanket.. it's just stunning.. I made three of them so far..

Love me a Bendigo yarn. 😊
Thank you. You are so a lovely lady thank you from canada
You got my name
Welcome 😊
I am really enjoying crocheting this blanket. I was wondering if it is possible to add two lots of corners on to this blanket please
I use impeccable yarn. how many skeins of each color do i need for a big kaleidoscope? (using 5 colors)
want to show my finished blanket. thank you for this tutorial
You're welcome. Sorry about the late response. I've been unwell. Also you can share your work on Instagram and hashtag Wow Crochet Designs (make it all one word)
Cheers
Tried challenge myself to keep up with Mary! 🥵🥴😵 I think I need a nap now! 🤣
Can you post in the description box how much yardage for each color? Thanks this is on my list.
Great tutorial! I’ve found that chaining one in between the clusters isn’t necessary. It makes the blanket less “holie” and gives it a tighter look.
So long as it doesn't turn up or curve in it could work 😉
@@WowCrochet I have never had that issue
I never join to the top of the chain 3 (where you put the stitch marker), I join to the next one because I find there is always a big gap. (but it is personal preference). It does actually really look neater!!
Good evening Mary x
Hey there :D
@@WowCrochet had a strange day x
I’m only blue and red for the Newcastle knights colours I’m from Gateshead NSW Australia
Hello NSW from Melbourne 🫠😊
Can someone help me with how I would adjust this pattern to make a twin size crochet blanket??? ....so it would need to be more rectangular rather than square.
Im making mine for a queen size bed
hi there how do you hide your loos ends ?
I have 10 colors. Should my 1st square have all 10 and then grow put from there?
Hi can you do the kaleidoscope blanket in just two colours as I want to do one in two colours
hi there I want to know if I can use a motiy color yarn instead of changing yarn so much.
Hello. Yes. You most certainly can. I used 3 colours once and the blanket came out stunning. Plus you can use a solid colour if you want but you still need to cut it when starting a new corner set.
I love the Kaleidoscope granny square pattern; however I do better with the written pattern than I do with tutorial videos. How may I am obtain the written pattern?
Janice I am in the process of writing up the pattern however I am inundated at the moment and will take some time. You might try Fibrespider as he also has a tutorial here on RUclips.
Hope this helps.
can i make this with 3 colors?
what if mines started ruffling and dont straight
How much wool do I need in each colour please
Am waiting with baited breath for today's part. I want to know the order of colours before I confinue
Still editing... should be ready in a few hours 😁
Is there a place that gives the amounts for yarn for this pattern?
Wheres part 2? It says join you today for part 2 but where is it?
It's Monday morning 10.30am here in Melbourne Australia. Still editing but it will be here during the day. 😊
Can this blanket make into a king ? And look good?? Just wanting your thoughts... this is beautiful!!!
Firstly thank you. Secondly I haven't really done my homework on a larger size. But the way the combination/sections works up, looks like you may not be able to control the sizing.
@@WowCrochet aww man!!! Thank you so much!!!
من فضلك سيدتي، كم عدد كرات الصوف من كل لون؟
عملك جميل جدا. أحسنت ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Is there a written pattern for this? I love this design
There is and the original name of the pattern is squared Diamond Granny by Chris Apao! however for me I personally found the original pattern and Designer hard to understand and follow. none of it was making any sense in the way it was explained! I am greatful for the free pattern that she designed though. Then low and behold along came a spider .....fiber spider took the time to explain it step by step and row by row. with his guidance and direction it was easy to understand. ( that man has the patience of a saint).
Here from Dana and Joe
Thank you 😊
Have you broken down the amount of yarn per colour?
Can the ch1 on the sides be optional?
If you don't make that chain the work is going to be pulled and it won't stay flat.
Although it is nice to have the tutorial, I work better with the written pattern of which I would like to get very much. Do you have a written pattern?
I wish you could get this pattern written in simple terms from somewhere
Perché non ci sono spiegazioni in italiano?
your vid goes silent in places
To fast when changing rows
I thought this was a poorly made tutorial.hard to follow with all the mistakes and joking about it.
sorry, I love your blanket but your camera work is making me nauseous
