I remember watching this movie when I was like 12 and never seeing it again in media, I legit thought I had dreamt up the whole story in a fever dream.
This is my family’s Christmas movie, love watching it every Christmas 😂
Possibly the most whimsical creation of all humanity. If I could get a job as a sky pirate who fishes for lightning….well, I’d accept a pretty big pay cut if I had to!
I love the Baldur's Gate 3 music in the background because honestly? In retrospect this movie really feels like a great DnD session.
It had a good amount of Princess Bride vibes in it
I was delighted by this movie. I saw it 13 times in the theater. Couldn't get enough of this romp.
Adore this banger. A hidden classic if you will!
"my brother in stupidity" IS something I need on a shirt.
This movie is on the same level as "Princess Bride"...and that's a pretty high bar!!
This movie is a certified classic, definitely one of the greats.
Great job. I got to relive my favorite movie without having to watch it. Such a great fairytale.
Silly and adorable chaos. I'll always be happy to revisit this film.
This movie is so wild and heartwarming. I love this movie. It has become my #1 favorite and is, for sure, the movie I will suggest to anyone. It hasn't had enough popularity!
I just watched both your movie recaps and they gave me so much nostalgia :) If you're looking for more films that have the same wacky vibe City of Ember or Inkheart are also up there if you've ever watched them, although personally I would advocate for a recap of The Fifth Element - amazingly fun movie and so much to comment on.
8:40 Primus bleeds blue because it’s a play on the term “blue blood” (someone of noble birth).
The book is even crazier. It's one of my faves
Watched this movie for the first time randomly because I found a DVD of it somewhere in my house. Watched it about 20 times over the next 3-4 years and this is the first time in a long time that I even got reminded of the story. I just remember how great it made me feel. This movie just didn't take itself too seriously, and every actor played their parts impeccably.
Stardust is unhinged and brilliant, and quintessentially British in it's writing and humour 👌✨
This was a brilliant film. Much better than the book, which is rare.
Was *cackling* the whole way through this. Loved every second. Thank you for this seriously hilarious and accurate summary of the movie 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love this movie!. I know it's wild, but you can't get that kind of ride anywhere. Good job of this. I liked it
This movie was a total autism movie for me. I watched it so much when I was a kid like multiple times a week for many months
I saw stardust in the cinema 7 times. I have watched it a minimum of 3 times a year since. It is my favorite rainy day film and I STILL go giddy and weak at the knees for Charlie Cox because this film made me fall in love with him. The moment when they're on the sky boat and yvaine starts waltzing with Tristan and the music swells as she starts glowing makes my heart soar to this day. I read the book and didn't like it as much. I was 16 when this came out and I'll be watching it till I die.
Some scenes of the evening market were actually filmed in norwich. Elm Hill was the road and they turned one of the most popular buildings on it to the slaughtered Prince building
2007?
Has it already been that long? Wow.
Anyhow. I LOVE that movie.
Shame execs don't have the balls to make these kind of movies any more.
Damsel without the humor or witches (Fairy Godmother) or a Star (Fairies like Tinkerbell)
Love this movie! A classic and entertainingly over-the-top fairytale! ^^
stardust is peak cinema, and anyone who says otherwise will be visited by me at night
I cannot express in words how much I love this movie. It fills my heart with warmth nostalgia and teenage wonder every viewing.
One of the best fantasy movies. Keeps the good balance of epicness, magic, and humor.
This is my favorite movie, it’s so much fun
I count this as one of my favourite films I watch at Christmas! It’s got all the warmth of a Christmas film 😍
oh my god...nostalgic. also love that you're reviewing movies it's fun to watch you no matter what type of content! :D keep up the great work
The voodoo doll in the water is such a unique way to kill someone
Wild. I had been intending on rewatching this recently. Guess this is my calling to do so.
This movie has such a soft spot in my heart. I arranged to see it with a date when i was a teen. My date never showed up so i decided to just watch the movie on my own. I absolutely loved it so that day i learnt. No matter what happens don't let other people letting you down ruin a good thing.
This movie is one of my comfort films. I've seen it about 100 times and I still love it. I really enjoyed your take on Stardust, great video! Calling the characters by other names from their other movies was hilarious. "Ok whatever, you got a week, or I'm marrying Superman" was a particular favourite 😂 You just earned a new subscriber 👍 Big love from Manchester UK xXx
This movie will always go down in my memory as the most mid last movie I watched with my grandparents the year 1 died of cancer and the other of a heart attack. RIP grandparents, I truly wish I had spent that valuable time with you in any other way than watching this in the theater with you.
Simply wonderfull. Make more of this, I'm begging you!
Absolute blast of a movie. Akin to Princess Bride in wordplay and fun.
A rewatch whenever I am down.
This was a unique and fun fairy tale film, I always liked it.
Your narration of the story is one of the most hilarious I've seen. Thank you.
