In this video we see a static brake test being carried out on a Class 150/2 DMU.
Static brake tests are needed when:
- Train formation has changed (units added/removed)
- After rectification of a brake fault
- During a full preparation cycle or safety check
Each step of the brake system is checked for correct operation.
