It was Daenerys, her children and her army that done 99% of the work and suffered the most.
The only thing Jon done was kill a bunch of whites, Sansa hid and Arya although killed the Night King, didn’t really matter since he wasn’t even much of a threat.

The pact of ice & fire is more of a reason why Dany shouldve never went Mad, while her & Jon reunite the kingdom coming full circle giving the throne back to Targaryens; the irony would be that both her & jon would’ve bore a male child breaking the curse about them being unable to have kids & keeping the bloodline pure
Honestly I hope they don’t change Jace and Cregan’s relationship because as a gay person I’m tired of the hate direct at us. Even though it’s the producers making the change people will take their frustration out on us calling us woke imbeciles. So that’s where I stand. In an ideal world I wouldn’t care but at this point I’m tired and I don’t want any backlash for a show I love.

i dont get how people are saying show runners are trying to pander and forcing an agenda.... we literally do not know what jace and cregans relationship was like, and its been speculated to have been on the romantic side since the books came out like you cant deny there isnt room for that development... its not forcing

Sara snow was made up and mention in mushroom version. However, Cregan never mention a marriage between his bastard sister and the prince or the fact that he had a sister. Also the other two version do not believed this as it was out of character for Jacaerys who was to believed have been a very honorable young man. Also mushroom wasn’t in the north and there is no real solid evidence that Sara snow was even real.
Also Cregan kept his word to Jacaerys and came down and guarded Aegon III who Jacaerys died trying to get him to safety.
Baela didn’t take any man until they try to marry her to lord Rowan who was fat and old so she ran from the Bethoted to her cousin Alyn Velaryon. But it was believed she remain faithful to have until she learn of his death.
As a gay person myself, don’t change the character to pander to the alphabet mafia. Like you said if they want to add more representation to the show, then bring the other mafia members to light.

With the 100 changes they've made with every character this is what's crossing the line? They literally changed an entire families skin color. Sexuality of a character that never has children is pretty irrelevant in the grand scheme.

that's not cannon, in my head cannon, they get off on the complete wrong foot, then jace bangs sara snow and it gets really ugly, but he gets creegan on his side when he agrees to marry her.
I really wish people would stop thinking of Fire & Blood as canon. It’s not…based on the way it’s written. The books itself states many times that the various ‘versions of events’ depicted in it are based on the word of multiple unreliable sources. Since it’s supposed to be second- and third-hand stories from unreliable sources, if ANYTHING is ‘canon,’ it’s the SHOW, which is giving us a first-hand view of things ‘actually happening,’ so to speak.

Honestly i wouldn't see the problem with making Jace and Cregan gay, like if the show broke the "canon" (which has already done a hundred times) but one of them was a girl people wouldn't make such a deal of it
I'm sorry but going to the wall from a storytelling standpoint he's on a mission to get people to declare for his mother. The nights watch doesn't participate in the wars of the seven kingdoms, so what's the point of going there?
Because it shows jace and Cregan developing their relationships. In f&b they go hunting together even despite the war. And jace could easily fly to the wall quite quickly from winterfell, it’s not a massive change really

@@jeffreym8503 most likely fan service (which I actually don’t mind, people miss seeing the north and they do have the time to go to the wall). In universe explanation, it helps develop the bond between jace and Cregan, they’re friends hanging out. Maybe jace takes Cregan on a ride with vermax to the wall? It could also have to do something with the prophecy

That’s not the point, if it’s part of the source material then so be it, but it isn’t, so it can only be regarded as pandering(something that was proven time and again to be poor writing). I read Fire and Blood, of the 3 accounts that are used when telling the Dance of Dragons, 1 account says that Cregan says Jace reminds him of his younger brother, the second says that Jace overstayed his welcome because he wanted to convince Cregan to abandon the old gods and turn to the seven, and the last account says that Jace deflowered his bastard sister so he married her to soften Cregan’s wrath. None of them has said a thing about… well, “a thing” between them(nothing beyond brotherly anyway) so why force it?
I would absolutely love it if Cregan was like “yo I just had to duck up my uncle for usurping me and now you want me to go to war for you after you deflower my bastard sister? Come on man”
If they make Jace gay cancel the show. There is no mention of that in cannon unlike the other gay characters. Pointless change that would only be done to make a point
Actually jace and Cregan had fond and close relationship, fire and blood is an unreliable historical narrative, it would not go against the book canon if jace and Cregan have a thing. I don’t have a problem with that.

I’m all for them telling a great story to but remember the last time they change stuff from the source material? They’ve proven that they are incompetent and yes I know it’s different people but HBO as a whole is incompetent and cannot change stuff from the source material like this we cannot afford to have another season eight the series and franchise will not survive another massive F up.
They changed stuff from the books ever since season 1 of GoT and everyone loved GoT season 1 to 4. not to mention that house of the dragon is based on a book where you don’t really know the truth. They can change as much as they want without going against the book.
Tbh I don’t care if they change someone’s sexuality if it actually fits and has consequences in the story, I know it’s such a huge thing now having all this sexuality stuff but the facts are if they push to much on this stuff people will stop watching. The last of us episode 4 for example 😢 even tho I really liked the show I just think that episode was completely unnecessary and got someone like me who has friends of all different types of religions it’s hard to watch something like that with them.
