I was thinking the same thing. Having Alicent mistake Viserys’s dying words is ok because The Small Council already plotted to crown Aegon. Aemond accidentally killing Lucerys was actually a cool twist. Blood and Cheese, however, needs to be depicted as 100% intentional to carry the weight of the act. Hoping they stick to the source on that scene.

Actually Helaena chooses herself to die instead of her children. But they threaten to r@pe Jahaera if she doesn't choose, which would most likely k*ll her, since she is so small. Then she chooses Maelor. I hope they do it the same way in the show and not whitewash it. It's supposed to be as gruesome as what the mountain did with Elia Martel in GoT. It's the big wtf moment of this season.
Something about the way it was described how Aemond suddenly came to battle with the queen that never was never sat right with me. I always felt he meant to take both of them out

In the trailer we see Princess Rhaenys at a black council, we last see her in S1 leaving Dragonstone, meaning she may survive the battle to come at the gullet?? Or is Baela's scream/war cry you think, from after she witnesses her grandmother's unaliving??
No. Rhaenys is dead long before the Battle of the Gullet. You're probably thinking the Battle of Rook's Rest, which will happen halfway through Season 2.

You're an id*ot. What is his fault? So you are removing the decision and responsibility from the black team? Your argument will not be accepted in court. The black team are hypocrites, for them an eye for an eye is bad, but son for son is good. Perhaps the blacks should have given the eye to Aemond, then none of this would have happened. Also, this wouldn't have happened if Luke had been punished for cutting out Aemond's eye and nearly killing him.

In the trailer Daemon looks to be be heading someone so if the leak is true from the Alys Rivers audition and he gets shot again he’d probably behead the archer at Harrenhal and then when Aemond comes he’ll behead Simon Strong

A lot of people on reddit disagreed with me about the affair between Aemond and Helaena, but honestly why wouldn't they have an affair? The Brother-Sister-Brother dynamic is kind of a staple in asoiaf, so it makes sense logistically, but it ALSO explains why Aemond becomes so ruthless. Yeah seeing your sister unhinged and inconsolable would make anyone upset, but if he's her lover, it would explain a lot tbh. I'm not even a shipper, it just makes SENSE.
It makes sense as Aemond grew up being so much better suited than Aegon to be heir, because getting to marry his sister was one more of the perquisites Aegon didn't deserve or appreciate. Aemond would have heard Aegon whining about the marriage and insulting Helaena for years, which Aemond would have considered awful behavior, another piece of the Targaryen inheritance Aemond would have handled much better.
It would be illogical because Aemonds kids would be bastards and he would be a pretty big hypocrite for how he treated Rhaynera and her first 3 children.

Nah I just think while Aegon has been getting drunk Aemond has stepped up to be there for Helaena and her kids. Similar to Alicent and Christon, Aemond could fulfill the role of partner for her and be a great uncle to the kids

Rhaenys gets incinerated by Vhagar, so she basically wanted to die exactly like her daughter did, like a dragonrider. Her charred bones looked just like Leona's.

In the book, Vhagar descended on the meleys while Sunfyre bit his neck for a few seconds. The three dragons collided with each other and headed towards the ground. If Aemond wanted to kill the enemy, his brother King Aegon must be injured. There is no escape from this. Also, Aemond called himself the guardian of the throne and the protector of the kingdom. He was not called... Himself the title of king.
Also, King Aegon's injuries will not be like the book. Remember Lars Strong's leak when he tells him that you survived the dragon fire.

There were many leaks that confirmed that Aegon would not be burned, so Lares told him that you survived the dragon fire. You registered yourself as a legend

Stop ignoring the rape threats they heave onto jaehaera when Helaena wants to choose herself to die. Everyone always ignores that when they mention blood and cheese because they don’t want to show how scummy Mysaria and daemon are.

The boy was so small he was likely swallowed whole and melted to death by vaghar's stomach acid. I'd say that's probably worse than anything anyone here went through, especially given the circumstances. The greens drew blood first. What did they think, they were untouchable after killing and starting a war? I would have had so many guards around all my family after what Aemond did. I and anybody of intelligence would have knowing Daemon.
