I think this will be a very fun story to watch. Jace's friendship with the starks. To see how the friendship plays out later in the story. I love anything Stark/ North and anything that reminds me of Jon Snow.
I’m really excited for that reason! It’ll be a bit of good in a season of a lot of bad, likely.
To be honest: Targaryen dynasty is the only thing that interests
I am dying to finally see Cregan Stark. He’s the man.
I know who else will be dying... ☠
@@slavicsandvich5967 yup, Cregan gives out that Northern justice
@@hez859 Cregan "I didn't come all this way to let this shitshow continue" Stark
@@Elendrian let's gooooo!! Super curious about the casting
Same here.
The Tyrells are probably also not as rich and powerfull as the Hightowers, they are their "superiors" in titel alone. Even the Tarly's probably have a stronger military than the Tyrells
Great point! Plus the Redwynes have one of the strongest naval forces.
Tyrells have the abundance in resources. They tend to outsource military services to their main dependants on their goods.
The Tyrells have the authority to demand troops from every other house in the reach, they don't necessarily need a strong force of their own, but it's worth noting that Highgarden fielded the strongest army during the War of the Usurper(Robert's Rebellion), mustering 50000 men and some 5000 mounted knights, almost twice the size of any other army short of the royal army.
The tyrells are nothing but undeserving upstarts
@@levilandes1719 Not the strongest army, the largest, a small difference.
Im more excited to see the vale and the Eyrie, because they just looked so cool visually.
The sky cells were really striking!
@@QuinnTheGM yeah and it's fking cold imagine getting jailed there
Wonder if we will see the Eyrie as described in the books
@@condescendingnahida5129 they've already shown it in GoT, so I imagine they wont change it too much, but maybe we'll see more of it.
Excited to see Jace and Cregan 🙌🙌 pact of ice and fire ❄️🔥
I see “Winterfell” or “Starks” you have my attention and I will now be watching this show. Just as soon as I can afford HBO
Small correction: jeyne arryn isn't an ancestor to the current arryns because she didn't have any kids. She passed the lordship onto one of her arryn cousins.
She’s still an great (x50) aunt to them! Though not direct descendents, you’re correct.
That still means she's their ancestor just not their direct ancestor
I can’t wait for the pact of ice and fire
That’s going to be fantastic to see. That and the Hour of the Wolf.
@@QuinnTheGM YES!!!
🐺❄🐲🔥❤
7:21 Dorne was conquered by Daeron the Young for four tumultuous years but it was never fully under his thumb, with his governors killed and soldiers constantly terrorized by the Dornish, who killed Daeron himself and captured Aemon the Dragonknight. Dorne only joined the Seven Kingdoms when Daeron II, a full 4 kings later used diplomacy and marriage to finally unite all of Westeros.
This Dornish inclusion is partly why the Starks stayed out of the Blackfyre Rebellions, as they were now firmly a "southron problem".
Thanks for making the vid !
I believe when he will visit eyrie he will learn about his brother's death and then will may propmt him to make a marriage pact with the Starks.
Only issue there being he’s already promised to Rhaena.
@@QuinnTheGM Jac has other brothers though
@@SouthernPrincipe True, though there are currently no female Starks.
@@QuinnTheGM i think he promised to marry his future daughter to cregan's first son
@@QuinnTheGM The Pact of Ice and Fire stipulated Jace's future daughter would marry Cregan's son.
Rickard Stark was Cregan's father not grandfather and it was therefore his uncle Bennard not great-uncle who assumed the regency in the North. Plus Lord Tyrell is an recently born infant and in an effort to protect him his mother declares neutrality of the Reach (but several houses of the Reach joined either side of the conflict).
Rickard was his grandfather, according to Fire and Blood.
Dorne is not conquered, it joins the Seven Kingdoms via a marriage pact.
dorne is like the afghanistan in the GOT. u can occupy it but hard to conquer long term.
Jace role only came to fruition after his death. "The North Remembers"
But man what a role that ended up playing.
i am as well extremely passionate about a song of ice and fire. i love your insight and takes on the world. thank you very much
You didn’t talk about family ties Rhaenyra has to Arryns. This is also a reason why Arryns supported Rhaenyra.
I don’t really care about the Starks in the north only winter wolves, lord Dustin and Manderlys.
Wow so amazing how one-in-ten characters packed fudge
I'm really curious for Jace's storyline and for Cregan stark and Jeyne arryn characters
Same, one of the things I’m most excited for in season 2.
@@QuinnTheGM also because i think Jace is very underrated and i hope season 2 will charactizing him more
Did anyone notice that in the scene with Otto on Dragonstone, that they said it was a green 3 headed dragon? I wonder if the show changed the color from gold to green. I love your channel and can't wait for season 2.
I’d noticed that as well! My thought was that they changed it because we’ve barely seen Sunfyre, maybe it’ll be the traditional gold once we see Aegon II with his dragons.
Becuse it’s to confusing for people I mean people have a hard time remembering the names so it makes more sense for them to change it so it’s green vs black
A gold dragon logo is just gonna confuse people
When Aegon II is crowned the banners are clearly a golden dragon on black. The green dragon could be Otto's own banner, or Queen Alicent's.
Hopefully we see the pact of Ice and Fire
I can’t imagine we won’t see it!
It's kinda funny that the Arryns are always in the brink of extinction in both GoT and HotD
Great video, but it’s worth mentioning that in the show, we’re currently in 132 AC, not 129 AC like the books. They’ve changed it up in the show like GOT did
When did they mention the year?
Game of Thrones also Deviated from the ASOIAF Timeline a little aswell. Robb stark dies in 300 AC in show & 299 AC in books for example
@@QuinnTheGM thought I responded to this, but it’s on the wiki if you look at Vizzy T & Luke’s death years
Jace is taking the Catspaw dagger North when he goes. I promise. THAT dagger is already North when the books open and it got there because Jace took it there. You'll see. Jace is taking it there. It would take a bit of tyoe-but Jace is going to hide that dagger in the North. When it shows back up into play-Varys and LF BOTH want it.
Correction: Dorne is brought in 7 kingdoms by marriage not concqured
True, though it’s conquered briefly by Daeron I!
Nice
Perhaps a Dire Wolf mauling awaits him at Winterfell as some emissaries from King’s Landing are already there making marriage pacts with the Starks. 😅
Unfortunately Cregan does not have a direwolf!
when Ned discovers the dead stag and direwolf along with the cubs, it is remarked that no one has seen direwolves in a very long time.
We need to see if this Sara Snow, if she was real or a myth?
My guess would be that she’s real, while her marriage is a myth.
I wasn't a huge fan of how the portrayed Jace in the show. Harwin Strong was the strongest man in the realm. I know theyre younger than Alicents kids but they made the Velarystrong kids all weak and small.
Jace had the right idea that dragons are more convincing than ravens. Only aemond had a bigger dragon
the sara snow story version is so dumb I hope hbo doesn't choose that route. i think it's more interesting to see a Stark and Targaryen bonding through friendship and shared values. It gives more meaning to Cregan still supporting them by the end of the Dance.
I definitely agree! The bond between Cregan and Jace is really important.
Yeah I just hope they don’t rush that episode because there so much stuff they have to add in season 2 I think it’s gonna end with the fall of kings landing
@@marlondasilva8438 I can see S2 having a focus on Jace. Show him in the Vale and the North, get the audience to like him then end the season with the battle of the gullet.
@@QuinnTheGM yeah
@@blaubeer8039 The Jace and Sara plot goes nowhere, literally doesn't affect the story overall. It's a waste of screen time when they could give significant development to Cregan and Jace's characters. But I think hbo will pick Sara plot anyway.
Doesn’t Jace go the Vale then to white harbor and then to the starks ?
Yes
He does! Didn’t mention it because I didn’t think show people would know much about White Harbor.
they might skip White Harbor as the Manderleys' actions may be ignored since they don't particularly do anything on their own during the Dance that any other house couldn't do.
I just wanna see if Mushrooms account will be cannon in the show
Why do you say Aemon didn't mean to kill Luke he did it . And now is going to have to face the reaper for what he did . And don't think the Baratheions will be getting off either. He did exactly what he wanted and realized he messed up and can't control his dragon.
Lmao no Charles lukes dragons attacked vagher out of fear and protecting her rider that’s why both of them told there dragons to serve them and aemon facing the reaper guess what daemon doesn’t come home from that either
Because the show showed us that Aemond had no intention in killing Luke, he wanted an eye not his life and then he started a hunt on Luke to have some fun but was shocked when Luke was killed by Vhagar, he noticed he didnt have the situation under his total control. Basically when u have a dog and u tell him "get them, get them" manipulating the dog's mental state and then when the dog bites u look surprised and shocked that it really happened, very immature, naive and stupid behavor.
@@wokeaf1337 George's book Fire and Blood tells a different story from HBO's reinterpretation. Just like GOT HBO vs the books are very different.
@@celtickitc sure but we are talking about the show here not the books.
@@bobrogan573 How was it a mistake that Aemon didnt mean to kill him?? He threatend him to cut his eye out then pursued him to scare him and bully him . He wouldn't have did that with Daemon confronting him that fashion.
Correction Dorne was never conquered by the Targarayns
Was conquered by Daeron who treacherously killed.
@@thetalesofelbek7042 conquerored means seized and occupied. No rebellions no quibbles.
Any possibility for him and Cregan Stark to have more than a friendship? 😅 I mean I wouldn't mind not including Sara Snow at all

@@mikered1974 then he needs Cregan to take those clothes off for him so he can chill lol
How and when will Jace know about his brother?
The book is unclear on this.
@@QuinnTheGM 😞it will be heartbreaking to watch
Honestly I think Cregan knew jace was a bastard he just didn’t care because they technically share the same blood jace from harwin that of being the first men so Cregan saw they had the same blood and saw jace as a brother.
I feel like they really won’t have Daeron…when daemon seas holding war council he said the greens only had 3 dragons
Martin confirmed he’ll be in season 2! Daemon said three adult dragons, Tessarion is still young.
He said three (adult) dragons than later in the dialogue he said they have four.
They have Vhagar, Sunfyre and Dreamfyre, of which only Sunfyre is a young dragon. Tessarion at this moment is at Oldtown with Daeron, being a very young dragon- Sunfyre was 10 years older than Tessarion at this time.
If the Starks never forgot an oath then Cregan should have immediately mobilized for war rather than waiting for a marriage proposal
I believe the House Tyrell took power of the Reach after House Hightower lost it.
Nope, they’re still the wardens of the reach at this point. They took that title from House Gardner, which died out during Aegon’s Conquest.
Hightowers as this point of time is Powerful and more Influential than Tyrell is Thanks to Otto & Alicents but still Tyrell are Lord Paramount of Reach & Warden of South as the time of Aegon the Conqueror.
@@QuinnTheGM It doesnt matter if they are the wardens of the reach, if they would hold more power than the Hightowers they would be present at King's Landing just to make sure that not other houses dictates their fate but they arent or at least they were not worth mentioning.
@@wokeaf1337 the lord of House Tyrell died early, leaving an infant in charge of Highgarden. Fearing a war that could lead to the baby dying, the Lady and the steward decided to stay out of the conflict altogether.
House Tyrell generally stayed away from KL politics since they held enough power in the Reach as it were. It was only in the Baratheon era that they started making moves around the throne.
What about the iron islands and the red kraken
Those are ask by Rhaenyra via Raven.
They were given ravens by rhenyera and decided to support her claim
I wonder if Jeyne Arryn will try to convince Jace to sleep with her.
We shall see! That’s what Mushroom says. I’m included to believe Eustice on this one, specifically, though.
At this point, is the North wall built yet? If. It not, when is it built? I’d like to see a TV series of that era.
It was built thousands and thousands of years prior to either show!
@@QuinnTheGM thanks. Maybe one day mr Martin will fill us in with a series of books about how and who built it.
@@robertsole9970 read the book Fire and Blood
@@robertsole9970 he already told us Bran the Builder constructed it after the first great war against the Others (white walkers) with the help of the Children of the Forest and giants.

Jace seems more like Ser Crispin Çölə's son. He exhibited similar mannerisms throughout the show so far....quick temper, clinched fists...slow mind.(Read the last part in LF's voice)
Slow mind? He's gonna be one of the best diplomat
@@angelyuqi6709 No he’s not. The Vale is ruled by a woman who is related to Rhaenyra’s mother, they will support Rhaenyra’s claim regardless. In the North he promised his future daughter to the Starks which is an obvious and weak proposal. These are both basic and easy diplomacy a little better than Catelyn Stark but not saying much.
Now the person you responded to said Jace has a slow mind which he does. He ends up dying in season 2 because he was filled with anger at the capture of his brother and ended up flying recklessly into battle and ended up getting his dragon harpooned and dragged into the sea. Slow mind.
@@aegonii8471 Jace became good friends with Cregan, who feasted and hunted with him when he was there. He couldn't marry his daughter as he was betrothed to Baela but did make a good proposal to marry his first daughter to a Stark. Jace has a more knightly and capable demeanor than Luke, who is essentially still a kid.
However Jace is also young and reckless, which is why we lose him at the Gullet to what is really an amateur move when attacking ships. The Velaryons really should have fought the Triarchy at sea, not the dragons.
Slow mind sounds more like Harwin strong. He fell right into criston coles trap and assaulted him.
slow mind is Aegon II lol get it right bitch
Thank r
Uhm, I threatened him and chased him with the biggest dangerous dragon & I know I’m older and a better fighter, but it was an accident…
Vs. I drank and I know I was going to drink but chose to drive anyways.

Jizzaerys
Isn’t the girl going to winterfell
While a decent video I was expecting a little more. I like how the author tries to have Jace sympathize with the lord Stark about someone trying to take their kingdom out from under him. I have not seen the series yet but loved Fire and Blood part 1. The Aaron's seem to be like the Tyrell's and don't really help anybody really just there to take up space and look out for #1. Looking forward to getting the season on video and watching each episode.
RIP Lucerys, anyway who is getting his promised wife?
We don’t currently know! That’ll be explained in future seasons.

she has 2 husbands afterwards , a Corbray (not the lord) and strangely, Garmund Hightower , a cousin of Alicent Hightower ,giving him six daughters (oof)
There is a theory that house Strong are originally Stark bastards
That’s an interesting theory!
ok
Yeah, Jace is really Criston’s son.
No he isn’t in the books he’s Lord Harwin Breakbones , “ the seed is Strong “
I’m with you. Looks more like sir crispin
Unfortunetly Jace is born a two years after Rhaenyra marriage to Laenor do its Probably Ser Harwin Strong is the Father.
One of directors said that kids are now between 17-21 im assuming the 21 year old is aegon and jace is 20. Time jump is 20 years from when Cole and Rhae were together 🤨
I would love to find jace is Cole’s son, this plot twist would be awesome
@@claudiaheras6408 wrong your calculation is very wrong did you not remember that 2 years War in Stepstones is the age of Aegon II that time is Rhaenyra is not yet married then a year later rhaenyra is married then two years later jace is born that means age difference between Aegon & Jace is 5 years apart so its probably still ser Harwin Strong is the Real Father of Jace.. those ages your saying are from Strong Boys and Daemon Sons well when season 2 is coming obviously the Actors playing Jace & Joffrey will aged up Duhhh..😏
wimpy boi very strong personality tho
Very Strong Boy.
I see no way in hell the Arryn decide to join Rhaenyra's, who married Daemon, who the entire house at this point suspects of killing her then wife, an Arryn.
Daemon’s wife was a Royce, not an Arryn. Both houses in the Vale, which is why her uncle threatened to talk to Jeyne. Rhaenyra herself is half Arryn, which could also be important!
@@QuinnTheGM ok I'm a brainfart
I think there was some reason. I just can't remember what it was.
@@blaubeer8039 House Royce is very Loyal to House Arryns after there Conversion in Faith of Seven remember House Royce guards the Bloody Pass the only way too Eyrie.
It’s the opposite really. Rhaenyra is half Arryn on her mother’s side so Lady Arryn is a relative of hers
I don’t know why, because he hasn’t had that much screen time, but Jace seriously bugs me. Maybe it’s the way he treated Luke when they were sparring. He knows what it’s like to be pushed down by the bigger person. That’s exactly what Cole had Aemon do to him, years ago, in the training yard.
I hate being this guy but the Stark in Episode 1 was Rickon Stark the father of Cregan not his grandfather.
Incorrect, according to fire and blood! Especially considering the fact that that guy seemed to be pretty only in 107 AC, as compared to 130 AC when the Dance takes place.
It's maybe too much, but I ship cregan and jace
