House of the Dragon season 2 is coming very soon and with it the return of House Stark with Cregan Stark.
Lord Cregan Stark, known as the Wolf of the North and later in life the Old Man of the North is the head of House Stark, Lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North during the Dance of the Dragons.
In season 2 of a Game of Thrones Prequel series, House of the Dragon, Jacaerys will fly to Winterfell to negotiate with Lord Cregan to fight for Rhaenyra Targaryen, and they will reach an agreement known as a Pact of Ice and Fire.
In this video we discuss the life of Cregan Stark, the Wolf of Winterfell who will fight for the Dragon Queen, Rhaenyra Targaryen, send his Winter Wolves against the Lannisters and the Hightowers, later himself march a great Stark army south, take King’s Landing and rule instead of a Targaryen king as his Hand of the King, period known as the Hour of the Wolf, and also the man praised by one of the best knights in Westeros history, the Dragonknight himself, as the finest swordsman he ever faced, that Wolf of the North, Cregan Stark will finally appear in House of the Dragon Season 2 Episode 1.

Cregan Stark: They died the day we marched, boy.
Cregan was a shithead for saying that, idk why it's being quoted as some bad ass thing. Cregan was only a couple years older and he arrived to fighting late. The Tullys were in the thick of fighting all over the Riverlands much earlier into the war.
They really werent in the thick of the fighting. They were waiting for the father to die so they could join Rhaenyra. Cregan sent the Winter Wolves because he knew it qould take time for him to gather his army. Lets just forget that it was the Winter Wolves who basically slaughtered the Westermen and Hightower lords. The Blackwoods did more than the Tullys in this war.@Galero15
The Northern lords always have to clean up the Southern Lords messes.
I will forgive any change to the TV show from the books if they include only this legendary line: Stark elite army, Winter Wolves: “We have come to die for the dragon queen.”
House Stark play a major important role in House of the Dragon. Also I can't wait to see Cregan Stark, Rodrick Dustin, and the Winter Wolves supporting the Black Faction and Rhaenyra's Claim to the Iron Throne! The Wolf aiding the She-Dragon.
It takes a Stark... every mf time... to put things right. Hope they do Starks justice especially Cregan Stark and his Winter Wolves. Cregan was said to be the best swordsman of House Stark to ever live, even admired by the Dragonknight himself.

I like the role the Starks play in the Dance. The friendship between Cregan and Jace, Jace possibly falling in love with a Lady Stark, the rumor of dragon eggs being laid in the Crypt, the pact of marriage between a Targaryen princess and Stark lord, the Song and eventual birth of Jon, and then the hour of the Wolf at the end when Cregan takes over as Hand to bring justice to oathbreakers and securing the next heir's place
I don't really have many thoughts about Cregan but wanted to comment to say great breakdown and analysis. I was gonna say I hate Cregan but I actually don't but if someone wants to fight about it, I am IN!

Cregan is integral to the war's outcome, even without seeing much violence. His host approaching King's Landing is one of many factors that convinces Aegon's advisors that the war is lost. It's in part thanks to Cregan's efforts that Aegon III Targaryen, Rhaenyra's son, becomes king.
