- Cregan Stark was on a war path set to send westeros into another bloody war bearly after the Dance Of The Dragons had ended. But the hour of the wolf as about to take an interesting turn at the hands of Black Aly who sought to calm the lord of winterfell and keep the brittle peace created in the death of Aegon ii.
The Dance Of The Dragons will be the focus of the plot of the new HBO spin-off House Of The Dragon coming in 2022. So if you want to learn the story before we see HBO's take on it then this will be a very long-running series. Game Of Thrones / House of the dragon are HBO shows based on George R R Martin's A Song Of Ice And Fire series. The information in this video comes from the books a world of ice and fire as well as fire and blood.

Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen was trapped on Dragonstone by her brother King Aegon ii with no way to escape her fate. What was to come was the final showdown between the two main players of the dance of the dragons and bring the war into its final phase. The House of the dragon was crumbling and the events that was about to follow would only cause more damage to both sides of the war.

Most people go to a restaurant for their first date. These two sat in a hall of judgement.
A prime Stark first date. Some lovely scenic beheadings, declarations of treason and conspiracy, smalltalk about winter and a visit to the clubfoot.

These videos deserve way more views. These House of the dragon spoilers are fucking banging. I read the book back in 2018 and I needed a recap and I appreciate this dude making these videos. I wish this man good fortune in the wars to come.
Is it possible that the reason Cregan Stark was doing all of this because Jacarys Valaryon told him about the Song of Ice and Fire prophecy?
Rhaenyra would have shared the secret with her heir, and the pact drawn up between Jacarys and Lord Stark was literally called “The Pact of Ice and Fire”.
Perhaps Cregan shared the prophecy with young Aegon the third and this was the only real motivation that the traumatized boy had to actually rule.
I do think that it could play a factor. There is a fan theory that Aegon The Conquer telling Torrhen Stark about his dream was part of the reason he desided to bend the knee. It may very well be that information was passed down from lord stark to lord stark. i do think in house of the dragon we will see him and jace talk about it, with the trip to the wall and all.

Cregan was certainly more wise then his descendant Edward. Cregan saw that the south would always be a pit of snakes. So the south was best left to the southerners to rule. Starks belong in Winterfell.

I don't think so. Margaery wanted to marry whoever will sit the Iron Throne, and Robb just wanted to avenge Ned Stark, rescue his sisters then go back North as an independent kingdom. The Tyrell wanted to play the game and they intended to stay in the game. I just don't think the marriage can ever happen.

It's taken me about three years to cover i'd say 85% of fire and blood and there is still a lot of theory videos and related content i want to do. I still have a lot i can draw from when it comes to The World Of Ice And Fire, i've only covered maybe 30% of that. Plus we have Dunk and Egg, TV stuff, and i've hardly touched the main books. However going to 3 videos a week means i'm burning though the books a lot quicker now so winds or fire and blood part 2 would be lovely.

Yet the north love Ned. He was a fine lord.Cregan army control Kingslanding. While Ned power ended with Robert death.
Brandon tried to form strong political alliances with his three children…. But it didn’t work out that way and left his two youngest to pick up the mess with the youngest running to the wall to be free of it all.

I think the surprise cregan leniency thing is actually kinda simple hes an honourable man who serves his king , crowned or not his king gave a command cregan an honourable man obeyed his kings command ? Bit late to the video lol
I think so too. The book's narrator is confused by Cregan's motivations because the Starks are pure lawful good, unlike the characters from Oldtown or King's Landing who expect everyone to be selfish and have hidden ulterior motives.

Yeah so there's two explanations for that dumb plotline with Jace and The Freys.
Out-Universe - The Writers are Room Temperature IQ glue eaters, as realistically it makes zero sense as to why Jace would secure an even longer way to King's Landing when the King's Road already exists.
It was really just done as a callback to GOT, this never happens in the Books, the last Battle of the War literally happens on the King's Road *with Cregan riding across it with his Army* smh
In-Universe - Jace was desperate to do something of any worth as Rhae was being too slow with doing anything, so he sparked up this almost pointless agreement with The Freys without any real way of securing Harrenhal for them at that time.
Likely in his mind is that if Cregan never uses the passage of The Twins that the Freys can secure for them then technically he won't owe anything in the end, but I doubt that's how The Freys are going to see it but he's banking on them being a weak House for them to not be able to do anything in the end.
In any event its a "win" for him.

If I remember correctly aly had 4 daughters. No one knows if her descendants intermarried back to the male line but its entirely plausible.
No Alyssane had 4 daughters and they didn't marry their siblings. But if it makes you feel better Ned's greatgrandmother is Melantha Blackwood so they still have Blackwood blood
If you are thinking that is the reason the starks have magical blood then that's not the reason anyway they always had magical blood since the warg king or perhaps even since bran the builder considering he used magic to build the wall,storms end and the high tower
