I always wonder, these japanese composers back in the day...did they know that they would influence a group of gamers so deeply that they would recollect, lovingly, about these songs deep into their adult years? The acid jazz arrangement is interesting. Done by the original composer too. But yeah, it's more an exploration of the melody and themes in a new genre, not really an improvement over the original.

Magus fucking rules. He takes no prisoners and is an absolute savage. He has the best soundtrack, the best backstory, the best dialogue, and he'll call other people out on their bullshit as his music hits in the background, and then proceeding to lay waste to his opponent. (Queen Zeal, anyone?) He just fucking rules. Best character in the game, without a doubt.

This song plays if you bring Magus to the fight with Queen Zeal as opposed to the usual major boss theme. How fitting considering if that is the case then you aren't fighting the boss: You ARE the boss and Magus will let her know it!

Pisses me off, they should just upload extended loops on a channel they run themselves and collect money off of viewership through a monetized channel if they're going to pull extended versions all day long.
