Wanna get more surprised about this epic composition? As soon as 0:24 you will notice that there is a constant buzzing/electric sound besides the main instrument ones. If you are hearing the music on headphones you will notice that due to the stereo effects that sound keeps moving from left to right and back to left, but that's not all, it changes the volume while moving. When the sound is equally on both left and right it's midtune, when it moves to left it lowers volume, when it goes full left it rises and gets a high volume before going to equal position with midtune. Then it does the same when moving to the right side of your headphones first coming on low volume and reaching high volume beffore going back to midplace. Focus your hearing on tha movement. It's making an infinity loop ( ∞ )on your ears. This hidden infinity is present on this track, on the last battle track and also on the bell sounds of the pendulum clock intro at start of game
They made this theme one of the most unforgettable ones, since crono's theme is present too in this ost, doing all those quests just to revive him made this battle really special, like Crono's revenge for having to sacrifice himself, truly the best classic RPG ever!
Not at all. It used the instruments from the PS1 version, which were worse, and it sounds all scratchy. The snes version is MILES better imo also the horns sound way worse imo

To me, no it's not unless if your global genocide only targets specific types of people. I think global genocide is exactly what the Earth needs to heal itself to keep supporting life in the future. But hey that's "crazy talk" 😂

That is my favorite "fun fact" about Chrono Trigger.
Anyone that says this soundtrack isn't an F'ing masterpiece is fooling themselves!
OMG!!!! 🤯🤯🤯
That's cool, but it's more of a V shape. The volume is high at the sides and low at the center
大ボス曲のイメージがある感じで、途中でラヴォスの曲やメインテーマの一部が流れるのがいい‼︎
DS版以降の裏ボスのテーマにも使われてるし、盛り上がりもすごい‼︎

Except in the ending where you just go kill Lavos as soon as you reach End of Time.
But still yup, I agree, this game is freaking awesome!
Judeth wouldent have it any other way
this is a perfect loop
and plus this song is awesome with the menu music part
Literally one of the greatest video game songs of all time, if not THE greatest.
Lavos first form was imperfect cell! RIP Akira Toriyama
that is correct. the DS version had slightly improved sound quality.

@@Aerumnus Why do you care, I see a comment, I reply, big deal.
Pu this song with Laxasia's Bossfight of "Lies of P"
Its frenetic, and GOD
This... is... Lavos!!!
This's the REAL thing?!
At last...
*YOUR LIFE ENDS HERE!!!*
@@Janus-ZealI think Magus was just a tad pissed at Lavos when he said that...and for good reason
Perfect music for the battle with the Devil's Machine, the first stage of the penultimate boss of HTF: Red Doll's Dominance.
For the Entity!
Épico!!
The Snes has better sound quality for this one, but this version is just much better!
Is there a difference between this version and the SNES one? Sounds the same to me.
It's enhanced ever so slightly. The horns sound better too.
First 25 seconds is definitely better than SNES
I honestly agree I don't hear a difference either

No...? Maybe.
Your point is well seen my friend
This plays when I think "I should commit global genocide!" I wish I could initiate a WWIII.", etc. Anyways, it makes me smile. Is that a bad thing?
