Windows 11 has some great new features and is incredibly better than Windows 8.1. However, one annoyance of Windows 11 on a high-resolution display - some fonts are blurry or fuzzy. Here’s a look at the problem and how to fix it.
The problem is if you have a screen resolution of 1920×1180 or higher, most of the time the DPI scaling is set to at least 125% to make everything easier to read.
Densely packing pixels into a small screen makes photos and apps look stunning. However, it also makes desktop programs, that aren’t designed to run at high resolutions, small and difficult to see.
And because Windows 11 is using a different scaling method for DPI, it causes the fuzzy text problem.

THANK YOU! This seems to be working so far. Ive had this issue on and off for a while now, but it was unbearable this morning until I followed this video.
The perfect fix for Project Professional on a 2nd display. My current date line and status date line disappeared constantly. The first change made my main screen a little blurry, so I switched back to "Let Windows Choose," which cleared that screen up. On my 2nd and 3rd screens, some graphics never appeared before doing the registry mod. I can't thank you enough. One less thing I need to worry about when I have to do my weekly construction schedule update. I have been trying to fix it for 1yr.+. Major props!!!

First option fixed it. Thought it was an issue with firefox because I just upgraded to 11 and changed browsers at the same time. Fixed it perfectly for me thanks.

Hi! This helps on my 1920x1080p 15" laptop screen, but when I connect external 23" 1080p display it gets scaled to 125% too. Is it possible to configure these settings to work with laptop screen only? thanks
Same. My font's only blurry when I do one specific task ("saving as") using the laptop monitor. I thought this fixed the issue but my EXTERNAL display has now changed to 175% and when I changed it back to 100% the font on my LAPTOP display became blurry again when I save documents. LOL

I had an issue last night while playing games and recording my screen using snipping tools. Screen fonts became blurry and well I had to restart my pc and it's back to normal. But I still tried your two steps and my fonts have been a bit larger but not too large and apps too but it's okay for me though since I'm a near-sighted person😂.. Thanks for the tutorial..

Thanks for the information. Although it did make everything sharper on my 3840 x 1080 monitor, it also made everything to big. Do you have any suggestions on how to make the fonts sharper without everything being so huge?

@@ghalikabbaj9296 I no longer have the monitor. However, I think turning off sharpening or turning it down helped, on the monitor itself. Also, rtings has a profile that will help as well.

What with 78? Magic number? My laptop is 1920x1080 on 14inch. I like to set the scale to 150%. So what value should I put for LogPixels?

Dude, you can just turn off font smoothing. This is for everyone who keeps it on because fonts without smoothing is terrible looking.

Algunas aplicaciones unicamente se corrigen hasta deshabilitar la aceleración de hardware, esto se realiza en las configuraciones internas de cada programa/aplicación.
Lo descubrí despues de horas configurando mi pc jajaja
