Now and after many years someone may ask: is it really a good reliable engine? I see it (isf3.8) in many brands, heavy trucks, buses and off road applications. How many miles this engine is supposed to run? Thank you
Thanks for your question. Absolutely. We have manufacturing facilities in North America and worldwide. You can find more information on manufacturing locations on cummins.com under "Investors and Media" then "Worldwide Manufacturing Locations" (sorry, can't put a link in RUclips comments for you).
Why dont you extend the coolant inlet behind the waterpump in the block to cyl. nr. 4? Better cooling for cylinder 3 and 4 that are prone to failure on the isf2.8
Hello, I was wondering I saw a 4cyl. isf 3.8 in you you tube video with twin turbos, and I was wondering what that Service Model Name was? Also if you could tell me the power it makes thank you.
Not currently, but the base hardware is capable. This engine is not currently sold in North America. Thanks for your question.
Will Cummins still have a North American plant ?

Thanks, Jeff - the ISF3.8 has ratings from 105-125 kW @ 2600 rpm. We have a brochure and more engine info on our cumminsengines web site.
