just goes to show that the developers prioritized their time and energy well, devoting early resources to make a GOOD GAME and then polishing up the less important parts later. Too many games these days look great but are no fun to actually play

Seeing some of the earlier Rigs from November 2017 was rather nostalgic! I remember getting the game during an invite-only closed alpha free weekend, ended up getting a pack of four alpha keys to play with friends. Honestly, I still find the layout of the Space Rig right before the big overhaul (with the hologram still off to the side) to be my most "familiar" Rig, even if it was literally just a bunch of plain monitors in the middle of a room.
So many memories while watching this. I recently came across an old capture I took on Xbox when the game hit Game Preview in early 2018, and was extremely surprised at how sparse it was.

My problem with the Rig is that there is nothing outside of the Memorial Hall to suggest that it is inhabited by dwarves. It is very much a generic industrial sci fi space.
damn, i love the mineral trade concept at 19:45. Makes it feel more real since it'd look more like you throw the minerals inside it, rather than just having it work.
I personally hope that they add a Bar, but not the regular bar I’m talking one of the big roomy bars, maybe 8 or more players could stay in the bar before they go on a mission, maybe a mini game, the bar would probably be a separate room from the actual ship Since finding room for it would be hard

I took a look into each of the dwarves rooms on the rig to see it for myself, and I noticed a huge stack of papers with a pen in gunners room. Is he writing about all his adventures on hoxxies? Cause that'd make for a great book.
Rewatching this, cause it's great. (Small Update, the Slope that stops you getting stuck in the thrusters was removed at one point, I think it still is for U35 but I haven't checked since Exp)
Honestly it's amazing how well the devs did when it came to working on what was best for the game although I'm kinda sad they swapped out that bigger abyss bar for what we have now :(
Should do evolution of ways to escape the space rig. The update beforehand to the current space rig design had a easy way to get out with that gap by the pipe on the middle floor area leading to the elevator to the top hanger, you had to drink the shrink drink them drink the grow during to clip through the ceiling, but it's changed now. I did find if not host, landing on a barrel with speed can make you sometimes go into the floor or through a wall, but is inconsistent, I accidentally did it recently by using the slide jump off the window I to a pile of barrels and went through the floor and was on top of the walkway by the launch bay. Any new easier ways out?

Him standing there getting some refreschment from the water dropping on him. And by the way: It needs an in depth video about all the movie and other references in the game. I understood quite a few myself, but not all of them. I find it amazing how much common media experience I (and probably many of you) seem to share with the devs.
3 years later and the rig is still basically the same.. still areas that seeemed like they would go some place and the up stairs regions still under used. weres my balony to look out at the glory that is hoxxes 4 ?

I think I got my game not long after octoberfest happened.ya from looking at iti got the game mid way thro the games final. Workings before decorational. It is nice ot see the loved gamea changes. OK o know o had a hiatus but dam... That's a lot o never knew
13:21 The fog wasnt there originally. It was just very low light conditions, and maybe a teeny tiny amount of fog that got corrupted by you playing the rig on the wrong game version. I was there when it was written!

I missed when the mission select terminal wasn't in front of the drop pod. It was easier to kick barrels into the pod then.
