      Yes please, poker sounds great, five finger fillet and arm wrestling would be amazing too. FFF would be like rdr2 and arm wrestling would be just a mash a button type of thing. Having a mini mess hall kinda like the abyss bar "or they could serve food in there" and perhaps have food similar to the beers we have would be amazing. Especially buff food just like the buff beer to get extra beefy before a hazard 5

      ye, I agree with the poker, and I also see why the shooting range isn't that reasonable of an ask. it seems difficult from a game design perspective. I would like to have some sort of trading system so you could trade minerals with the boys. like if I'm missing say 25 croppa for an upgrade, but have like 225 enor, I would love to be able to trade with another miner rather than pay the steep 1:3 exchange price. But I can also see why this wouldn't be possible. Keep up the great dev work and rock and stone!

      I think that would be cool. Like, the pen could be a special pod that takes the lootbugs to the spacerig for... reasons(that people who love lootbugs would most likely hate). When the machine event is activated, the pod will start to play a special song that'll attract lootbugs, making them spawn into the room by digging out from the floor, walls, ceilings, what have you. These special lootbugs can be corralled when you pet them, making them move in the direction you're aiming when you 'em. When in the pen, the lootbugs will remain there for a bit of time before trying to get out again, thus you'll need a player near the pen in order to keep them in. You need a certain number of lootbugs in the space pen before the timer runs out in order win the machine event. Loot bugs that leave the pen or are killed in it will take away from the score, of course.

    I'd love it if you could personalize your little room and unlock furniture, stuff to put on the walls etc
    When you go in a lobby, it loads your room and the other dwarfs can visit it

      I love this idea so much I want to customise the space rig to my liking, place posters on walls and plant pots and samples of minerals on tables, maybe add a lounge room which is near empty so we can have a large space to put these things in addition to putting them everywhere else or you could have the poker table there or some sort of card game table

    They DEFINITELY need to allow you to promote in a game with people, promoting is like a cool thing to celebrate with some drinks and shit, like have confetti. I don't like going "brb gotta go promote" in a co op game

      I also think promotions should GIVE you resources, not take them away. I hate that in the lower levels you finally get to promote but then need to go farm minerals so you can.

    Lootbug infestation: for some weird reason, this specific cave complex has become filled to the limit with Lootbugs, be warned about leaving stray chunks of minerals.
    Untouched asset: Good news team, you're in luck, scanners found an IFF signal of an UNTOUCHED BET-C near landing zone, enjoy the extra firepower
    Lucky outpost: Somewhere in this cave, a small fortified position from the first incursions is still running somehow, anyways, be happy, the post will likely have a sealed fixed Turret Mk III (has more damage than MK II with Defender mod, range is slightly better, carries same amount of ammo as Point extraction turrets), a free Supply pod and powerful searchlights able to light a small cave room entirelly.
    Beard bug
    Try not to laugh and keep killing Glyphids, for some reason, ALL locals of the region have grown dwarvish beards, enjoy the style show while you blow those fancy beards away

      Another concept for a hazard would be Intoxicating Atmosphere. Which is basically low oxygen, but instead of taking damage, you just get wasted.

    An idea for adding new machine events might be to put elements from other mission types into a compact form. For example, a “Portable refinery”, which spawns with a single Dark Morkite well that you have to connect to and extract from while defending against bugs, or an area with a bunch of oil shale with a Refueling sentinel, where “some dwarves in a nearby escort mission need help refueling”, so you have to send then enough fuel in a certain amount of time or they’ll get overwhelmed while their Doretta is stopped (you don’t see them on the mission, it’s just a narrative beat to give the event weight)

      Ohhh, I love the idea of mini-objectives that suggest that other teams are working nearby. Would make the mines feel a lot more busy, even if you never actually see what's going on.

    I would like to se the ability to hang items on the gunners zip-line, you could like hang a jade crystal and let it ride along the zip-line without needing to carry it so you have the option to more quickly move items

    To be honest, I'd want to have a rescued BET-C stand behind the dwarves on the ending screen kind of how Doretta's head is also on said screen.
    Because everytime you do save one it's left behind most likely to be corrupted again.
    Great video btw, I'd also love to see collected minerals being sorted out after a mission, that'd be dope.

      This would be really nice. The only other miniboss, the korlok tyrant weed, gives you a bonus reward for its defeat, whereas BET-C only serves in combat and gets no recognition otherwise, forgotten at the end of the mission. Perhaps this could compound with (on top of a visual overhaul for her) management dropping BET-C units in from the space rig for a considerable fee, or a mission type.

      New Hazard: Charge-Sucker Infestation
      Charge suckers are incredibly plentiful in this area, leading to several Bet-Cs around the map.

    I’ve thought of the “Meat Hook” OC for the scout. It would allow you grapple into and stick to large enemies. Like praetorians, breeders, or bulk detonators. It’d probably lower the range or reload of the grapple gun.
    I’ve also thought of a reward for collecting Dotty’s head. A skin for Bosco where instead of Bosco it’s Dotty’s head jerry rigged spare Bosco arms, rocket boosters and random gun duct taped to the side of her. (The head could be flipped sideways to make it fit Bosco’s hitbox better.)
    Additionally additionally, I want to see a trigger on all the undertaking weapons. It’s not important, it just annoys me.

      I want an upgrade that allows you to pull in heavy objects. Not other players cause that would be an obvious disaster but grabbing objects from a distance would be a godsend. Imagine snatching one out of the air!

    Ok hear me out, weapon and pickaxe charms earned through little challenges with a standard/bronze/silver/gold/diamond varient everything from compressed gold, to barrels or maybe dice. and they just go funny jiggle. I would love to kill X amount of Y to get it as a charm, just doiing a bunch of fun challenges to unlock fun cosmetics

    I've always wanted a new mutation called: Blackout. Essentially your flashlight doesnt work and your flares only last a couple seconds, the scouts flare gun would also only last a fraction. Mainly to see how terrifying the game can be with no light sources and having to rely on ambient light and your weapons flash from firing the gun.

    A bit late, but something I'd definetelly would love to see is a mission mode to encounter the "final forms" of the dreadnoughts. It just feels weird that we never encounter them, even in deep dives, and I'd love to see these gigantic monsters, essencially working like raid bosses, maybe, where the whole missions' objective is killing it, while also maybe getting some mushrooms, or exterminating some pesky flies, or even getting some tasty eggs in deep dives.

    Remember during the holidays you could have snowball fights in the space rig? That was fun. More mini games, more beers, and maybe a way to watch the other players interact with the shops and upgrade table.

    I have a long list of requests, of various sizes, which I guess I'll summarize here.
    -An area in the space rig for those personal drop pods that you use when joining mid-mission, and a terminal taking you to the server browser there
    -A new small species that makes those webs you find in the dense biozone and fungus bogs and probably elsewhere, since glyphid webspitters don't appear to do it
    -A praetorian equivalent to a slasher, since the oppressor appears to be a praetorian guard
    -An actual way for the drop pod to lift back off the planet with reverse thrust, rather than just floating up to the tunnels where it can use those chains
    -Flare expansion - perhaps higher and lower intensity flares with burn time tuned for each accordingly
    -The ability to ping something and hold the button to designate it to go to somewhere else, such as having Bosco mine a section of a wall or another player interact with or move to a specific area
    -Subsection rooms of biomes, expanding on concepts found in smaller scale in the biomes already (perhaps one being a crashed ship or alien station)
    -Mini M.U.L.E. functionality, where they could carry limited resources and perhaps have some heavy objects strapped to them before needing to return to the main M.U.L.E. to transfer supplies, and seeing them more on other mission types
    -More mission modifiers, such as bugs being sensitive to light - smaller ones run from enough of it, bigger ones have more... terrifying reactions
    -Traversal and support tool overclocks - one giving the engineer two more turrets regardless of other upgrades, or the satchel charge a blast of fragments with more damage but less terrain destruction, or making the platform gun shoot vertical barriers. Specifically, nothing would drastically change the use of it in general like some of the unstable overclocks in the game can for weapons, you could always still use it for the default purpose, it's just more specialized
    -Extremely heavy objects which either barely move when carried alone and move at heavy object speed when carried with two dwarves (or a dwarf and Bosco, of course)
    -F i r i n g r a n g e
    -Functionality of some sort in a mission for that 'mega mule' we see in the Space Rig near the deep dive terminal
    -Potentially a singleplayer or coop campaign seeing either the death of a glyphid queen ("Die like your mother did!"), or the fracturing of the planet to produce that giant shelf of floating rock. Shouldn't take away from the main game but the opportunity for something closer to scripted events while retaining some procedural generation would be very nice.
    But what I really want to see is alternate endgame mission types to deep dives. I'm picturing missions classed as lengths 4-6 instead of 1-3, but having completely new mechanics rather than being a slog through a ton of the same stuff. Joinable by someone who hasn't fulfilled the qualifications but only startable by someone who has. I find it likely these would be capable of having multiple machine events or crates/packs.
    -Escort Duty: A mission with Doretta having a detachable, self-powered trailer (so teammates could bring it to a previous room and clear it of resources and fuel then come back) in a second drop with spare side plates and fuel cells, with the prize being a bigger Ommoran that has extrusions much further out in the cave warranting the longer journey.
    -On-Site Refining: A mission where there are 6 or even 9 morkite wells, and the pipe nodes can be built as splitters, allowing you to make more complex systems and fill multiple cargo rockets, with some down time in between each rocket launching and another landing.
    -Point Extraction: A mission where you have, on top of the normal minehead rocket, several smaller outlying towers each with some unmoving spotlights, a turret (with more ammo), and a rocket which can be launched for a reward of 40 nitra but the loss of it as a deposit point, meaning the outlying cavern it occupied would then have to be emptied at range from the minehead and all resources within carried back by hand. Launching the main minehead rocket once the quota is filled launches all the outer ones automatically.
    -Elimination: *G l y p h i d c o c o o n c l u s t e r*
    Personally don't have too much creative ideas for some of the other types of missions, other than Salvage Operation possibly being a mission subtype and seeing stuff like mineheads or refineries as reparable structures.

      I really like the idea of fighting a glyphid queen, whether it's in a campaign setting or not(granted that would be cool), i feel like fighting a big bad boss would make for a good endgame activity, i mean sure there's eliminations where you fight multiple dreadnoughts but, they're in a coccoon, and clearly we interupt their growth, so what are they turning into? maybe not a queen, but a mission type where we fight a single huge dreadnought, maybe with a version for each type? maybe the glyphid dreadnought becomes a glyphid king, arbelest and lacerator fuse into a single huge two-headed dreadnought, the hiveguard maybe being a large unmoving boss with a sack of swarmers attached, like the xenomorph queen from aliens, or maybe it launches little bee hives or swarmer sacks as projectiles? i guess that might be too close to a queen but yeah, just some ideas off the top of my head that i thought were cool, and kinda spawned from your comment.

      The whole concept of what exactly the final evolution of the glyphids is and what the current queen of their seeming hive is has been left a mystery to allow GSG to expand on it as they wish to. In the lore, dreadnaughts weren't a thing when the ill-fated attempts of the other mining companies were going on - they, like wardens or the grunt variants, are a new evolution the glyphid species is creating to defend themselves. Seemingly, these are different to whatever queen is at the heart of their nest, a more frontline bug while still managing to gain some control over other bugs, which is a worry itself. Doubtful that a glyphid queen would be much use in combat, if it were to be reached it would certainly be a fight to get to but less of one to defeat. Whatever the case, it's likely not the biggest and most powerful thing the glyphids could throw back at the dwarves, as they all seem to be able to evolve into bigger and better bugs at will. Some of your concepts would make great further dreadnaught variations though, even if they might not fit the way a queen would look (though then again I don't know if those concepts do or don't fit GSG's thoughts on what that would be).

      one small thing to add to your list, 1 new beer called redistribution or some such thing as that. On top of costing some ingredients it would also cost 120 money and it would redistribute that money to other dwarves that drink it. 120 because it can be divided by 4 3 and 2 as well. it might as well have a 30 coin interest as well that the company takes

      Can't wait for the game to soft lock players away from completing it if they don't have sufficient ammo for a platform gun or one at all. It's just like when the refinery lands with a pipe above a 40 meter drop except not as mission critical!

      It's a soft lock for the event, not for the mission as a whole.

    Something I would like to see in the game is being able to find special weapons whilst on a misson. These would function a bit like the fuel cannisters dorretta has. They could have limited ammunition, but would be very powerful, so you really have to choose a good moment to use them/it.

Maybe it could be a special minehead intended to mine a huge chunk of special material that DRG wants for whatever reason, and starting the drill up will lead hordes of bugs in to try and destroy it, similar to Refinery, but still different enough to be its own thing.
      I'd also like to see some sort of excavation archeology mission where we go in and find ancient alien artifacts that we recover, as well as an on-sight ecological analysis mission where we go throughout a cave system and call in special scanners that scan and research the ecosystem around them, attracting bugs that we have to defend the scanners from in the process.

    I think a really cool overclock idea for the scout flare gun is a small aoe effect, like radiation or burning, in exchange for a small amount of core time, maybe like 15 to 20 seconds.

      The problem with that is that it would make the flare gun more like a weapon and less like a support tool. The flare gun is made to light up an area so people can see, not for combat.

    For the error cube rewards it could give you something like the unusual effects from TF2. And for the firing range it could just show a small video of what an OC can do. Like an option to see someone using it against some bugs.

      Error cubes to turn cosmetics into unusuals is an awesome idea! Not everyone would like they look of rare cosmetics, but there is guaranteed to be at least something you like the look of if it can be applied to any cosmetic. The rarity and weirdness of the error cubes along with the internal glow just feels right for something like that.

    I think future machine events should focus on the mining/dwarf things that aren't elsewhere
    1: mineshaft. The starting platform opens up into a mineshaft with elevator. The dwarves are tasked with using the mineshaft to move rocks up/down to a special collector, while bugs are attracted to the noise.
    2: minecart: the event is "mobile" and you need to get a minecart from point a to B, kind of like doretta but you steer it.
    3: demolition work: it gives you mega- c4, drilling lasers, etc, and you need to extract deep-in rock minerals within the time limit.
    4: bracing. A mega-drill is called down and has weak supports. You have to grab wooden braces and attach them to the drill to keep it upright, or it starts to tilt. Bugs try to stop you.

      The third one is awesome and I think that it would be a good one to put in. Maybe just have an area where the mineral is instead an exact location like eggs. The 4th one is a good idea but it sounds like a lot of new mechanics and doesn’t make much sense why it wouldn’t come with bracing

    It'd be neat to see something like getting a little trophy or keepsake in your crew quarter from promotions. Everything after the first promotion doesn't really matter. The humorous possibilities of these work gifts are endless. Obviously these would only be seen in your "own" space rig, if you joined someone else's you could see the knick knacks they've unlocked. Just something that would endear and personalize the space rig more.

    An idea I've had since I started playing this game was drinking contests, insteof passing out after a set number of drinks it's a random chance to pass out after each drink, and you're more likely to pass out the more you drink or the stronger the beer is. Maybe you could also build up a tolerance if you drink lots of beer really often, with a higher tolerance your chances of passing out each drink are lowered or altered so you can stay standing so those that drink more will win more drinking contests
    And if poker ever gets added you gotta be able to buy rounds of beer at the table

    I kind of wanted equipment overclocks but I can also see your point about them now. what I do think would be cool though is being able to change the paint scheme on your equipment like you can on guns, it just feels weird I can paint my gun all kinds of pretty colours but not my other stuff and even if its just simple different paintjobs it'd be kinda nice

    I love the idea of being able to play poker on the spacerig, but it would probably be better for it to be an activity that can be interrupted without a big fuss like snow balls or a basket ball game in low gravity or something. Otherwise you're just gonna end up with players joining the lobby half way through someone else's poker game.

    Bit of a crazy idea; After completing a mission, each player could choose to save a first-person recording of it. There'd be a theatre room attached to the Memorial Hall that the dwarves can enter into where the host can play one of the mission replays of anyone in the lobby for everyone to just sit around eating sandwiches and drinking beer while watching, there'd be a terminal inside that would dispense Single-Serve Corporate Issue beer and Sandwiches. I think that this makes sense lore wise because it'd be crazy to think that a massive corporation DRG doesn't bodycam their employees for performance reviews and to make sure that the dwarves aren't smuggling contrabands (Steves) onto Rig 17.

    I want something like a super elite deep dive. It would be like the regular deep dive or edd but it would be longer and you could bring in more people. I would love to have to collect morkite, eggs, aquarks, and do a black box all in one stage with 4-8 dwarves with me. They could have tons of nitra and gold and the swarms and caves could be HUGE. Just imagine ten dwarves fighting off hundreds of glyphids at a time and ending the wave with a dred. On the last stage of the dive you would have to fight an absolutely humongous drednaught. If the dreds we fight now are just babies growing up in a cocoon then i want to see what a full grown one would be like.
    Since that idea almost impossible, i would just want to see a longer deep dive type. The deep dives are fun but having only three stages per dive can get kind of old. I would adore doing a 6 stage dive that would give you two blank cores, two overclocks, and two cosmetic overclocks. In my opinion the experience and adrenaline that the dives give me is the best thing in deep rock. Just fighting hundreds of bugs and somehow coming out victorious is so much fun. Dives are a show of team work because you usually have to work together to survive and it just feels cinematic and epic.
    I used to be a huge raid guy in destiny 2 and having something on a huge scale in drg would be what i want to see.

    In reference to your suggestion at 8:15, that sounds like a perfect for for a mission like the mule repair, where you're going in to clean up a previous team's failure, but this time they left behind a morkite refinery already built and halfway full, but broken down and requiring repair.     I had an idea for the machine events building on your broken machine idea.
    Machine Event: Damaged Mine Sweeper (This would be some kind of drilling machine that DRG shoots into Hoxxes that drills straight down while probing for new caves for the dwarves to explore.)
    Step 1: Scan machine for the broken parts
    Step 2: Mission control sends broken parts in a small pod.
    Step 3: Put broken parts back on machine. Once all 3-4 replacement parts are hammered into place, the machine starts up triggering the event.
    Step 4: IN this step the machine starts up, but due to extensive damage it still isn't working properly. The goal at this point is to "Fix" the machine fully by filling a bar at the top of the screen. Parts would periodically jam and break off the machine, going flying and resulting in the players having to retrieve said parts and put them back into place. (The bar could turn red and not allow the players to fix it until the piece is returned, doing so resulting in a large portion of the "repair" bar filling up.)
    Swarms of bugs would attack the players during the event, drawn by the grinding noise of the machine's jammed gears, attacking the machine (resulting in repair process decreasing) and the players (being the hazard that prevents players from fixing the machine).
    Event Success: The machine would straighten up and eject the Matrix Core Infuser before proceeding to continue drilling into the ground.
    Event Failure: The machine's "repair bar hits 0" due to bug's damaging it at which point it explodes / The timer runs out and it explodes due to it's gears grinding for too long.
    MC: "Damage assessment received; sending in replacement parts for the Mine Sweeper."
    MC: "Oh hell, it's far more banged up that we thought, get that thing operational again... and do watch out for the bugs that will likely be drawn in by the noise."
    MC: "Watch it! Those rouge parts will take your head off. Get it back on the Mine-Sweeper before the bugs gnaw it to bits!"
    MC: "GET THAT THING WORKING! It's taking too much damage! (Repair goes below 25%)
    MC: "Damn it... that didn't go well... this is not going to look good on my report."
    MC: "Well done! We have enough trouble locating un-stripped caverns as things are. Good work."

      Heres an idea:
      The giant floating rock in space could be it's own biome
      hazards like:
      breaks in the rock ceiling out into space that burn you
      gravity anomalies that multiply fall damage
      low oxygen areas that slow you and glyphids down but also make it so you can't be set on fire
      super reflective space dust that makes it super hard to see in some areas
      magnetic traps that decrease your accuracy if you stand in them but multiply electrical damage
      tiny oxygen leaks that suck you towards them (like the wind tunnels in sandblasted corridors but in reverse)

    I want error cubes to be tied in with an inner plot. This game is already dipping into the cosmic horror setting with the heartstone, the wall eyes, the massive screams you hear when a glyphid egg is collected and the Glyphids Dreadnoughts, so why not dive into it?
    Edit: We already have enough defence-oriented missions, so I don't think a defensive machine event would be a good idea. I think it would be nice if your team could stumble upon ruins of worthless, abandoned machinery. It would be great worldbuilding.

      That gives me an idea. You could find some old machinery and call in a scanner. You have to grab it (like any other large object) and scan the machine to get a record of it. This even could need you to dig up parts of it, open up parts and go inside and possibly even have more hacking events to get doors open or defensive machinery turned off.
      That could be a really really neat machine event.

    I’ve had a lot of thoughts about spicing up the space rig and I feel like the best way to do it is by adding trophies. Sort of like the safe house trophies in Payday 2. Kill a certain amount of glyphid oppressors and get an oppressor tooth in your cabin, that sort of thing. Would definitely be a good way for players to show their achievements and add a sense of progression and achievement to the space rig

    Here’s an idea for the rig, a repair minigame for Doretta. It takes a few minutes at best as you’re repairing her AND get to add possible upgrades to her. Such upgrades could be as follows:
    Small sentries-infinite ammunition but don’t necessarily do a lot of damage (more to give Doretta some help should players leave her exposed to large groups).
    Remote control lights-Doretta is now a big flashy girl and can help you see what you’re doing by using the pointer tool, and said light is similar to a beacon rather than an extra flashlight that Bosco has.
    Increased speed buff-Doretta’s engine has for some reason been combined with a booster that allows her to travel/mine faster/further at the cost of fuel meaning you’ll need to get a little more fuel than usual.
    Stronger dril head-Doretta’s drill is able to pierce the Omaran Heartstone faster at the cost of being “louder” meaning that mire bugs will be drawn in, perhaps even some bigger and stronger ones than the usual stuff.
    Thats all Puglord could come with for our favorite drilling machine, rock and stone mates!

    I still think there should be a shooting range. Even if I have to load into it it'd be better than going into a mission to test a build or weapon. Reason? Well here are the steps to testing a weapon in a normal mission.
    1. Find a normal mission with no modifires on the map.
    2. Get into the drop pod.
    3. Wait for the timer to go down. (Even if you're the only player in the lobby)
    4. Drop out of the rig.
    5. Go to loading screen to load the level.
    6. Drop down, land, and wait for the doors to open.
    Now once you've tested the build and you're ready to go back to the space rig?
    1. Abort mission and go to what is basically a mission loss screen.
    2. Wait for all the XP bars to go up and animations to play.
    3. Load space rig.
    None of these things take that long, but the time they all take really adds up when you have to do them every single time you test.
    I think there should be a holo-deck door near the weapon terminal. When you go into it it would instantly go to a loading screen and spawn you into a small map. The map would always be the same so loading times could be as short as possible. When you pressed the 'Abort Mission' button (or whatever it'd be called) you'd instantly start loading back to the space rig instead of going to the long mission end screen. This would save SO much time when testing builds, but would get around most of the problems stated in the video.

    I feel the soccer event you suggested is kind of meh. It doesn't fit with the theme of the rest of them (being themed around the bugs in some way, or a resource to get).
    Maybe instead that could be the defense one? You've got to throw/kick the bombs to blow up various waves of enemies or something?

    I think the easiest multiplayer game you could add to the space rig would be basketball. You've already got literally everything you need for it in the game already, just need a court and a ball. As for support item modifications, I think the one I'd like to see for the platform gun is "loose objects stick to platforms". Flares, mineral chunks, carryable objects... you throw it at a platform and it sticks there. Great for making sure your flares stay where you want them, or for keeping minerals from scattering all over the place while you're mining... or for keeping Doretta's head from rolling all the way back down to the end of the tunnel...

    I wanted to try and flesh out aa few ideas other people had.
    BET-C call-in:
    For 250 Nitra, call in a BET-C unit
    Helping other teams:
    MC will sometimes inform you of a miner team that needs help, adding spontaneous objectives similar to deep dives, where now you have to collect X eggs, find a morkite well, or take down a dreadnaught.(third would imply cooperation between teams and gets into the next idea)
    Other miners:
    Alongside helping other teams could come, well, other teams. That would be worthy of a season all by itself as the coding required to make convincing NPD’s would take a lot
    More Events:
    Scanner: you’re on the edge of scanned territory, and management sends down a scanner you need to protect from bugs. This could fully map out the cave system you’re in and highlight secondary objectives
    Bosco: A solo Miner and their Bosco were taken down by a glyphid/mactera/Rival swarm, and you kill the swarm and repair Bosco, gaining the bot for the remainder of your mission
    Heartless Bastards:
    A team left their Dotty behind after an escort mission. If you save her by taking her to the drop pod, you get credits or materials from MC (I’ll let the professionals decide the reward)
    Thats it for events, now onto
    NEW MISSIONS:
    FUBAR: A dreadnaught has fully evolved, and Management is sending in multiple teams to bring it down. There are 3 teams sent down at different parts of the map, and the Giganaught is loose upon the map. The teams need to meet up and kill the Giganaught.
    Examination: Scans have shown an anomaly, it’s your job to go down there and figure out what it is. This could either be an intro to a new enemy type, or a previously unknown ore.
    New Modifiers:
    Lootbug hordes: A game-lagging amount of lootbugs.
    Assistance required: A team of miners needs help, and you’re the one to give it to them (this could lead back into the other miner teams idea)
    Just one more idea,
    Every bug is wearing a BK crown

    I think additions to the Space Rig and new Machine Events are a great way to expand DRG's setting. I don't think the game needs pages of super complex lore, but there's lots of inferences we can make about the company and Hoxxes.
    I love how Salvage Missions and the Tritylite event tell us that there's other teams doing the same job as you, and it really makes you feel like your really part of a larger company. Even the OMEN Towers show us that for DRG as a company are capable of modifying entire planets if they need to.
    Ebonite Mutation and Kursite Infection give us a better look at Hoxxes, and what it would be like to live there. Plus since Escort Duty was added, it's also not out of the question that immensely powerful psychic rocks are something that exist on Hoxxes.
    Burger King Machine Event when, Ghost Ship? They haven't been responding to my emails...

    Love pretty much everything you said here, especially about support tools and machine events. I do think that powerups are kind of weird though, and buff beers pretty much take up that slot in way that's fun, simple, and makes sense.
    Some ideas of my own I'd love to see in some way, shape or form:
    - I love the idea of biome-specific enemies, and the different bugs of Hoxxes having distinct species and I think it could be super cool to expand on that idea. The Deeptora Honeycomp/Bough Wasp Nest is an absolutely perfect example of this (and to a lesser extent the elemental variants of preatorians/goo bombers). Maybe we could see something like a breed of spitball infectors that hang from the ceiling in a biome with stinky ground they don't like to grow on, or magma shellbacks in Magma Core that do fire damage when they hit you, or the truly evil naedocyte exploders that I have no other ideas for.
    - Red lootbugs that release an explosion of nitra, similar to the gold lootbugs.
    - Please management, please let me bring Steeve home with us, I promise he won't chew the wires this time.
    - If I could choose to add a room to the space rig, I'd make it a sort of hangar or garage bay where all the Mollys, Dorettas, supply pods, and other things that aren't the drop pod are stored and repaired. I mostly think it would just be super cool to look at, but to add a function to it, maybe there could be terminals for Molly upgrades and cosmetics. Of course since there's one Molly per team it would have to go with the host's Molly. No game-changing upgrades but small buffs, like choosing between slightly faster mule walking speed or faster deposit speed, or team-wide buffs like a minimal speed increase or minimal damage resist when within 5-10m of Molly. We also already see Mollys of various colors in the space rig, so it would open up a whole new set of frameworks and paintjobs as well.
    - A non-buff beer that makes you turn purple.
    - Make cave leeches able to grab the mule and you have to free her.
    - More armor upgrades, the ones we have now are nice and all but there's no reason not to choose bigger carry capacity for tier one, and I'm not sure any of the other upgrades really change enough for what you pick to matter. The same could go for pickaxes and support tools, and give the flares some upgrades while you're at it. I'm sure there's a reason the devs have left it as is, and that's fine, but it would be nice to have meaningful options to switch up every once in a while.
    - Let us Steeve acid spitters. It'll be fun.
    - Interactable neutral flora and fauna are a really nice touch, and more inclusions like the cave angels and mostly useless elevator plants would be very cool.
    - Ebonite Dreadnoughts.
    - A repair/escort-type machine event where you have to repair a mini-drilldozer or some other piece of mining or research equipment with stored valuables and then escort it a short distance to a retrieval pod that drops in.
    - A cave-in mechanic might be interesting, even if it's as simple as the patches of dirt you dig through reforming and closing up the hole since it's a much looser material than the rest of the surrounding stone cave walls.
    - More barrels in the space rig.
    - For the love of Karl, please separate the frameworks and their default paintjobs.
    - A crown.
    I can't think of anything else funny or serious off the top of my head so I'll end it here.

      I would love a machine event where you have to bring in spare parts and it drops in a thing or you just get like a little mine head rocket that drops in because there is a broke mega mule thing or a drill dozer or even make up some cool new machine they use, then download the coordinates like the relay thing like the black box or the dish on salvage operations, then it drops in something and you have to defend.

    They sometimes shout "SKULL!" when you hit the rockn'stone button, perhaps a Skull table in the space rig would work since it's far simpler than poker and has a similar feel. They probably need to get the rights though, womp womp

    Definite recommendation for the cafeteria idea is that the food and some kind of passive or active buff, that way you could mix and match the different daily specials in the bar and cafeteria.
    Maybe ones that increase XP gain or mineral gathering efficiency.
    And of course my personal favorite: one that causes your character to release large toxic gas clouds randomly throughout the mission, maybe not toxic to the players but definitely toxic to the bugs.

    It would be pretty cool to see some kind of artifact recovery mission. Theres a few ways to do it, but personally i think a marker on the map similar to lost gear coupled with a short point defense to extract, followed by returning a large visually distinct object like the end of an escort mission would be fun. It would also have an interesting mix of things to do, making different dwarves more effective for different parts.
    To simplify, a lost gear marker on what is essentially a black box from deep dives, giving you an object to return like escort.

    For the shooting range, I could see it like you said being similar to the tutorial level where it's in a cave, but I think it would be designed around like a little compound/on planet base of some sort, With a section that's a little enclosure that releases bugs into a room (or be a simulation perhaps?), that lets you choose haz level and biome variant.

    Since there are 3 primaries and 3 secondaries now I think they should pause on adding weapons and add a bunch of new over clocks and weapon frameworks instead. Also the whole thing of customisability in the space rig is fantastic and probably my favourite idea. This game has such a fucking cool concept that most ideas which sound cool could at least lead to some sort of good feature. And everyone is coming up with wonderful ideas constantly and they are actually ADDING SOME OF THEM. This game has the best community gameplay and devs

    Here's What They Should Do:👇
    Resupplies should have a perk slot. The perk would add different properties to your resupply which would activate upon calling them in.
    For example
    Explosive impact: Calling a resupply will cause a massive explosion upon impact. This will help with massive swarms and deal damage to any creature caught in its blast radius. (This means you as well)
    Cryoblast: Calling a resupply will cause a massive cryo explosion upon impact freezing all creatures caught in its radius.
    Shielded Resupply: Your Resupply will land with a large green shield around it which lasts for a time. This will cause for a more strategic placemat plan when calling in ammo. Also helps with revives
    Napalm: Your resupply will cause a massive flame blast which sets everything caught in its wake ablaze.
    Turret Supply: Your resupply will land with a high impact auto turret on the top of it for a time. This too while not an end all be all, can help with warms upon calling resupplies.
    Also as a scout main id like to see the scouts flair have a neurotoxin added that attracts all mactera. This would be super helpful during mactera plagues. It could also have an option to do some radiation damage while bugs are next to it. To compensate, we take damage from it as well.
    These are just a few ways to make the game more fun. I like the game but it just needs a little more zest for me. It's the small things that often make the biggest differences.

    10:49 Yeah I definitely understand the conundrum surrounding equipment choices. In TF2 if you choose a "sub-optimal" weapon loadout, it might annoy a few people but it won't cause a ruckus. However, if you're a medic with the "wrong" medigun or even just a heavy using a shotgun instead of a sandvich, people will at best just leave the server or at worst assign a gratuitous number of spicy descriptors to your person.
    It really sucks too, because I'd love to see the engineer be able to trade out one of his weapon slots for a third tool or maybe even 1 or 2 more turrets. Heck, I think it would be cool if the engineer could make other automated helpers, like a mobile sentry that can be assigned to another player for protection, or a mini-molly that can be assigned to a player.

    Absolute darkness warning
    Flares just don't work at all
    Only light sources would be from the environment, flashlights or scout flares, but they'd have reduced brightness and burn time

    Got a couple things. First, Sniss your videos are just mindblowingly incredible. You put a ton of work in and you always find both sides of a situation, the jokes and references are on point and I theres only a handful of channels that I watch their vids the second I see them. Second, today, update 34 just came out, and I got surgery litterally 5 hours ago and I’m unable to play the game. If this is the closest thing to playing the game, I am happy. Third, your point about the support tools make perfect sence and is very in-depth. But I think instead of overclocks, there should just be more mods that change them up. Like the playforms giving damage reduction from falling, the bug repellent from the platforms, and the gemini system vs the single sentry are great changes that can change how to approach an objective. Drills being optimized for blowing through enemies, or, just, drilling faster are great too. The c4 can do crazy damage, or you can make it carve out an area. Just the small differences between the support and traversal tool mods really make the class do specific and broad things, without them being overcentralizing.
    Sorry I wrote so much, but I gotta say, your videos are incredible and thank you for getting me and other’s through tough times.
