Im of the opinion that Broly wasn't taken into account in the "Strongest in the Universe" wish, because his power is unreliable and not something he can access normally, it simply didn't count as him being the strongest. I think Broly even now is still the pinnacle of raw power if he had it all under control, which makes sense why they are still hiding him from Frieza, and Frieza wants Broly's power under control before he uses him.

I’ve never understood why there was an idea when Goku all the sudden MUI, he was stronger than Beerus. He’s technically stronger than the average God of Destruction, I can buy that, but Beerus? I may not like the character much, but Goku during the TOP was never on Beerus’ level, and now he can kinda be at that point, depending on who you ask and whether it’s Super or Xeno Goku, but at the end of the day, it’s obvious Super Goku people refer to the most, and now that we have confirmation that Broly is stronger than MUI Goku, it’s already enough of a mixed bag as it is. This is because during the tournament of power he was directly stated to be one of the weakest gods of destruction and certainly weaker than jiren's God of destruction... Its even possible that Dyspo could be stronger as well... and it makes sense that Toppo is stronger since he's replacing Belmod. Also when Toppo and Goku fight during the Zen exhibition, Goku turns SSB and one of the supreme kais says "That pressure!!! It's power on the level of a God!" And all the Gods are impressed... and we cant forget about God Sidra being terrified of Golden Frieza and his supreme kai saying that they cant handle Frieza... And Golden Frieza was equal to SSB Goku who was equal to Toppo.... Lower level Destroyers such as Sidra and Belmod are only SSB Tier at best

Even in the tory statements he contradict himself by saying he wants to keep everyone at brolys level (pretty heavily implying the movie version especially since the manga wasn't even there at the time) also the manga feats contradict everything Lastly when the super anime ended tory was asked abt both the anime/manga and he said he wanted to merge them to be more consistent. @genxvictor1805 yessss since Dbz BoG. The manga and Dbfz only made him increase in my favorite characters category I actually really like super in general. The manga has the og db humor, the anime had great slice of life moments, the moro arc was well written, the grabolah arc did great things as far as expanding ui/UE, super hero made Gohan great again even tho his powerup was BS. I don't mind it tho (his hair in base is the best imo I hope they keep it) and lastly I actually enjoyed the trunks/goten hs chapters. My only issue is that DBS is too short. Db used to spend more time on things
Beerus literally stated that whis was his teacher in BOG and in ROF whis hinted at the implications of trying hard to teach beerus in utilizing ui but that goku had the better skill and chance of doing so which he implies (also in going off of what we've seen so far and goku has better mastery than beerus skill wise)

What the writers are trying to establish is that there is guys who are at the highest levels due to power, due to speed, due to strength, due to hax, due to ability. They specifically established this in the t.o.p. with Jiren, a being with all the individual attributes of a DB fighter at their highest levels and performing at their highest levels and the immeasurable potential to match any1 even higher level than him...but not due to Broly levels of power, due to overall strength. Meaning when Jiren used his power combined with his high level attributes it was tremendous impact n power, combined with his martial arts mastery. Okay, this is gonna be a long comment, but I am so confused as to where these Characters powerscale Goku, Vegeta, Beerus, Broly, Frieza, Gas Granolah, Cell Max, Gohan, Orange piccolo, Jiren, Gogeta Blue, Vegito Blue, Moro, Zamasu and the other gods of Destruction, because belmod in the manga captures all 11 other gods and damages them. Beerus gets his attack easily blocked by Sidra and crushed by Mosco. Not only that but in the anime Whis says Belmod is stronger than Beerus and that Jiren is stronger than him? And at the end of the Broly movie Goku directly states that Broly is probably stronger than Beerus. And in the Goku black arc, In the manga, the supreme Kai says that Vegito Blue is stronger than Beerus, but Zamasu holds his own against Vegito Blue in the anime. And Orange piccolo was stated to be as strong as Goku from the TOP who apparently now isn't as strong as Beerus. Also I want to add that when Toppo says that Jiren is stronger than Belmod he specifically says "based on battle power alone" does this mean he isn't factoring in Belmod's destruction? Also Granolah and Gas were both wished to be the strongest, but Toronbo specifies that doesn't include the Gods, but they both get way stronger. And as far as Moro goes, Goku literally states he's the strongest guy he's ever fought, and that was after fighting Jiren, Broly, and Beerus. Honestly Dragonball's power scaling is a mess right now

It’s always been that way. People seem to forget how broken fusion is. Gogeta in ss alone was fighting on equal footing with Broly in ss when ssblue goku and Vegeta couldn’t. Some fans even think beast gohan is stronger than Gogeta blue which is absurd.

In the anime he only used a hint prior to the stardust breaker that why he smiled because he was testing to see how much he could take and once he saw him tank that he went all out u can clearly see the difference clear as day he was yelling at the top of his lungs when he was attacking Broly after that and Broly still tanked multiple hits/finishers

Also Moro and Piccolo stated Goku got way and far stronger than before after training with Merus. I refuse to believe anything a DB character says about Gohan being stronger than Goku or Vegeta. He can't tap into Super Saiyan reliably. But if he's pushed to the brink and his life is threatened his survival instincts will kick in and he will do anything to survive including becoming a Super Saiyan.

Well, SSB Kaiokenx10 Goku did already far surpass battle of gods arc Beerus, but as anyone with even 1 working brain cell knows by now in 2024, they keep retconning Beerus’ strength up and up continuously and everytime he has already been surpassed in the series (like 4 times already lmao) he has just magically been stronger again later on we should just ignore that fact. They are treating fans as idiots banking on the fact 90% of people are too slow to notice, and comments like these prove that they are right unfortunately.
At this point, SSG Goku didn’t push Beerus to use even 1% of his power, yet in BoG arc Goku clearly pushed Beerus to use good amount of his power even though it wasn’t his full 100%. They loosely followed the movie’s 70% power usage, and Beerus even monologued himself that he used ”mere” 10% of his power to stop Raged ssj2 Vegeta’s attacks after he hit Bulma, and SSG Goku was obviously leagues above Vegeta lol.
SSB Kaiokenx10 Goku surpassed that Beerus (easy math as Kaioken simply multiplies your power; even if Blue Goku would push Beerus to use only 10% of his power [which ssj2 Vegeta already did], KaiokenX10 would put him on par with Beerus’ 100% power..). Blue Vegito was stronger than Beerus (stated in the manga), Jiren was stronger than Beerus (directly stated in anime, and seeing Belmod’s performance against Beerus in the manga’s Zeno Expo, he is not far behind Beerus if at all, and Jiren was above that level there too), Broly ”might be” above Beerus, meaning his full power is at least on par with Beerus, but might be stronger.
And no excuses that ”he doesn’t know” or any other bs. You don’t know anything about storytelling. These statements are put there by real life people to let readers/watchers know how characters scale to each other. For example, If Broly wasn’t supposed to be stronger than Beerus, that statement would simply not have been put in the movie. But it was put in the movie together with introducing Beerus to Broly which was not needed at all otherwise.
The writers just don’t know what to do with the character clearly, so they just milk his character and pump him to new heights magically and we just need to accept it lol. Belmod is soon like 1% of Beerus’ max power as they already put a cap on him with Jiren, but continue to milk Beerus to no end, and slow fans are loving it…😂

What made it seem like it got changed terrible scaling and elementary school level narrative interpretation by the mainstream community especially during the Goku versus Superman death battle era.
Im of the opinion that Broly wasn't taken into account in the "Strongest in the Universe" wish, because his power is unreliable and not something he can access normally, it simply didn't count as him being the strongest.
I think Broly even now is still the pinnacle of raw power if he had it all under control, which makes sense why they are still hiding him from Frieza, and Frieza wants Broly's power under control before he uses him.

I actually really like super in general. The manga has the og db humor, the anime had great slice of life moments, the moro arc was well written, the grabolah arc did great things as far as expanding ui/UE, super hero made Gohan great again even tho his powerup was BS. I don't mind it tho (his hair in base is the best imo I hope they keep it) and lastly I actually enjoyed the trunks/goten hs chapters. My only issue is that DBS is too short. Db used to spend more time on things

Broly, Jiren, and Beerus are on another level entirely still. What the writers are trying to establish is that there is guys who are at the highest levels due to power, due to speed, due to strength, due to hax, due to ability.
They specifically established this in the t.o.p. with Jiren, a being with all the individual attributes of a DB fighter at their highest levels and performing at their highest levels and the immeasurable potential to match any1 even higher level than him...but not due to Broly levels of power, due to overall strength. Meaning when Jiren used his power combined with his high level attributes it was tremendous impact n power, combined with his martial arts mastery. Ive never seen sum1 counter Goku n Vegeta so many times lol and then you have Beerus, whos above even Jiren...being alive for hundreds of millions of years and trained at the highest known levels for millions of years, no1 is above him except the angels lol

At this point, SSG Goku didn’t push Beerus to use even 1% of his power, yet in BoG arc Goku clearly pushed Beerus to use good amount of his power to make it satifying fight for Beerus, even though it wasn’t his full 100%. They were clearly following loosely the movie’s 70% power usage, and Beerus even monologued himself that he used ”mere” 10% of his power to stop Raged ssj2 Vegeta’s attacks after he hit Bulma, and SSG Goku obviously became leagues stronger than that Vegeta lol.
1. SSB Kaiokenx10 Goku far surpassed that Beerus already (it’s easy math as Kaioken simply multiplies your power; even if Blue Goku could only push Beerus to use the 10% of his power [which ssj2 Vegeta already did], KaiokenX10 would still put him on par with Beerus’ 100% power..).
2. Blue Vegito was stronger than Beerus (stated in the manga)
3. Jiren was stronger than Beerus (directly stated in anime, and seeing Belmod’s performance against Beerus in the manga’s Zeno Expo, he is not far behind Beerus if at all, and Jiren was above that level there too)
4. Broly ”might be” above Beerus, meaning his full power is at least on par with Beerus, for that statement to make any sense.
And no excuses that ”he doesn’t know” or any other bs. You don’t know anything about storytelling. These statements are put there by real life people to let readers/watchers know how characters scale to each other. For example, If Broly wasn’t supposed to be stronger than Beerus, that statement would simply not have been put in the movie. But it was put in the movie together with introducing Beerus to Broly which was not needed at all otherwise.
The writers just don’t know what to do with the character clearly, so they just milk his character and pump him to new heights magically and we just need to accept it lol. Soon, Belmod will also be like 1% of Beerus’ max power as they already put a cap on him with Jiren, while they continue to milk Beerus to no end, and slow fans are loving it…😂

Goku, Vegeta, Beerus, Broly, Frieza, Gas Granolah, Cell Max, Gohan, Orange piccolo, Jiren, Gogeta Blue, Vegito Blue, Moro, Zamasu and the other gods of Destruction, because belmod in the manga captures all 11 other gods and damages them. Beerus gets his attack easily blocked by Sidra and crushed by Mosco. Not only that but in the anime Whis says Belmod is stronger than Beerus and that Jiren is stronger than him? And at the end of the Broly movie Goku directly states that Broly is probably stronger than Beerus. And in the Goku black arc, In the manga, the supreme Kai says that Vegito Blue is stronger than Beerus, but Zamasu holds his own against Vegito Blue in the anime. And Orange piccolo was stated to be as strong as Goku from the TOP who apparently now isn't as strong as Beerus. Also I want to add that when Toppo says that Jiren is stronger than Belmod he specifically says "based on battle power alone" does this mean he isn't factoring in Belmod's destruction? Also Granolah and Gas were both wished to be the strongest, but Toronbo specifies that doesn't include the Gods, but they both get way stronger. And as far as Moro goes, Goku literally states he's the strongest guy he's ever fought, and that was after fighting Jiren, Broly, and Beerus. Honestly Dragonball's power scaling is a mess right now

He can't tap into Super Saiyan reliably. But if he's pushed to the brink and his life is threatened his survival instincts will kick in and he will do anything to survive including becoming a Super Saiyan.

The wish not accounting broly full power could be very true given with Gas specific wish he kept aging and growing in power everytime goku and vegeta grew in power, and we see with Freiza he did the same thing when freiza popped black, Gas wish aged him to make him surpass black freiza but Gas was already to old that wish basically aged to him till he was nothing but bones, basically wishe power killed gas, not freiza punching a hole in him which at state goku and vegeta state he walking corpse at that point and was shown fine have his flesh removed
Based on this chapter Broly outscales UE Vegeta meaning he more than likely outscales MUI Goku as well
