After many years, I'm glad this new chapter gave subtle confirmation that Broly didn't get super powercrept by Goku and Vegeta. The fact that his base form even in a state where he's suppressing himself still rivals Goku and Vegeta's SSJ forms is so telling of his current power post-Granolah
Broly has a bigger step to take, he has to control his rage in addition to controlling Super Saiyan. Maybe this would be easier by handling Ikari first, as most Saiyans lose control while in the form of great ape, and maybe that will be easier on Broly, and he'll control SSJ easier, because SSJ does not affect your mental state as drastically as Great Ape or Ikari would.
Super Saiyan is a form derived from Anger, broly can draw his anger to turn super Saiyan but in doing so he snaps losing his sense of self he is trying to draw on his anger to access all his power ( since anger is the source of Super Saiyan it also empowers it ) without Snapping this is what Broly said "this is tricky" to, Goku himself implies that Broly can turn SSJ because he said "we" RevoluShane is simply coping by saying Broly can't turn ssj.

I see training like a linear increase, with just different qualities of training giving different finite values per day lets say. Thats why the multipliers of forms are so significant. I also see the potential of each character to multiply how much lets say power level they gain each day from their training and how effective their previous training was say when a character gets a potential unlock. Over an extremly long period of training like years if you train every day you'd still be stronger than those with higher potential like Gohan. I see the super saiyan and its variations as a method of tapping deeper into a saiyans potential and even INCREASING a saiyans potential temporarily at the expense of energy and this is what causes the large multiplier. Thats also why even if super saiyan god is only twice as strong as super saiyan 3, which is an egregious lowball but just for food for thought, I still think goku could consider it to be a "whole new world" opening up to him. Lets say he has a power level of ten billion in base post buu saga which I dont even think is that innacurate of an estimate, well training on king kai's planet and gaining a linear power level of like one thousand every day isn't going to move the needle for him. but going god and it being twice as strong as his super saiyan 3 form, it would be like having a base of 20 billion now. Which is huge compared to the thousand every day from before. See where im going with this? I think this is an important concept this fanbase should explore sooner rather than later if they dont want to get shocked and offended when the guidebook comes out. They should also look towards and consider the multiple universal feats and scaling from the anime buu saga and how the super saiyan god feat is a tad bit overhyped, but still significant.

Yeah there was actually a lot of hints that Broly couldn't go ssj at will. Wave I also agree with the smaller power creeps theory. Fact is Toriyama said Super Hero is canon to BoG and RoF. I think if you’re going to say something is “confirmed”, you need to be very specific. It’s not confrontational that he “can’t” turn super saiyan. It’s confirmed that he can turn super saiyan without losing his mind and going into a rage. Reason being, if he can’t turn Super Saiyan that would mean it’s simply not a factor in a battle between him and a strong opponent. But we all know, if say Black Frieza shows up and start applying the beats to him or Cheelai, he’s going to turn Super Saiyan. And you acknowledge that in this video that it’s necessary he just can’t do it. So I don’t know why you ended the video by saying it’s “confirmed” he can’t “deal with it” lol
Long standing theory that was refuted by 99% of people therefore it was a dispute. He can not turn super saiyan reliably and that was portrayed in this chapter. Most people assumed he could just go Ssj at will and reliably, which is not the case therefore it was confirmed. Not sure why you are making an issue of this tbh.

If the argument is he can't turn Super Sayian at all, I disagree. Even in the terminology, saying he can't do it "reliably". That's not the same as he can't do it all together. One would indicate it can happen under certain circumstances, the other that it can't happen at all. It's just nuance, not really that big a deal. Not really sure why it bothers you so much🤷🏿♂️

If he in a fight and not actively suppressing himself to not get angry, he will get angry, and will eventually turn Super Saiyan. The original legend of the Super Saiyan was an unstoppable warrior born once every 1000 years, who destroyed their home world with their own power. that seems much more like a broly or a kale than a Goku who's SSJ power was never really a threat to anything, and the 1000 years thing is cap because anyone can become a regular SSJ with the right situation, while Green Haired SSJ seems to be a mutation thats very rare.
Im not arguing that Toriyama's original intent wasn't to have regular SSJ be the form of legend, but thats clearly changed. the Broly movie and now DBS has clearly decided that the green haired form with uncontrollable power is the actual SSJ of legend born every 1000 years, and it fits far better with how SSJ was originally seen in the legend.

After many years, I'm glad this new chapter gave subtle confirmation that Broly didn't get super powercrept by Goku and Vegeta. The fact that his base form even in a state where he's suppressing himself still rivals Goku and Vegeta's SSJ forms is so telling of his current power post-Granolah
Broly has a bigger step to take, he has to control his rage in addition to controlling Super Saiyan. Maybe this would be easier by handling Ikari first, as most Saiyans lose control while in the form of great ape, and maybe that will be easier on Broly, and he'll control SSJ easier, because SSJ does not affect your mental state as drastically as Great Ape or Ikari would.
Super Saiyan is a form derived from Anger, broly can draw his anger to turn super Saiyan but in doing so he snaps losing his sense of self he is trying to draw on his anger to access all his power ( since anger is the source of Super Saiyan it also empowers it ) without Snapping this is what Broly said "this is tricky" to, Goku himself implies that Broly can turn SSJ because he said "we" RevoluShane is simply coping by saying Broly can't turn ssj.

I see training like a linear increase, with just different qualities of training giving different finite values per day lets say. Thats why the multipliers of forms are so significant. I also see the potential of each character to multiply how much lets say power level they gain each day from their training and how effective their previous training was say when a character gets a potential unlock. Over an extremly long period of training like years if you train every day you'd still be stronger than those with higher potential like Gohan. I see the super saiyan and its variations as a method of tapping deeper into a saiyans potential and even INCREASING a saiyans potential temporarily at the expense of energy and this is what causes the large multiplier. Thats also why even if super saiyan god is only twice as strong as super saiyan 3, which is an egregious lowball but just for food for thought, I still think goku could consider it to be a "whole new world" opening up to him. Lets say he has a power level of ten billion in base post buu saga which I dont even think is that innacurate of an estimate, well training on king kai's planet and gaining a linear power level of like one thousand every day isn't going to move the needle for him. but going god and it being twice as strong as his super saiyan 3 form, it would be like having a base of 20 billion now. Which is huge compared to the thousand every day from before. See where im going with this? I think this is an important concept this fanbase should explore sooner rather than later if they dont want to get shocked and offended when the guidebook comes out. They should also look towards and consider the multiple universal feats and scaling from the anime buu saga and how the super saiyan god feat is a tad bit overhyped, but still significant.

The only characters exempted from the Wish are the Angels this is why Granola and Gas don't have ultra instinct and we never see them use it but we do see them use Hakai and Moro's abilities, Moro is dead he isn't in the living universe.

Or anyone he knows of, Goku already knows how strong Broly is at max level, the characters retain the memories of the fusion we see this in DB Manga so your argument doesn't work, Goku knows how strong Broly is that's a fact, yet he is asking Whis if he knows someone stronger than himself. Broly is stronger than ever Whis said so this chapter he is making insane progress, Broly has access to all his power only coppers think otherwise the downside to accessing all his power is him snapping that's what they are working on in this very arc.

I think if you’re going to say something is “confirmed”, you need to be very specific. It’s not confrontational that he “can’t” turn super saiyan. It’s confirmed that he can turn super saiyan without losing his mind and going into a rage. Reason being, if he can’t turn Super Saiyan that would mean it’s simply not a factor in a battle between him and a strong opponent. But we all know, if say Black Frieza shows up and start applying the beats to him or Cheelai, he’s going to turn Super Saiyan. Long standing theory that was refuted by 99% of people therefore it was a dispute. He can not turn super saiyan reliably and that was portrayed in this chapter. Most people assumed he could just go Ssj at will and reliably, which is not the case therefore it was confirmed.

Goku and Vegeta had surpassed Broly long ago in the Granolah arc and now even tho he can turn super saiyan with a trigger, he can't find it so for the meantime he can't, that still doesn't matter as Goku, Vegeta and Granolah were the strongest in the Granolah arc stated by Toyotaro, characters in the arc and stated by whis who witnessed Broly's power up close(anime) or from a close/a far(manga) unless u have proof of current Broly being stronger than Granolah Goku and Vegeta, potential obviously goes to Broly but that's nowhere near enough to make Broly being stronger than current Goku and Vegeta a fact.
