@@brakecheck5354 I LOVE all of my 12v Dewalts. I prefer them to my 20v. Mainly because I have smaller hands and arthritis so they are perfect. Light and less fatigue. The power always keeps up with whatever I’m using them for.
the screwdriver is definitely my favorite category of these things 🤝 I have the 12v Hilti screwdriver and it's helped fix sooo many plastic items without ever stripping a single screw. It has become so incredibly highly used by everyone that it became the _one_ tool that I actually keep inside permanently available. Heck I even drive cakemixer whisks with mine and it's been used for a LOT of cooking. And it has fixed hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of large equipment That dewalt screwdriver: best birthday gift idea, I'd be the weirdo who'd give one to everybody xD
Just order one today! My dcf610 just went dead and I need these screwdriver for work! I had the dcf610 for 11 years and have use it 5 days a week and never changed any of the batteries! One thing I like about this newer version is that it as brushless motor!
Thanks for the review I'm happy that you Is actually testing the clutch Nobody actually does that I'm looking for something that the clutch actually works on and you did
So far I am happy with the drill. I do use the variable clutch settings for different circumstances. And it has come in very handy. Thank you for commenting and consider subscribing.
The item is great, the downside is the long skinny screwdriver one the you would add to this is an 8 volt. No one was thinking that day in the engineer office
Great video. Thanks. Help my choice. I am chosing the dewalt 601f2 xtreme over the milwaukee 12volt 2402 fuel. Better torque control, led lighting and STANDS UP! :- )
I love this tool. 1.5 lbs. superb mechanical clutch. Ring light is really nice. It’s not for building a deck, but it could. One handed bit changes. Tiny and lightweight. Great ergonomics, directional sense without even looking. M12 is too fat, it’s difficult to develop a directional sense. And, dewalt’s bright yellow is easier to see than that red stuff that Milwaukee uses.
Awesome video! Very helpful! My old school dewalt screwdriver batteries just now not holding charge. Loved it, form factor, etc. I guess pistol grip is only real option now. I don’t think I would like the gyro
Thank you for the comment. I agree, the form factor is great and by far the most comfortable drill I’ve used. I did also look at the Gyro version but decided not to. I’m glad I went with this one. Consider subscribing!
I think a good point to add is the changing of batteries on the m12 tools, they are very difficult to pinch both tabs and get battery out.As a person with arthritis the dewalt batteries are a breeze, I love this extreme line up so well I have bought all the tools they have available and now use these daily over my dewalt xr set. The ergonomics are great and tools are so compact and light and at same time plenty of power. You wont get the run time you would with xr tools but if your doing doing overhead work or on a ladder they are indispensible.
Would this be a nice screwdriver for the Rc hobby for putting in lots of screws building trucks or whatever? Hand screw drivers get very tiring and your hands get sore and chewed up. Thanks
So I bought the M12 screwdriver (less power than the impact) myself and ended up returning it for the DeWALT XTREME screwdriver for 2 reasons. 1, was too powerful for delicate. 2, I didn’t like the grip. In my opinion it might be an overkill to use an impact driver. At least with the Milwaukee M12 screwdriver, you have control with the electronic clutch.
I definitely use it for woodworking. If I was using it for commercial work I would consider probably going to a 20 V for a little bit more power. But definitely works with woodworking perfectly and easily. Thanks for commenting consider giving me a thumbs up and subscribe!
I just ordered to go with my 12v impact and drill.
Hello Matt here, just wanted to say that I have just subscribed and found this video very helpful and interesting.
I’m so excited. I just bought this set. Screwdriver, 2 batteries, charger, and bag for $90. Brand new.
Haven’t used it yet but can’t wait.
Nice find for $90! I can’t find that kit right now for less than $120. How has your experience with it been?

Very good review specially the looks all around the tool and specs like weight. Make more👍

lol. Regarding what you do with the instructions 😎
Also thanks for explaining why you returned your Milwaukee Fuel screwdriver, helpful vid 👍🏽
Great video. Thanks. Help my choice.

The DeWalt battery indicator is the best. You don't have to plug your battery into a pool just to see if it's almost dead or not
Nice review. Was looking for a handy small driver.

The form factor is one of the reasons I’m strongly considering this product over the Milwaukee m12, Bosch, and Hercules 12v equivalents.

Me too. RA. I use log tongs to remove the batteries from my 2 Ryobi 18v tools. I'll never buy a 3rd.
I couldn’t agree more bro

im an electrician and this is great for precision work in my field. should be a piece of cake for rc stuff.
on setting 1 or 2 you can install the tiniest of screws with ease, this a very versatile tool I love mine for cabinet hinge screws
Thanks for the reply. I already bought one of these and yeah they work nice.?
Does anyone know if this has been on sale before?
Yes, that part of a bundle or an itself at Lowe’s home improvement. July 4th coming up
I have m12 fuel impact driver, do you think for electronics and delicate work I should get it or it's still an overkill?

@@COR0NAD0 Thank you, I'll keep an eye for the dewalt I like it more.
Would you use this or the impact driver for wood working? I can’t decide lol.

Thanks for the fast reply! I’m picking this up today to see if I like it more. Thanks again.
Will the 20v max battery work with this, or would it be too much power?
Hey thanks for commenting. I will look into this and see if it is inter-changeable. Consider giving me a thumbs up and subscribing.
20 volt batteries do not work with this. But you can charge the 12v batteries in the Dewalt 20 volt charger.
Dewalt offers the 12v 5 amp batteries for more power.
Is the charger rated for 110 V or 110-220V?
I love everything about your video, except you didn’t mentioned how much you actually paid for it at Lowe’s.
