Have it for few weeks now, as a woodworker, I'm so glad I bought it in December. Usually I use an 18v impact driver DCF850 to drive screws. After using the DCD703, I realize that my impact driver is way to overpowered for my needs, driving less than 38mm screws. As you mention, It's lightweight is a bliss. It's handle is way more comfortable than the beefy 12v Bosch/Milwaukee, because I have small hands. Must have tools for every woodworker.
I couldn’t agree more, still one of my favourite most used tools! 👊🏼 I can also recommend the DeWalt 12v multitool… just like the 18v, just smaller and lighter so gets into gaps easier. 😊
Honestly, I think your annoyance will be forgotten when you see how light this drill is with the 12v battery compared to 18v. Plus it comes with 2 12v batteries in the kit. 👌🏼😉
Hiya, no personal experience with the Hilti but know they are high quality tools. Use the DeWalt daily and no complaints, does everything I need it to 👍🏼. On paper very similar specs and identical attachments, is the £100 extra for the Hilti worth it?🤔 personally no, but if you have a Hilti account you could probably get it cheaper.
Hi David. The 12v platform is a separate system from 18v so won’t be compatible. 12v 3ah battery is about half the size and weight of 18v equivalent which obviously saves weight for the 12v tools. This kit includes 2x 12v 3ah batteries which just seem to run and run! Any other questions, let me know. 👍🏼😁

Thanks for your comment… appreciated! 👍🏼😊
Just got the kit for £172 on ffx can't wait to use it ! 👌
Hope you enjoy it! It’s a fantastic bit of kit… and I also found ffx was the best price! 🤩
Thanks for the review mate!
Thanks for the comment Jeff. Glad you found it useful! 👍🏼😄
I would have bought one by now if it was 18v but a separate battery system seems a bit annoying

Great review Chris, looks neat. 👊🏻
Thanks Dan! Really is a clever piece of kit! ⭐️😄
In the4 USA it comes in a DeWalt bag, not a plastic box.
Have you had the chance to use the Hilti 12v multi head tool? I’m currently debating between the hilti or the dewalt…

Nice review 👌. Thx 👊✌️
Glad you liked it ! 😄👊🏼
Does this include an impact driver?
Nope, this kit is just the multi head drill driver. Though there is a separate 12v impact in the range.
I picked up mine in Canada for $180.00 . Came with tool bag and 2 amp battery
Is that around £150? That’s a decent price, I think batteries are a big part of the cost. How are you finding the drill? 🤔
Can you still use the 18v battery in it? 💙
