    Mitre corners are so hard for me. You have shown us a way to do them that is so much simpler than the way I’ve been doing them. I’m going to try your ways on the next napkins I make. Thank you!

    You read my mind with this video! I make reusable items & I was making some napkins but I couldn't get my corner sharp enough. That trick with the needle I think is exactly what I need!

    Hello downtown tailoring! I’ve learned so much from you thank you!! I do alterations from my home and I need to buy a steamer. I do a lot of bridesmaids dresses prom dresses and wedding gowns. What type of steamer do you use? I was told Jiffy steamers are good. Do you have any experience with those? I’ve been using a steamer someone gave me that they bought from Macy’s

    Can you tell me more about the iron you are using? It seems to have a unique hanger. Thank you.

    • @DowntownTailoring
      @DowntownTailoring  3 года назад

      Sure! It's a semi industrial steamer and it's great.

    Where do you buy the ban roll? Is it a tear away stabilizer?

    • @DowntownTailoring
      @DowntownTailoring  3 года назад

      The ban-roll is more like a waistband stabilizer. You can get it at Wawak.

    Beautiful job. My sewing machine will not obey me, and the bobbin tension cannot be adjusted. It was a new design that was flawed. I fought the machine for years until finally, it won, and I stopped sewing.
