I'm a TR guy. Just learned about KCap ammo the other day. It's amazing. I went from losing fights due to bullet spread to winning them from a few leg shots.
I think attachments need a rework. Someone on Reddit recently pointed out that there's a striking lack of attachment options with Vanu Assault Rifles, especially underbarrel attachments, for apparently no reason. Many weapons that are clearly underperforming also lack compensators and other basic attachments that would help them a bit.
The devs believe in equality of outcome in order to push vets to underperforming factions. Either that, or they are very incompetent or apathetic. Regardless, asking for changes without addressing the underlying reason won't help.
I really want the recon bolts on the crossbow bolts buffed. If they lasted about 20 seconds with perhaps a smaller radius, then they'd be actually useful without undermining the Infiltrator's proper darts.
I ran KCAP Ammo for a while and it was very good. Shooting the Legs is a way better Target than the Head is, but it does not feel right to play like that. I would say that when I aim for the Head, I HS with every 4th Bullet. When I aim for the Legs(Balls), I have a nearly 100% Hitchance. And you can't miss the Target if your Bullets fly too high, as you would if you aim for the Head. Well, this is from the Perspective of a highly mobile main Light Assault.
Nagi with extended mag, compusator, 2x scope. congrats you now have a bullet hose that if you play passive-aggressive with or just passive they're are few other weapons that can do a better job than it. Seriously I've mowed down entire crowds with this LMG on a single mag it's great.
Honestly, it's an underrated attachment especially now that pump-actions were nerfed. They deal 1300 dmg at point blank and you can switch to them almost immediately. Still not amazing due to only having 1 shot and a long reload animation, but great meme value nonetheless.
Zelous . What do you mean soft point ammo increases your damage profile at It just increases a maximum damage range by 5 m so it's more useful on 167 , 125 dmg guns. High velocity ammo extends your minimum damage range so it extend the range at you can deal a 250 dmg headshot by a considerable amount .. It also makes the TTK slightly shorter since all the bullets take slightly less time to hit thier target as well
A 10% increase in bullet travel speed leads to a very negligible decrease in TTK. Like, almost completely irrelevant. What he means by increasing damage profile is that SPA is a flat increase to CQC damage with no damage decrease at range, while HVA decreases your CQC damage at a certain range. HVA is only good on weapons that you would not normally use within their maximum damage range.
@@agnosticpanda6655 HVA is good for weapons with 125 minimum damage because it's a 4 headshot kill regardless of the range. The velocity increase isn't needed for TTK, but for ease of use at long ranges. If you can get a gun up to above 600m/s, which is sniper rifle level velocity, you can get kills at ranges that you shouldn't be able to. It gives you a strict advantage at any engagements that happen outside or in bases with long sight lines. Someone running a CQC weapon literally can't compete with you.
i see looks like on last versions comments buged you enough to redo it ;). Can genuinely agree with everything said. As a note for things you forgot ubgl are also pretty decent as a AV option dealing 500 light anti vehicle dmg (same dmg typ as the halberd) its pretty decent as pocket rocket launcher for non heavys with its main restriction being the low ammo count, you forgot the underbarrel shotgun which by the way also havent been hit by the shotgun nerfs making it the strongest shotgun when it comes to 1 shotting but still mainly just a fun thing to play around rather than anything meta with the execption being the aurax carbines with jetpacks where you dont need the impulse nades, also flashlights still work when it comes to revealing infils and iam personaly actualy using it, on my pilot loadout on the baron in case i enouncter someone kd shitting by flying as infil, thats like the one use case that i could name for it, well i guess showing your enemy your position and finding stalker mains who annoyed you in low pop fights can also work as use case but that about it. You also havent coverd explosive bolts on the crossbow, like skipping incendary i can understand but i would argue that explosive bolts have more uses than detection bolts at least, well depends i guess if you do a lot of squad based point holding with nobody willing to play infil i guess detections bolts can be more usefull for you. And yeah funny thing if you thing about it kcap has a similar concept than unstable which is increasing your weapons performance in cases where you are not very accurate in exchange for a lower optimal ttk, making kcap kinda like a pseudo unstable for tr but at the moment kcap is just more of a straight up downside in most situations even while hipfiring making just a bad budget version of unstable. And also you havent coverd stuff like disruptor ammo on other nc weapons as that is an option or manticore ammo on vs or the BX adapter aka the broomstick on the Jackal on tr or weighted reciever on the daimyo some scouts and semi snipes and the aurax snipes which is actualy an amazing attachment for those weapons, exepction again being the eidolon and the faction equivalents because moving accuracy on these scouts is already very very good and using the ubgl on these scouts to get a pocket launcher is usualy the better option. if you talk about these special attachments like detection darts or the thumper ammo why not like all of em, lashing ammo being another example and while most of these attachments are unique to specific guns or just not realy worth using like kcap, lashing or disruptor ammo you still talked about thumper ammo and detection bolts, i would assume because those are the things you got experience on which is the reason why they are on your radar or you dont want to make the video 30 min long thinking about what you said about attachment videos you seen being to long ;). Anyway your selection of special ammo types seem very random, like skipping not so important ones ok but if you talk about detection darts atleast quickly go over the other 2 dart options as well. Making a video to fly over every basic attachment and a seperate video to go over every special wierd or non meta attachment would be an option but if you just want to metion the most relevant attachment options thumper ammo wouldnt be something making it in this list, atleast in my opinion. kcap would be making it in for me though just to trashtalk on how bad it is xD which actualy also makes it kinda relevant for the recommandation of not using it. Again props for reading through another book, i may think of some titles if i write more of those
Yeah but it's really trash relative to laser, basically in the past stalker infiltrators had a niche of backcapping while invs, which is why flash used to be good. Now its basically useless because stalker infiltrator is neutered into irrelevancy for the sake of 'game health'.

I primarily run scout rifles, so the 3.4x and a laser is all I need. In case of the Dragoon, the single-fire barrel as well.
