Hello Zealous, can u do a "Meta" gun tierlist or maybe one rommended weapon for each faction, or begginers weapon to invest on like attachments and stuff like that
TL;DR Score is what gives you certs Low pop - Support high pop - aggressive if you cannot effectively farm certs through combat, mine ore, deposit ore into silos, if there aren't any near ore you can: Passively - somewhere at the edge of map, place a silo next to bunch of ore and farm without moving an inch Actively - find a spot at / near enemy territory that isn't overrun with enemies, and build there - if you have somebody harrasing you just message them to bother you later, when there's something to destroy - worked for me 2/3 times
My personal method is running around in the backline as stalker cloak with a revolver, double tapping people in the back of the head, hacking terminals, and leaving claymores in the most traveled areas. It's not the fastest, but it's so easy if you can land your shots, and it's both fun and pads your stats. Also makes the entire lobby hate you :)
As an infantry player, most of the time you won't need to worry too much for certs, just aurax the weapon one by one, after you aurax your weapon, you almost for sure to have more than enough certs to unlock another one.
I barely reached gold directives on 2 categories of weapon for auraxia and amount of certs I spent on gun is quite high. That is without investing any money. I have more than 20 guns purchased already on top of fully buffed all passive slots. And that is ignoring that I am not that good player. Doing dailies is mostly enough to get a lot of certs and of course trying to get as much full alerts as possible.
A big thing to keep in mind and what I struggle with is not switching play styles when battle changes, like running medic recon flash or repair engi even though there are no close quarters farms or maxes etc
There's an implant increasing resist shield duration and making shield regen while resist shield is on , you pair that with naginata and nason's defiance and get a huge kpm , I suggest compensator and handle grip to only hit headshots , you can go for more magazine capacity it's really good too
A big thing I do is play turret engi and get lots of assists, or smoke underbarrel with thermal scope as engi so I can infinitely smoke and always see enemies. As a 0.4KD player, these to strategies always swing the fights in my favor.
For most of my friend who first play this game i told them get a ant or i will give them my full upgraded ant, so they can run around and looking for bunch of cortium, fill the silo then remember to remove that full silo so cortium can respawn again. (especially work when x2 buff active). Second way for farming certs for me personally is jump on someone MBT help him farm kill/repair they can learn the battle flow and still earn alot of certs.
Imo the "best" cert gain is doing the daily missions, some are garbage but lots of them are good and its the "best" because its not so much farming certs as just playing the game in different ways so they both get you to try different playstyles/weapons, which is good, and the rewards are also really good even after the nerf. Key point is to NOT cash them in right away, you can save them for later after finishing them. Then if you are a member you wait for the monthly double xp before you cash in on the missions but even if you are not a member its still very much worth saving the missions for either a alert + defender/attacker xp bonus or when a new continent opens after the alert. If you are quick to switch to the newly opened continent you are getting the maximum amount of bonus xp for being underpopulated until after a while the server updates the statistics on the continent. Afaik all the xp bonuses and double xp stuff increases both the pure xp rewards from the missions which is then converted into certs but also the actual cert rewards, so a +50% bonus is quite a bit of extra per mission. Being a member and cashing in two or three days worth of missions during double xp is literally thousands of certs. At least I think its definitely worth dedicating like an hour or so on focusing a bit on the missions, even without membership since there are ways to boost the bonus xp with alerts, defending/attacking a base and being underpop.
@@SethanderWald I also recommend cashing them in on a newly opened continent like I wrote before, alerts give +25% but the population bonus for being "underpop" on a newly opened continent for a few minutes is +50%(for everyone since it takes a while for it to update!). If you are feeling adventurous you can also try to redeploy to a Techlab/Biolab/Amp for +15%(defensive bonus I think its called?) aaaand join a squad for some possible squad/member boosts. With some luck you can as a non-member get +65% or more depending on the squad boosts but its obviously quite a lot of bonus certs already at +50-65%. One of the main benefits of the membership, the +50% and now recently, higher mission rewards, is especially powerful for this reason as you get a higher base reward but also quite easily a +100% or more on the modifier, doubling it, then double it again on the monthly double xp event.
@@pedrolima6553 Yep I really dont understand what the devs are doing, devaluing the membership like this when it was already questionable if it was a ok deal or not. Tbh I was about to cancel my sub when they announced the changes and the only reason I have not is simply because Im a idiot that cares about the game and pays for it, quite literally!
i dont like the "farming" mentality the game has developed, getting farmed is the least fun you can have in any pvp game, and its a sft guarantee to drive out new or returning players
@@ZealousVidya yeah, it's a strange balance for daybreak, trying to hold on to players but not make the game almost impossible for fresh players. I just miss the proper zergs and the time before the leyline system haha
When you get into the Oshur unstable sinkhole of hell the best thing you can do for XP IMO is keep a Sundy up. Even if it means driving back constantly, mirror bay is the only fight and those spawns get blown up constantly.
@@Sol-gl3nl You get bigger chunks the more that come out and when the get kills. And 5 xp a spawn when 40 dudes are jumping out into a meatgrinder is more than a little bit.
Go to empty continent. Find 35K cortiums and place cortium storage next to it. Use latency bug on your top gun to harvest and deposit from your main harvester at the same time = 150K sph.
Another thing that helps is placing turrets/ai modules on other player's bases. Takes 2 minutes, then you can go about your business elsewhere and get the occasional kills from the other side of the map. :)
That red symbol near implant after you killed some players without dying, if i keep it that (let's say 3x) until my faction win alert, do i get multiplier cert? you get around 100 certs if your faction win alert right?
want certs? play NSO. you'll get certs even if you lose the alert. And since you're placed with the faction with the lowest pop all battlefronts are going to be full of targets that you can pick off with smg infil or tons of rez as medic or flak people as light assault.
Talks about how to farm certs. Says to revive as medic. Plays as a medic in his footage. Doesn't revive in his own gameplay. Going only for kills (and views ?). Thanks for the tip.
ok no but for real the best place to get certs as medic is at nason’s revenge (i think, whatever the centre base is on hossin) and just walk into the tunnels down there and revive people. It works even better when your team is securely holding the north side and B point; that side of the tunnels is the worst of it so you get more corpses to revive
Wait ! Wait ! Wait ! Wait ! WHAT?! Your map shows wich faction is actually fighting at a place?! I see the fighting animations at the begenning of the video are coloured !!! Mine are orange ! Yours are red, blue and violet ! 😱 Can somebody please tell me where is this option? 😳 I love your vids ! Thanks for sharing all those tips.
I feel like "Quickest way to Cert Farm" was never even told/ answered, besides lots of obvious answers. Do better as infantry,(you don't say?) play medic, etc. Not too informative...

Could you tell me pls how you got your ingame icons so big?
Wow! So 8 minutes to say.... just play the game and get good. This was awful man!
Kills per minute is all fine and dandy but its score per minute. In low population times play support, in high pop times play more aggressive

Level up Medic's Triage, level up a Flash's Scout Radar, drive your Flash to a crowded area, ???, profit.
my advice to ppl ive brought to the game, is just play the game have fun and forget they exist you will have what you need b4 u know it

Just play on the faction with the lowest pop and get that sweet xp bonus
