Sachindra Sanyal wrote the same petition like Savarkar did and he was released. But did he stop his revolutionary activities? Never. He was jailed again and again. He escaped again and again through legal ways. Finally British put him in a cramped cell with a dying tuberculosis patient and he was infected as well.
Repeated petitions by him was rejected and when it was clear he won't survive the disease, he was released and he died.
Savarkar must be compared to this. Savarkar was not even relased because they knew how dangerous he was.
Those mercy petitions were the only way to escape the hell of Kalapani.
Now judging our selfless revolutionaries sitting is air conditioned room is just rude.

@@utkarshgaur. And tell the believers from among the women to lower their gaze and protect their private parts and not to display their beauty except for what is apparent from her, and to draw their veils over their bosoms’ surah- al-Nur : 31
The word used to cover their head is khumur which is the plural form of khimar. Khimar refers to head covering which is commonly used by the Arabs. And here Allah tells the Prophet to instruct the women to draw their head coverings to also cover their bosoms.
However one must note that the instruction about modesty first is given to Muslim men. The men are first asked to lower their gaze. So it is imperative that men control themselves first. The next command goes to the women and about covering themselves. The instruction is given to the women, not men. So men has no business policing the dress of women. Men’s duty is to lower the gaze.
The hijab/khimar is part of the religion of Islam. But it doesn’t make one out of the religion just because she doesn’t wear one. And men are not suppose to harass ladies who are not wearing a hijab. Our duty is to lower our gaze and control ourselves.

13:39 she calls herself historians 😂 she omitted so much about history and that's the issue with these frauds
    1) Savarkar was send to 50 years of jail for torture not for vacation. 2)Britishers said in their investigation that he was biggest threat for them
    3) shame on her for comparison of Bhagat Singh and Veer savarkar.
    4) savarkar for Bhagat Singh was one of the biggest inspiration.
This is what Bhagat Singh wrote about savarkar 15 and 22 November 1924, Matwala, Vishwa Prem
[The one who loves this world is that braveheart, whom we don’t feel ashamed to call as a fierce insurgent and a fanatic anarchist - this is the Veer (brave) Savarkar,”]
    5) Britishers deliberately didn't kill savarkar as they didn't want to make him martyr
    6) Bhagat Singh translated veer savarkars book 2nd edition and it was like gita or bible for revolutionaries
    6) Britishers admit that they make mistake by hanging Bhagat Singh
She his the problem why people hate these darbari historians.

While Ruchika is a competent medieval historian, she is not equally strong on modern Indian history. Savarkar was not sent to the penal colony for seditious writing. He was convicted for the conspiracy to murder AMT Jackson, the British Collector of Nasik. The British were very very harsh in punishing political violence especially when it came to the killing of a British officer. The same principle applies to this day, in free India, where political violence or even suspicion of political violence is harshly punished. Secondly, the two interlocutors are abysmally ignorant about the forms of salutation prevailing in those days. The term " your obedient servant" was very commonly used in Victorian English and earlier. It did not signify subservience or abasement as it is nowadays believed. In fact, George Washington and Abraham Lincoln often signed with "your obedient and humble servant" as did many British luminaries in their letters. Savarkar cannot be faulted on this ground. Instead, he should be judged by his subsequent actions of collaboration with the British, and not participating in the freedom struggle, and for very strong grounds to believe that he was a part of the conspiracy to murder the Mahatma as established by the Kapoor Commission of enquiry.

Islamic methodology:- Muslims use Quran as primary source then muslims take hadith which is historic documentation of prophet Muhammad and his companion. Everything mentioned in Quran cannot be rejected even single word, the moment any muslim rejects anything from Quran he lefts the position of being muslim. Then to understand any verse from Quran muslims look at the time of prophet Muhammad (hadith) and the context which was going then and the reason why that verse in Quran which he/she want to understand exists. After understanding the historic background then he/she looks what scholars have understood from that verse and then we have the complete understanding of that one verse.

She is very rudimentary in her knowledge of Savarkar For starters She claims there is no documentation of the “Marseilles incident “ which referred to Savarkar escaping from the ship to the shores of France Not only is there newspaper reports but official documentation between two International governments ( France and England )
Comparing him to other great revolutionaries is silly as they all fought for freedom in different ways ( Gandhi with non violence, Bhagat Singh thro martyrdom, Savarkar thro underground revolutionary network , Bose with the INA)
In Kala pani as was the norm you could apply for petition to be released He did that 6 times not 9 as she claims and not only for himself but for a lot of other prisoners as well since he was a lawyer and could use the legal language in those days In most of these he has stated that if his presence was holding up other prisoners release then they should be released and it would give him as much pleasure as his own would have. The British never trusted him and kept in tortuous solitary confinement
Savarkar was a poet, novelist, writer, playwright, historian and a revolutionary freedom fighter who sacrificed a lot for India. As children, we grew up learning lessons of his bravery in our history. He established Indias first underground revolutionary network the Abhinav Bharat It had branches all over the world including England For his revolutionary methods, the British sentenced him to 50 years of imprisonment in Andaman's Cellular Jail where he was made to undergo rigorous solitary confinement for several months, standing handcuffs and hell like torture (released with limited freedoms after serving 13 torturous years in prison). But his spirit never died. In Cellular prison, he composed and wrote poetries on prison walls with thorns and pebbles when the British were merciless and even denied him pen and paper. His poems like Sagara pran talmalala (O Great Sea, My Heart Aches for the Motherland), Jayostute (written in praise of freedom) are very inspiring and demonstrate the kind of love he had for his motherland.
His books include “ 1857 ..The First Indian War of for Independence, which the British had earlier referred to as the "Sepoy Mutiny", changed the way history was written Large part of his literature is dedicated to mother India, the land he deeply loved.
A forward thinking Indian who fought caste orthodoxy with a lot of ruthlessness. A humanist and one of the first Indian political leaders to build a pan-Hindu temple where a former 'untouchable' was a priest. A Nationalist who exhorted India to make atomic bombs and believed it was ridiculous and irrational to follow astrology when Russians and Americans were striving to land on the Moon and Mars. A rationalist who refused to consider cow as holy and chose to call it only a very useful animal. An environmentalist who considered cremation in electric crematoriums more clean and efficient (eco-friendly in modern terms). For all the sacrifices he made, India popularly refers to him as 'Swatantryaveer' Savarkar, or simply Veer.

Savarkar also justified rape of Muslim women as a political tool. In his book he wrote: "Our molestation shall be avenged on Muslim women".
At the end of his life Savarkar wrote a book in Marathi, Six Glorious Epochs of Hindu History. FULL of HISTORICALLY INACCURATE GENERALISATIONS that essentialise whole communities, the book reserves particular venom for Muslim ‘demons’ as the catalysts for the downfall of Hindu glory. He saw religion as actually playing a very small part of his wider political project and therefore it is important to separate Hinduism from Hindutva: the project of creating a Hindu Nation.

This is how i understand, there are 3 types of secularism based on the context of their prevailing culture.
    1. No religion - communist countries like china.
    2. No interference or state is different from religious affairs - western countries
    3. Equal promotion of religion by state - Indian secularism.
That is the reason the Indian constitution allows every religion to preach ,practice and have their own religious affairs.
We will never get our constitution correct if we compare ourselves with the western context of constitutionalism. We as a society are much different from western society. Our DIVERSITY is one of the biggest reasons , whether it is cultural, religious, linguistics, ethnicity etc.

National culture hota hai ek region ka culture or woh region ek country ke form me bhi exist kar sakta hai... Simple
Bhai angrez yeh koi or bhi jab india ko dekhta hai toh usko kya pata chalta hai as indian culture???
Hindu culture hi milta hai na usse??
Musalmano yeh non dharmik ka cultures toh nhi kehta as Indian culture!!!

Comparing Bhagat Singh with Savarkar on every sentence demeans both. Bhagat Singh read savarakars books. The man spent 27 years in jail for fighting for the country , stopping it after coming out of jail doesn’t make his efforts any less. Compared Dr. Ruchika he served the nation well. Part of his ideology is ruling the country currently. And it’s still going strong.
