Today is my report for our PR II and the task that is given to me is to discuss about the types of descriptive Statistics. Your discussion sir is really Helpful to me, I can now explain it to my classmates about the process on How to get this frequency distribution step by step. Thank you sir❤️
You can get your class interval by subtracting your highest value to the lowest value then divide it by the number of classes (k). K is obtained by using the Sturge’s Rule. K= 1 + 3.3 (log n), where n is the number of cases in the data set I hope this helps :)
sir may I ask kung hinahanap yung 3rd class interval, saan po dapat magsisimula magcount, sa bottom po ba or top? pls po sana ma tugunonan ito asap thank u
@@doreencatulong1183 Some College Degree, ginagamit pa rin iyang Frequency Table. Lalo na sa mga BS Statistics ang course. Yes, tinuturo na siya JHS/SHS pa lang para malaman ng studyante kung paano mag solve, analyze, or makuha yung data.
hello sir, I would like to clarify a question of mine, I'm quite conflicted. I got a class interval of 6 and class width of 7, will it generate the same answer po ba when we compute for the mean, median, mode, standard d, if there's a difference in the construction of the table?
I’m sorry sir but I think you forgot to include the approximate number of classes : this is the formula K = 1 + 3.322log N where: K= Number of classes and log N = Logarithm of the total number of observations. Example If the total number of performance of statistics class in the prelim exam is 40 , the number of classes would be K = 1 + 3.322log N K = 1 + 3.322log 40 K = 1 + 3.322(1.602059991328 or 1.6) K = 1 + 5.322043291192 or 5.3 K= 6.322043291192 or 6.3 Total number of classes: 6.3 After that you can get the class interval by using the formula : Range/no. Of classes Range divided by No. of classes 41/6.3 = 6.507936507937 or 7 that’s the total of class interval. All in all your right, 7 is the interval but you need to give the step-by-step procedure in order for the viewers to understand. Thank you po and Godbless .😇
Hello po may I ask? If the IQ scores of 50 individuals are measured and recorded, and majority of the scores are near the median, what would you say about the variability? Thank youu

K = 1 + 5.322043291192 or 5.3
K= 6.322043291192 or 6.3

What if the class interval is 5.32? Am i going to round off to the next whole number even if the decimal is below 4? Thank youuuu
@@ramcilmaebalansag4872 i think its only 5 because your next decimal number is lower than 5, we can just round off if it is more than 5

Thank u sir
How do u get that 7 as a class interval
You need to round it off to the nearest odd integer.
Example
7.6 becomes 7
8.2 becomes 9
U get it using this format 1+3.322Log^N=1+3.322×Log40

0.5 is constant, meaning it is part of the formula that is fixed.

Total number of classes: 6.3
