      I agree. Only students of the game understand how difficult it is to know what he was saying. That guy does his homework. He should be a bench coach calling pitches

    Beast mode. It takes a lot of power to hit low breaking balls that far. Second at bat was great; took his time and then pounced on the right pitch. He's seeing the ball well.

      personally i found low breaking balls the easiest to hit extremely far

      You guys are in the other league. It's not out of line to prefer one N.L. team over the rest of them as long as it doesn't interfere with the Blue Jays. It's been long enough since Joe Carter ruined my childhood. I think we're over it. I'm actually hoping Toronto wins the Pennant this year. You've got the necessary requirements. It's been a long time since your team has been to the World Series. It's a young, talented, and fun to watch core. And of course, dingers. So many violent dingers. Bo, Vlad jr., Bryce, and Castellanos have four of the most vicious swings in baseball. You've got a really good team right now. You're also in a nightmare of a division. I can relate. Good luck this season.

      A lot of people say he didn’t deserve last year MVP after years of everybody calling him overrated. People love to hate Harper but he’s a special player

      @@Aqwtiny He definitely wasn't MVP? Who was definitely more deserving than him? Who definitely was more valuable or had a better season in the N.L. last year? I would sincerely be impressed if you can make an argument that makes sense. Aside from just posting Soto's rWAR. Harper didn't have the highest rWAR in the N.L. so he DEFINITELY didn't deserve MVP. That's the dumb, lazy response I'm expecting. That's obviously not your fault. The bar is set low. I've been drowning in idiots recently. Who definitely should've won over Harper and why?

      I was initially pretty salty that he signed with a division rival, but nowadays I harbor no ill feelings for him. He belongs in Philly.
      And I'm not just saying that because we won the World Series the year he left.

    Crazy to think the Yankees passed on having Harper in the line up and traded for Stanton instead. Harper and Judge could have been a fun duo for years.

      @@dean3438 I mean it’s team game. Dude has a career 1.1 ops in playoffs and it’s been above 1.3 the past 3 years. He’s been a great postseason hitter, really the only good one the Yankees have. 9 hr and 17 rbi in 64 AB is really damn solid

      I like Harper man. I think people that said he was overrated don't understand that picthers stopped giving him anything to hit. For a few years he was kinda being impatient because he wanted to do more than just get walked alot. He's gotten older and more pateint at the plate and now theres nothing you can do lol

    Everyone is hitting low these days. That’s why high heater is back and effective. The guys at the booth is right. Harper was looking for a off speed pitch and the catcher was clearly asking it. They collected a valuable info that these are pitches to avoid during the season. Just hope that Kikuchi’s high heater is effective against this guy. It sure were a pair of great swings.

    It’s always nice to see how batters challenge themselves during spring. Bryce knows he can always hit fastballs, so to focus on secondary pitches is dope. He might be locked in against LHP’s this year

    Bryce Harper and Juan Soto are the best offensive players in the NL. Soto had the better eye, but Harper hits for more power.
