I just found your videos. I did two of them and already I've learned a lot! Your format is great, no lengthy intros, no annoying music, very practical and easy to follow. Thank you. I'll be looking for more.
Whenver there's a freind looking to learn blender, I always recommend your videos. Easy to follow, simple but very high quality works. Good material explanations. You are just, great!
He does a video jump cut at 10:34 changing the orange window. the Color Space menu changes to Linear and the Alpha menu gets premultiplied. I learned a lot during this guide. I did end up exploring a different path after a while. I look forward to watching more vids later on.
For whatever reason my "Fog" material didn't went dark as yours, i had to crank the value of the density waaay up. But awesome tutorial nonetheless, you are one of the few people that explain Blender tutorials so well. 👍
I think I found the issue, for some reason the Fog principled volume defaults to an Emission Strength of 1. You need to go into the material for the fog and reduce the Emission Strength to zero (you can see in the video that his is at zero)
I'm not sure exactly what I missed but at 12:57 when I remove the surface output my fog doesn't change color it stays white. Can anyone help me out here? UPDATE: I had my stars and fog layers mislabeled! 😂
Very, very, very, nice idea, that very nice I try made some, no try I made, but is hilarious to make. You have absolute abnormal good idea what to be made and what to make, good job, keep going and good luck man!
how is his HDRI reflect blue lights? while the one he shared reflects very yellow color? anyone know how to make it similar to his? or we just gonna rock with yellow lights?
@@xTostyK I like to play those "How I made" videos at 0.5x speed or something to see what he's doing. Ofc you need basic knowledge on how Blender works to follow without commentary, but if you're familiar it's a good way to see how he does things and maybe even follow along.
@@hyungjunii That's the thing, I started studying blender not so long ago, but there is already some understanding and, in general, I understand most of what it does, but not everything, and often I want to understand this or that moment in the work
@@xTostyK I understand. I think he also has key cast on so it's easier to understand what he is doing. If there is one action or thing you don't understand, maybe it's possible to google? But yeah, I've also had some times where I didn't understand what was happening at all. Sometimes you just have to keep going and come back to it later
For anyone who is struggling to find the same image he used for the background - you can download his project and unpack the image from there, saving it.
For those whose stars where not visible after creating "fog" material , try giving material to "star" object I don't know if it's just me who missed this or something 😅 , I thought I will be nice if someone find the same problem as me
For some reason, the Principled Volume Fog object only renders as opaque white when inside the glass bottle. In the Viewport, it looks just like your video, but after rendering with Cycles it comes out as like a milky white. There isn't any leftover geometry accidentally rendering, I checked. Can't figure out what the deal is...
Ok, somehow the "Stars" sphere had it's own separate texture that was rendering independent of the particles and therefore was getting in the way of the fog??... somehow?? After I gave the "Stars" sphere it's own texture and set it to transparent, it rendered correctly
When I increase emission on the stars nothing happens... I'm on version 4.0.1 using cycles. Has anything changed? EDIT: I was trying to change emission of the "stars" object and not "star". It's the object that you are instancing that needs to be changed! :)
hi! you videos are great thank you so much im learning blender from u and its going really well thanks to you man! but in this project my surface is too bright in your video you surface is really i dont know how to say it in english but i guess its matt? i think its because we are using different hdri texture im using the hdri texture that u gave in the description but this texture is too bright is there anyway to make it matt like yours or should i just find a different hdri texture and change it ?

This is a cool fun tutorial. This opens a world of possibilities for 3D and graphic design. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, Roman! :) It's good to see how lighting enhances the visual experience.

Glad you feel inspired!

I'd like to see a tutorial to creating scenes like pirate hideout or sky island or something similar. That would be great❤

Is there a way to animate rotatation of the starfield inside the bottle? (Edit: Problem solved - "Make Instances Real")
so cool!
My fog material isn't showing on the render but it does show on the layout despite having followed all the instructions, anyone know why?
The best of The best
ty for the tutorial!!
glad to help!
Are you sure you're using the same HDRI as linked? My bottle's scenery looked nowehere near like your and cast a long shadow. Did i miss something?
It's a bit different one

At 11:36 how do you get your surface data to show up all spread out and not in sections?
its an older version of blender
Awesome!
Thanks!
sure like, subscribe and I'm also considering buying your course as soon as I've finished my current one.
Amazing :)

I have a looot of noise after render. What else we can do to eliminate THE VERY NOISE? Helpppp
You need to use the denoise setting in the render settings
for some reason while I'm rendering it, there is no fog
The rendered image looks very dark compared with the image in viewport.any suggestions??
I turned off Show Emitter in Partickle settings and it somehow worked, fog turned the same for viewport and render
My star particle does not emit any light , emission value is set to 1000. Any tips
Did you change the colour from the default black?
I was doing it on the star object inside of bottle that's why it was not working.
We have to add material to the object which was instanced.
keep up the good work :)
Thanks, will do!
greatttttt🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
When I render the image, the fog is completely white. What could be wrong?
Are you sure you plugged it in volume, not surface in the material?
Is it Eevee or Cycles?
nice ty
how to fix blender 3.6 it automatically closes itself when rendering or material settings
please make a video on UI 3D character creation
My poor potato computer can't quite handle Cycles. Is there a way to obtain the same translucency for the bottle using Eevee?
you can get decent results there, but of course not all the way. Check refraction settings in eevee render settings and also refraction on material
Can you make like lightning and explosion tutorial
Could you please make a tutorial modeling Hollow Knight? There are a few on youtube but you make it so easy to understand!

Yeah, I use node wrangler, but didnt want to complicate the tut with another addon and shortcut

Brother, make a character that has hair on the body... I want to learn how to make a character with hair.
Can you please make a cartoon
why is there no transmission option in my material settings?
Im sure there is. If you're using blender 4 and up, its just hidden a bit in the material settings
@@polygonrunway Yes, I can, thanks, Blender 4.1 is further divided into several sub options
