The problem is no one can agree on which side to support. Israel is our ally but they have been committing war crimes that the US does not endorse. So by sending food we were trying to avoid choosing one side over the other and helping the people. The United States gets blamed no matter what we do. We should just become an isolationist society at this point since everything we do is wrong anyway. Most of our allies just use us for weapons and then treat us like trash when they’ve gotten what they want. That’s why the “America first” mentality has gained so much popularity. Why is it Americas responsibility to aid either side? When we leave countries alone they say we are heartless and cruel to allow it to happen. When we try to step in they say we are war mongers. America should just focus on ourselves and other countries should stop asking for our help.

When he left, the show went downhill, but it feels like since he's back, even though it's only once a week, the entire show has gone back up in quality

Actually it would be better if they did nothing, like sending weapons to Israel. Not just the 500m$ that is public but 100 other shipments under 25m$ to keep them secret.
I agree! I've heard that Gaza is on the brink of famine (officially). Unfortunately, air drops are all that we are currently able to do without actually having "boots on the ground," something that nobody wants.
However, there's a plan to use ships and bring in substantially more food and medicine that's being hashed out right now, according to a recent report. This will involve actually building a pier in northern Gaza (Gaza doesn't have a harbor large enough to accommodate large ships) so larger amounts of aid can be brought in on a sustained basis.
Hopefully, this will happen soon.🙏
The airdrops are dangerous in the field. The metal or wood pallets come down and sometimes starving people run to them and are crushed under them. This happened in Somalia after the first Gulf war.
Already happened, 5 hit and lost their life because parachute didn't open. Thought he gonna joke about this

Just as a reminder, over the past 50 years we've given Israel $3+ BILLION PER YEAR. To say they owe us would be a massive understatement. It really _should_ be as simple as, "Move."

I have a friend in the Danish military who told me about some aid drops to Gaza that she was organizing. So it's not just the US getting involved in this.

Just in case people are learning about it here...The CDC didn't drop the guidelines for COVID because it became less contagious or dangerous, they did it because people were "more likely to follow it if it was easier". If you have COVID you should still isolate until you test negative, usually 10 days, if you can. And either way, wear a respirator.
No, a bandana or a cloth mask with holes in it.
Easier said than done when most employers do not have Covid leave anymore and a majority of the population cannot survive 10 days of unpaid leave.
@@Caedus696 It's true, I did say if you can. I've seen employers drop any covid leave they had left after the CDC changed guidelines. Wear a respirator mask if you must work, and take it as easy as you possibly can while sick.

You still have to get to appointments and it's scary when you need to take public transit to get there and people are coughing all over the place and you know if you get an infection you have to go to emergency. Not to mention how isolating it is to not be able to go anywhere because people don't have the decency to protect public spaces. Why can't people be a little more careful so everyone can move about in public?

@Smash_ter Well it did begin with the elected governing body of Palestine committing genocide. The scales on either end are not the same by any means, but this situation falls heavier on the shoulders of Hamas than it does Israel. Hamas attacked an ally of the most powerful military the world has ever known while hiding beneath hospitals and daycare centers. They made a choice to sacrifice civilian life by initiating a war. That is not to say Israel has been right in much of what they've been doing, but there is accountability on both sides.
