- Happy .45 Friday on this Friday of 4/5 (April 5th, for those who are slower than others). Today the less-than-dynamic duo is back to learn you up on another "secret menu item" from ACW. People have been engraving firearms since the firearm was invented. Sometimes, it's to commemorate a special occasion or person- other times, just because it looks cool. No matter the reason, we at ACW have got you covered!
That 5 inch 1911 looks so good with the commander ring hammer.
The only way to have it honestly
I stopped and zoomed in a couple times and did some google searches and think I can translate it:
Left Side of Slide:
SUA SPONTE - 75th Ranger Regiment motto “Of Their Own Accord.”
Shield- 75th Ranger Regiment unit insignia.
LXXV - 75 in Latin
Right side of slide:
RASP- Ranger Assesment and Selection Program class number.
RS - Ranger School class number
PRO DEO ET PATRIA- For God and Country
Afghanistan & Iraq- Probably deployments

Laser engraving won’t cut it. Actual engraving with deep cuts and and beautiful lines and scroll work is where it’s at. That’s real custom work!

What about my 10mm, am I still doomed to hell. Saint Cooper designed it under strict guide lines from the holy of holy, the one true king. Which brings me to my next question, will you guys be building a 10mm commander or full size. I don't know maybe I missed something.

We picked up a single stack 40 from the Springfield custom shop just so we could have it in the reference collection.
The gun is a hoot, and we STILL have 2 PD’s who shoot here with 40 Glocks. So it’s nice to use their ammo😂.
