From 1965. These guys were the tops in "Blue Eyed Soul" music back in the mid 60s, along with Tom Jones and Mitch Ryder and The Detroit Wheels. We had real music back then. Thanks
I've been listening to these guys for 60 years and they always give me goosebumps. They have other big hits like "Soul and Inspiration", "Go Ahead and Cry", "Rock and Roll Heaven", and "Just Once in my Life". These guys are the "real deal". Love your reaction.
In my humble opinion...The music of the 60's I consider to be the best decade in Rock & Roll history. These two men "Bobby Hatfield (Tenor) and Bill Medley (Baritone)" were just one of the reasons why I considered this decade to be the best in Rock & Roll history. This song (You've Lost That Loving Feeling) by the Righteous Brothers is the most played song in the history of radio. It is in the Guinness book of world records to being the most played by radio disc jockeys all over the world. Also, one of the backup singers in this video was none other than "Cher." Before she went onto fame and fortune with her late husband Sonny Bono as "Sonny & Cher."
Their not siblings Bill Medley (deep voice) Bobby Hatfield (high). There one of the greatest duos in music history. Many great songs. Unchained Melody, For once in my Life, Soul and Inspiration. They were on fire doing Little Latin Lupe Lu and especially Night Time is the Right Time. Best success on yr channel.
What you just reacted to the THE most played song on American radio in the 20th century with a confirmed 8+ million plays. This song was used as the background song in the movie "Top Gun". This great duo also had the honor of being asked by The Beatles in 1964 to tour with them and be their opening act when The Beatles landed in America to embark on the most anticipated music tour in history. Bill and Bobby also had two more huge hits including "Unchained Melody" which was used as the background music in the movie "Ghost", as well as "You're My Soul & Inspiration" which went to #1 in 1965 for three weeks. If you loved Bill's deep raspy voice then you will really enjoy hearing him in "You're My Soul & Inspiration" link: ruclips.net/video/WF12mMViw5g/видео.html Bobby with his contrasting tenor voice puts on one of the greatest live solo TV performances of all time when he sings "Unchained Melody" live on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1965--so popular in fact that it currently has 64 million views on you tube,
Andy Williams Show 1965. On Ed Sullivan's show they sang "You'll Never Walk Alone" Beautiful!! And "Yes Indeed" with Peggy Lee. Very classy, as usual! And a lot of fun!
Yes, this song was in the movie: "Top Gun" with Tom Cruise...So sorry, no they are not siblings, but I did tell you guys that I gave them a nickname because together they are "Thunder & Lightning!!!" You can't go wrong with The Righteous Brothers because they don't miss and because their sound is truly "RIGHTEOUS!!!" Mic Drop!!! 🎤
Puts todays' "videos" to shame Beautiful background singers, perfect musical accompaniment, "the Wall of Sound" and two of the greatest singers ever lived. Most played song in the 20th century, with over 8 million plays, Into 2022 its around 13 million with both centuries combined. You don't get any better than the Blue Eyed Soul of The Righteous Brothers. So many to hear, but you GOTTA hear "I Just Wanna Make Love To You." Very Bluesy! Cher was one of the background singers in Lovin Feeling.
Often called "blue eyed soul". A live performance - no auto tune or other computer enhancements in 1964 - just pure talent. This was played in "Top Gun", "We were Soldiers" and some other movies. Bobby Hatfield with the high, 3 octave range voice; Bill Medley with the low baritone. Wonderful harmony. Check out "Soul and Inspiration" featuring both; and a 1965 live performance by Bobby Hatfield singing "unchained melody"
The deep voice was Bill Medley. Bill also sang in the movie Dirty Dancing , duetting with Jennifer Warnes on "I've Had The Time If My Life". Bobby Hatfield was the higher voice. You should check out Bobby's cover of the classic song, "Summertime". Bobby was a counter-tenor so he could go way up there into the high and falsetto notes. Thanks!
Definitely "Summertime." But those notes are NOT falsetto. Bobby was a "counter-tenor. He could go from baritone to G5 and higher. Bobby was a natural high-register Tenor, as heard in his live performance of "Unchained Melody." Never found out how high he could go. A lot of Sopranos could not reach those heights.
You guys are on point again. Yes, "You've Lost that Loving Feeling" was use extensively in The First "Top Gun" movie with Tom Cruise. Circa 1984 - 1986.
@@MIxxEDREACTIONS0520 your welcome!!!!! I know this one will not get a lot of requests but if you could react to Darryl Worleys”I Miss My Friend” it would be much appreciated and it would definitely get you bot to tears or almost tears when you watch it to the end
Thanks a lot. Huge song and awesome rendition. The Phil Spector's insane arrangements are mindblowing here, his wall of sound effects is gorgeous. Cher sang backing vocals on the studio recording of this track, just like on Be my baby by the Ronettes.
I was a kid when this was released, and I remember it being on the popular radio stations. Since then, I have experienced the situation this song is about, where she has lost her love, if thinking of wandering, and he is desperately trying to bring back the love. Been there, done that, and my experience is that he has already lost and just doesn't know it yet. Yeah, he can bring her back short-term, but the forces that drive her sill later driver her again, and he will be right back here, until he gives up and lets her go. Then family court will stomp him into the dirt. I have always loved this song, it is wonderful harmonies and music, but it is about a hopeless situation, and it brings me pain. The only good side is that, after she abused me and our son, she has had a fer more difficult life than I have. I could have made her life wonderful, she chose to chase sexual experiences instead. I have a good life, she is in the gutter, last I heard.
Ok you two you got my sub. Why? Cause this is the kind of reaction video I love. Just watching you guys watching the RB's said it all. In so many reaction videos the RUclipsr stops the clip they're watching every ten seconds and then goes on and on. You simply started the clip and sat there a let that sound envelope you. Your faces and chair dancing said it all! Great vid.
What I love so much about this song is that the music itself is relatively simple and the lyrics are pretty straightforward, but they make you feel deep emotions by the simple strength of their voices and delivery. No auto tune. Just straight talent!
You both by far give the best reactions to the videos! I watch you two and your giving respect to the performers by actually watching them sing. And you are commenting tastefully and not pausing for every comment you make. I realize this is all for reactions, but come on. I've seen lots of reactors and they interrupt the songs, watch themselves on the monitor and miss half the performance. How can you honestly comment if your not paying attention to the video in front of you??? So thank you both for your respectful reactions.
Before the 2000s music had meaning and soul you can't find that in today's music. We need this era of music to come back and save us in a way because everything that is going on now we need that one song to bring everyone together and we had that in the music from this era. Elvis Presley's music was loved by all races.
