Nick, a question if I can. How do you find your clamp on trailer wheels to use. Are they ok on sand? Are your the BLA brand. Iam trying to work out if I take a fold up trailer or go with wheels like you are using.
    Thanks David

Hey David the wheels are good for what they are as for sand there not the best but we just drag the boat with the car on sand. If you can have the weight of a trailer I think it would be eiser but the wheels aren’t bad at all we got ours from road tech marine👍

great video , an inline filter would be a great benefit to stop all the dirt getting into the pumps.

Mate I made my own system years ago using a 12v pump, long hose, (blue water hose) it can push water at a reasonable lpm for 15 or more metres. Pump close to the source and it’ll push it to the van from down in the river. I run a double canister filter plus the little filter you showed on all my inbound water. It filters down to the micron level. No way I’d be sticking the arse of my van into the rivers we’ve been near. Mine has been running for 3 years without any issues. But hey good luck with that.. love your videos.

Looks like 2 hoses thrown out into river. One connects to tanks inlet, what's the purpose of the other hose? Is it carrying power to the pump?
I've only ever seen setups where pump is land based. Nice setup. Enjoying your very down to earth posts.

The general idea is good. But I have two concerns. First, the switching valves need some labelling, strange that the manufacturer didn't do that. Second, the switching valves need some protection against unintended opening, for instance by moving objects in this compartment while driving. Cheers.

Hey Thomas I guess once you know witch valve is witch it’s ok without labels and the system has a non return valve so if they get opened it doesn’t matter🤠thanks for watching 👍🤠

Great idea👍👍. We have a Joolca pump & hose so I think I might convert a smaller tank to drinking only & do something similar on our van

I would prefer a longer hose so you don't have to put the van into the water, or perhaps park along side the river or whatever
