Simple system👍🏻Thanks for sharing 👌🏻 you’ll have to show us how to get out of a bogged situation next to a creek bed after filling water tanks too Nick haha 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hahahah shhh we never got bogged hahaha thanks for watching guys👍🤠
@@elnick.adventures my imagination runs wild sometimes haha
Go you good things, excellent, I may be wrong, but this is the first real life demo filling from a river source.
Thanks Tristan !! It will make remote travel easy !!👍🤞
great video , an inline filter would be a great benefit to stop all the dirt getting into the pumps.
Hey dean it would! Thanks for watching !! 👍🤠
yess that's exactly what i was searching for, my goal is to build my own camping van from scratch (i mean inside not the car haha) and I was wondering is it possible to filter the river water just to shower ( because i have ocd so i kinda have routine with showers) and it explained me alot. This way I will save alot of money for water. Of course for washing dishes or drinking, I think of buying just big bottles of water and pouring them into the separate tank? For the toilet im thinking of dry toilet, it looks nice to vacuum it and throw away . Still having a long way to go, but im encouraged to do all this work to visit the world
Yes all can be filtered and you have some great ideas there 👍👍
Great idea for remote travelling 😀
Cheers 🍻 legends and greetings from south africa 🇿🇦
Thanks guys 👍🤠
Nice set up
Thanks Tim !!👍🤠
Great idea 💡it will definitely come in handy remote camping, with 3 little adventurous boys 😊❤
Thanks! Got to keep the water up to the washing machine 👍🤠😂
Mate I made my own system years ago using a 12v pump, long hose, (blue water hose) it can push water at a reasonable lpm for 15 or more metres. Pump close to the source and it’ll push it to the van from down in the river. I run a double canister filter plus the little filter you showed on all my inbound water. It filters down to the micron level. No way I’d be sticking the arse of my van into the rivers we’ve been near. Mine has been running for 3 years without any issues. But hey good luck with that.. love your videos.
Thanks for watching tony sounds like a great set up. 👍🤠
Great idea👍👍. We have a Joolca pump & hose so I think I might convert a smaller tank to drinking only & do something similar on our van
The seperate drinking tank is really handy! 👍thanks for watching.
love your cchennel guys
Thankyou👍🤠🤠
Awesome as ❤u guys 👍
Thanks guys🤙👍🤠
Amazing van!
👍🤠
Nice!!
👍🤠
Looks like 2 hoses thrown out into river. One connects to tanks inlet, what's the purpose of the other hose? Is it carrying power to the pump?
I've only ever seen setups where pump is land based. Nice setup. Enjoying your very down to earth posts.
Thanks guys yes the other pipe Carrie’s the power cable down to the pump. 🤠 thanks for watching
The general idea is good. But I have two concerns. First, the switching valves need some labelling, strange that the manufacturer didn't do that. Second, the switching valves need some protection against unintended opening, for instance by moving objects in this compartment while driving. Cheers.
Hey Thomas I guess once you know witch valve is witch it’s ok without labels and the system has a non return valve so if they get opened it doesn’t matter🤠thanks for watching 👍🤠
The Big Fella looks like Barry McKenzie with that hot 😂😂
Hahahaha 🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠
Nick, a question if I can. How do you find your clamp on trailer wheels to use. Are they ok on sand? Are your the BLA brand. Iam trying to work out if I take a fold up trailer or go with wheels like you are using.
Thanks David
Hey David the wheels are good for what they are as for sand there not the best but we just drag the boat with the car on sand. If you can have the weight of a trailer I think it would be eiser but the wheels aren’t bad at all we got ours from road tech marine👍
cool
👍🤠
What happened to the shots where you were stuck 😂😂😂
Hahaha couldn’t double up😉thanks for watching mark
What type of pump do you use with model and company name
It’s just bilge pump from bcf 🤠
I would prefer a longer hose so you don't have to put the van into the water, or perhaps park along side the river or whatever
Thanks for watching !!!
