To be honest, I have a little more interest because of the Clark- Reese rivalry. Rivalries / competitiveness have always made any sport more exciting. What could change that fact now? Because that’s a fact. However, Watching them made me recognize the many players that are better than both of them. I rightfully support the best players- at least as much as any rookie. Nothing’s changed about this being a team sport. Morals and principles over flesh/ material- everytime! Nothing’s new!

The WNBA has lost money every year it has been running according to the media. Let's say you allow players to hurt or worse put her out of the game, how is this going to help the league. I see why now that this league has lost money every year. I feel that Caitlin Clark is the biggest fan drawer of the WNBA. I will say to all the ladies that want to hurt her. Do you want to get paid 1 2 3 million a year during your career? If you do you better hope that she plays for the next 10 years. I feel this is kind of like the moment that Larry Bird and Magic Johnson went to the NBA. The WNBA could be Before Caitlin and after Caitlin. She is Like Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Wayne Gretzky She will have this impact if the referee will at least be fair to her. If you are going to allow her to be slapped to the ground and no technical fouls will be called she will be gone from the league in 2 to 3 years due to injury. The WNBA and all the low-paid players will be the big losers. Sad but true.

      4. Jason Kapono
      5. Jeff McGinis

Also you should know that the Cavs purposefully tanked the 2003 season in order to be able to get the 1st pick to draft Lebron. So the whole 17 games team win thing is just a made-up narrative by talking heads on First Thing First.
So do your research before spreading that 🧢 narrative.

Since the league started the players have griped and complained about the low pay compared to men's basketball. So they only play 75 or 80 percent. In comes a talented rookie, playing 100% all the time. They have to actually work to keep up. So,...cheap shots and some roughing up is the only way to slow her down. Cynthia Cooper was 34 years old which means that she was already an expert when it came to the game and I'm not throwing shade at Cynthia because she's a dog... But give this girl till the end of the year. You seem like a knowledgeable fan of the WNBA so you should know that the fever have been ass for years...💯
