  • FOSI AUDIO TB10D REVIEW (Upgraded Version)- A very short review and look at the Fosi Audio TB10D (600 watt max) mini amplifier. I have also compared this mini amplifier to the Fosi Audio BT20A (200 watt max) and also my own Onkyo A-9110 Amplifier.

    I've been enjoying the Fosi TB10D (Improved model) for a couple of months.

      It's quite a solid performer. I would love option of a remote, it would really make it a great little amp!!

    Glad I found this channel, I found it informative, I appreciate another's opinion of what these small amps knock out sonically for their low price. I certainly have the Nobsound NS-01G Pro ,and am impressed & added to q acoustic 3020i speakers.
    I added a hardrive full of flac files sent via Bluetooth, great space saving in the bedroom.

    Thanks for this video. Tb10d is more open sounding, with more extended high. I recently acquired LSA Warp 1 amp which uses the TPA3255 amp. It has very good 600W switching mode power supply, which shows that TPA3255 has the potential to really shine when optimised. I am tempted to get a TB10D and feed it with better power supply to see how close it come to the Warp 1.

    TB10D, I went to Amazon jp and saw it. The price of ¥9,999 is reasonable.
    A compact amplifier is good for listening to PC sound source mp4. The TI TPA 3255 AMP is my first experience.

    Great review! My 10d's volume nob has a little slack going from left to right. Did your review sample have slack or was it tight? Thank you.

    Hi im wanting to add my 2 polk xt60 to this from my denon3800h at 8 ohms woyld i need the bigger power pack at 48v? And on connection do i connect the speaker to this amp and the 2 rca connections at side connectvto denon pre outs for each l/r speaker?

    • @DIY-AUDIO
      @DIY-AUDIO  4 месяца назад

      Hi Lee, not sure how that would be . Something I think you should ask Fosi Directly. I do tho think you'd be fine with the standard 36v pack as it's a fairly powerful little amp

    • @Alaw_83

      @DIY-AUDIO OK il Try it as it comes , would I.just have to connect to the fosi amp rca in and out to my denon pre outs

    600w is so insanly misleading, the chip is always programmed with resistors to be current limited to max 2x 160w, but usally more like 2 x 120w with 1% thd. In a lab with insane cooling and a superb pcb the max is 2x 300w at 10% thd/noise. Its more like a 2x100w at 8 ohm amp in reality.

      @@DIY-AUDIO we have pushed the AIYIMA A07 a very similar amplifier to the FOSI up to 52v 6amp linear power supplies. Specifically I have a friend who got the Antek 500 watt 50v supply and had him wire me up 2 Antek 52v 300 watt power supplies running my A07s as mono blocks (using only one channel per amp to cut down on heat. The FOSI should be able to handle 50v. To be conservative maybe a 48v linear supply will get great results IMO. If you give this amp a speaker load of 90-94db sensitivity you will be rewarded with astonishing effortless dynamics and bass energy. The top end of these well executed TPA 3255 based amplifiers is speakers for itself. Liquid smooth details and shimmer on the top that is better than tube amps. Imaging and soundstage is near perfect. Negligible phase shift in the audible band on these class D amps makes the magic in our opinion and that is backed up by people like Ralph Karsten of ATMASPHERE who last year introduced his GaN FET class D mono blocks which beat his long standing success with OTL vacuum tube amplifiers. He has said that the Class D chipsets by Texas Instruments are very vey good.

    Got this question.... are you familiar with the Fosi BT10A....will that have enough power to handle Sony SSCS5 speakers and a small Subwoofer?

    • @DIY-AUDIO
      @DIY-AUDIO  Год назад

      As that one doesn't have a sub out, I doubt it. I would of thought you'd be better with the BT30d amzn.to/3nydKXd

    HelloI would like to ask which of these small amplifiers has the least amount of white noise. When the music is not playing, how loud are they? Thanks!

    • @DIY-AUDIO
      @DIY-AUDIO  Год назад +2

      Less white noise on these than on my much larger more expensive Onkyo. Really well suppressed.

      You will need an amp with Bluetooth I guess. If you are just looking for a small cheap amp that will cope ably with the Mark Audio Drivers, I would suggest the Fosi BT20A. m.aliexpress.com/item/1005002448488742.html?UTABTest=aliabtest359606_508211&spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.e0c1281e77srv0&algo_pvid=ff919b20-f468-40f4-aaed-bacc4f0b4e9e&algo_exp_id=ff919b20-f468-40f4-aaed-bacc4f0b4e9e-1&pdp_ext_f=%7B%22sku_id%22%3A%2212000020695420903%22%7D&pdp_npi=2%40dis%21GBP%2148.82%2141.01%21%21%21%21%21%400b0a187916598649827658217e2c2d%2112000020695420903%21sea&curPageLogUid=LCJY8P7zq6C2&aff_fcid=6dc94229be684d73a5a42d7ccc985fbd-1672325253362-01576-_DCAj4jV&tt=CPS_NORMAL&aff_fsk=_DCAj4jV&OLP=1084900408_f_group0&o_s_id=1084900408&afSmartRedirect=y&aff_fcid=c6ce93d8b71642a1a85b298309339d61-1676623745096-00354-_DkDLXMb&tt=CPS_NORMAL&aff_fsk=_DkDLXMb&aff_platform=portals-tool&sk=_DkDLXMb&aff_trace_key=c6ce93d8b71642a1a85b298309339d61-1676623745096-00354-_DkDLXMb&terminal_id=c337aee630754b78b8b4c00114489d61&afSmartRedirect=y
