speaker cabinet and speaker size have a rational impact on sound qualit manufactures spend a long time tuning their cabinets it looks like a lovely job
Put any one speaker in 1,000 different listening environments (rooms) and you'll get 1,000 different frequency response curves … and no mainstream manufacturer can get around this! And that's before you get to the variations in listening preferences (music) and needed and associate equipment, or indeed listening positions as manufacturers default to using arbitrary measurements (anechoic or 1 watt, 1 meter) to which its highly unlikely to be of any use in real world environments, as no one listens to music in an anechoic chamber, or rarely at an exact listening position of 1m from said speakers.

I just love his skill at woodworking. Wish he knew how to choose better components and how to properly build a bass chamber. Other then that great work 🔨🪛🪚
Primo shit but I'd have to agree, probably smaller drivers for your mid/low crossover frequencies (considering the size dual enclosure) not only power loss but performance loss as well. You can get the data sheet on speakers before you purchase for specifics (crossover components, enclosure, etc) I'm guessing you might wanna start around 4" drivers, it'll sound clean and "punchier". For the low lows, a big enclosure is inevitable. Otherwise nice work.
I just World like to suggest you not to use gloves while using power tools and more specifically with the table saw, it is more dangerous than not using due easily the gloves can be pulled by the saw teeth. Nice work. Thanks for sharing. BR
Down-firing subwoofers push the soundwaves they produce towards the floor where they are reflected and given a richer sound for a stronger “rumble” effect with movies and games. This type of subwoofer can also be placed directly alongside a wall.
I don't like screws and really the glue is what holds the wood together the staples are just a plus this is not a subwoofer with thousands of watts shacking the ground and moving a lot of air just a nice sound bar bet sports sound great on this setup
good work. but not a good design. how do you replace the speakers? there should be some room behind the speakers. dust from sanding can get into speaker and damage it.

I have a TEAC, 200 watt stereo. I took it apart last Summer, outdoors, it was Chok full of cobwebs, cockroaches, and cockroach egg sacks, because my former place was in a building loaded with roaches, I took apart, even got the faceplate and transformer out, I vacuum up all the roach bodies with a shop vac. Now it's 2021, I've forgotten about getting that stereo inside my dad's new house. So i bought a Douk Audio Nob Sound NS-01G Pro instead it's 50wx2. It does the job. But 200 watts even better Lol.
