The numbers and the drama this season are a damn shame because season of the Witch (current season) was actually a top 5 all time season imo

Absolutely! This was the season that made me comeback, after a year break.
I think if the seasonal loot was better and people wanted it more it wouldn’t have lead to low player counts. All seasons with good loot keep people interested.
It literally had crota’s end and one new crucible map. Besides that it had the same old stuff as usual

Also this year has been a PHENOMENAL year for gaming in general. People had so many choices and were much less tolerant with Bungie. This next season and Final Shape really need to go hard if Destiny 2 wants to thrive.

Not to sound like a fanboy but there really isn't much to play. Almost every game that came out was a game you beat once and never touch again. Destiny will thrive again very soon.

I'm still really annoyed about the change to Enhanced Kinetic Tremors on pulse rifles. Going from 9 shots to 10 shots means it now takes 4 bursts instead of 3. Alternately, the NON-enhanced version now takes 4 bursts when previously it took.... 4 bursts. Okay then? I get that requiring 11 hits instead of 12 makes it more forgiving, but the alternative of requiring an entire extra trigger pull on the enhanced version feels QUITE shitty.
Zaouli’s Bane has a weird timing with the reload but it also reloads like a normal hand cannon when viewed by other players for some reason. Hope that’s getting fixed too. It’s one of my favorite primaries for PvE.

ZB seems to be really polarising. My crafted one is level 100 or some nonsense
@@Flecco mine is almost level 200. It’s just an all around great hand cannon with the best perk combo of explosive payload/incandescent for solar builds. Sunshot is better but I’m always running a kinetic or heavy exotic so ZB is the best option. I just wish Bungie would fix the awkward reload timing and animation when viewed by other people.
@@XxHUNT3RN4T0RxX nice man. I mostly play revenant but with the seasonal artifact coming I'm slapping together some solar stuff. The glaive/triton changes got me giving glaives the side eye though.
@@Flecco I’ve seen the seasonal artifact perks next season. Rays of Precision and Solo Operative are gonna make ZB nuts as a primary ad clear weapon. Can’t wait.
Having to solo the nee dungeon for guardian rank 11 again is such bullshit I hate being forced to get it done
With the new material trading, you can get 100 cores from just one ascendant shard/alloy

You forgot to mention the exotic armor updates. Off the top of my head I know that beregrine greaves is one of them hwat will receive changes (bonus damage but you have to be in the air for a short moment to activate the buff)
Speaking of titans, he forgot to mention that they removed the ability to slide and shoot while transitioning to your melee ability. While everyone is affected by this, it is most painful for titan players as they had the most effective use out of that combo

Shoot the rocket, throw knife, get ignition, dodge, repeat.
Then mix that in with a grenade that causes scorch over time = win.

Veist/suros/omolon/hakke/cassiod etc. The brands of the guns that's translated into the game via origin perks. Those that aren't obtained via a playlist or specific activity.

Nowadays, I'd say very indicative. On PC, Steam is effectively the dominant (and perhaps only) platform that most computer players use to buy and manage their games, thanks to its ease of accessibility. It is especially a blessing for modders and indie developers who do not have the means or resources to make and distribute physical copies of their games, so they gravitate to using Steam to publish their work and make some money off of it (it is also a blessing for people who can't be bothered to go outside to a physical shop). Also, its that much more convenient to just log into your Steam account on a buddy's computer than carrying in a huge stack of games.
Steam is also popular for having helped developers fight the steadily losing battle against piracy and bootlegs, specifically the act of disc burning, via internet activation-based copyright protection. This is a rough idea of how it works but, with downloading a game's official files from Steam (even if its a re-release of an old game), they come with a little hidden set of coding tied to one's Steam account that confirms that the owner made the transaction and authenticates the game. So even if someone were to burn the files onto a blank disc, without that confirmation data present, the game cannot be played. Its quite the improvement over security codes found inside a CD cover that can be randomly generated by a third-party programme.
With the advent of always-online behaviour, which made downloading updates, hotfixes, and add-on-content that much easier, and the surging popularity of digital transactions slowly making traditional stores obsolete, the only people that don't use Steam are either non-PC gamers, or those who are stuck in a time when computer games still came in CDs in boxes (and people using gaming magazines to figure stuff out instead of Let's Plays or video guides). If you haven't noticed, most newer laptop models don't come with disc drives anymore. When was the last time you've seen a physical copy of a relatively recent PC game (not a console one) on a store shelf these days?

The sparrow change is disappointing. Changing everything to match the best one means there aren't any plans to improve their variety and functionality. Sparrows, ghost shells, class items, and ships are design spaces that are being squandered by the devs.

sad part with the whole "focus on stasis" bungie was bosting about, realy turned out to be bad and not realy doing nothing to help stasis, rather nerfing stasis with al th armor modds they are nerfing, and also the artifact being basicly godlike level of solar, and mehh basicly pointless useless things for stasis.... how is this a stasis buff?
The funniest part about the artifact to me is... Why bother running stasis when riptide or conditional finality will do.
@@Flecco i mean this season, go solar use wish ender and ammit and you Will have goddamage and al Champions are clearad with those 2 weapons, you can stun everything and you still get a invandecant solar weapon for everything then use any heavy, rockets with solar gg ur set for the whole season, hell u dont even need a solar exotic centered gear becaus with the artifact mods u Will be broken anyway

Bungie will blame the Season for the low numbers and so called failures but the “Go woke, Go Broke” politics and letting go of employees is what’s killing D2 off. Everyone’s pointing fingers at so called Destiny killers but the true killer is Bungie. Final Shape will get released but it will only be due to Marathon being delayed. 3.6 Billion for Bungie, where did that money go? 1.2 Billion for employee retention, where did that money go? $20 armor skins? Bungie: We need it!

most of these changes for end of game is rediculous and that osteo nerf.. clown show. Done with this, it's obvious bungie has no idea what they are doing anymore, what direction they should go, ( so they shot gun change crap everywhere). Bungie does not deserve my money, they have abused it and done nothing to earn in the last year, period. Good luck keeping content going till next summer.
