I reverted to Islam in February this year . I was a Christian and before that I was heavily involved with new age spirituality and the occult . My journey to Islam began through Jesus pbuh but the church tried to keep me in their doctrines not the true message of Jesus pbuh . My journey continued alone no one preached to me or gave me Islamic lessons , I read the Quran and listened to it in Arabic at night and it was like my soul understood it . One weekend things got so tough for me the turmoil I felt and fear I felt from years of being told by the Christian church that Islam was satanic etc . So I got down on the floor put my face on the ground and begged God Allah to please just show me who you are ,if you are the same Abrahamic God of Moses Jesus etc please show me . So two days later I got into my bed and picked up the Quran and opened it on a verse that was referring to the Jews and how they had not stuck to what God had told them to do in observing the sabbath. This was vital to me as the sabbath was originally a staple of the abrahamic faith and the Quran confirmed that to me , so I began to do some research on Mohammed pbuh and discovered that he regularly visited the mosque on a sabbath and often prayed extra prayers on that day as a mark of worship to God . That to me was all I needed and it shows that Allah will meet you where you are with what you need Allah will not leave you alone if you search with a sincere heart and mind .
Currently I’m only muslim in my family and amongst all my friends and I won’t lie it can be lonely spending my first Ramadan with no company but alhamdullilah I can’t explain the peace I felt and to be honest sometimes humans can interrupt Allahs peace . I’ve also had not nice experiences with a muslim man and have been taken advantage of as a revert by this one shaykh in particular but actually they don’t realise that as a revert o gave up everything and I can no longer be tempted with the temptations of these men and I saw through it . I have no fear for the direction of my life I am protected and trust in allahs plan

@@The3Muslims unfortunately the stereotype on muslim man is not fiction obviously not all but there absolutely is a big issue in the religion regarding muslim men and how they conduct themselves l I’ve met countless revert western women who will tell you the same . It was also interesting listening to this man describe and talk about his wives in the way he did , up until that point I had respect for him, openly discussing personal experiences about his wives and in the way he did was very poor . There is always two sides to a story and it sounded very much like this guy was all about his own needs being met when marriage is mutual

I am astounded😱😱 I just began reading this man's book on the Trinity, and I have to say...I know exactly what he's talking about. But he's the first person I really understood to bring up this point; and finally, I understand what happened to me in my spiritual journey!! I specifically wanted to hear this man's story, since he used to be a Freemason/in the occult. I grew up very, very deeply immersed in the Bible, since I was little. I knew extremely well what it says, although as time went on, I understood it less and less. Especially the books after the Gospels! And Paul. I also was confused how the Old and New Testaments fused together. But I was so used to hearing it, that I didn't notice everything. In my search for God, and to be close to Him. I figured out Christianity wasn't doing for me what it claimes it would, and I ended up getting into a lot of New Age ideas. The thing was...actually a lot of those ideas made a lot of sense with some of the New Testament😅 So after I discovered what seemed to be some similar terms and concepts, to what Paul was teaching. I thought I had just discovered the deeper, mystical meaning of what Paul was talking about. I certainly thought wasn't really believing in the God described in the Bible anymore, tho. Several times I tried to go back to Christianity, but it didn't work. Now, for the last time...I am convinced in myself that the New Age is wrong and is serving Satan rather than God. I wanted to be under God, rather than myself. And this happened because out of the blue, I discovered Islam. Now tho for the first time, I understand what was really happening, and it makes all the sense in the world to me why I kept being attracted back to the New Age!! And other occult ideas. That's the fruit of some of the things Paul was writing. No wonder it was so confusing to me, trying to go back to worship the true God, while also be a Christian!! If I hadn't followed the mustache Christianity all the way to where it led in the New Age, I might have thought it was just Christian. But I have to follow a thing all the way to its conclusion. I was also confused about the Jews having the Kabbalah, so I'm glad he cleared that up about it being the occult😊 And it's not true Judaism. I feel since I did go into the occult, I can more clearly see what it means to give power to only God. And I can't say how grateful I am to finally understand what was confusing me, all this time!! I've been contemplating Islam for awhile, but now it seems like the most natural option for me in the world😄

Islam is the most beautiful thing that can ever happen to a person. The feeling you get once you have realized the truth, not only your soul and mind would be at ease, but your entire life Alhamdouliah. Allah will test you as he tests all of us every day and every night, but to overcome this test fills us with even more imaan (faith). Please keep exploring Islam and take your shahada whenever you are ready, but don't delay it unnecessarily as you never know when you die. May Allah swt make it easy for you and guide you to his mercy.

@My Lost Soul 🙃🙃 Unless you're a sister yourself, I don't think its appropriate for you to do this. I am sure there is a local mosque somewhere near her and she can go there. No need for strangers online to help in private.

@My Lost Soul 🙃🙃 I am just reminding you of how inappropriate it is for men to ask women online to talk in private, but somehow still you don't seem to see the issue here and think its normal behaviour judging by your response. I am not saying you have bad intentions, but clearly this is not allowed in our religion, a religion you claim to help her with. At the end, do as you please, I am just a messenger. I personally would choose a public platform to talk to someone from the opposite gender and not in private, as our religion mandates. But I am sure you already know that.

11:27 I am from Malaysia, Bidayuh tribe was once a head hunting tribe due to tribal wars and to instill fear amongst the enemies. But it was a very long time ago. It is no longer practised because it goes against the law in Malaysia. And, Bidayuh tribe does not practice cannibalism. Head hunters and cannibalism are two very different things. I respect the sheikh, but I cannot just accept things that is against my own fellow countrymen. We Malaysians have high respect for our Bidayuh friends and they are very kind people.

Not all in Sarawak are Bidayuh? Most Bidayuh are Muslims already.
The Iban were once headhunters, and they still pride themselves of that historical past. Christian evangelists were active in the Iban communities.

...but I do know many reverts who were given hidaya, signs years before they became Muslim. I should know as I'm one of them. I was Catholic, a young wife and mother. Every evening there would be rosaries led by my mother in law. Wallahi there came a day when Allah( swt) made me dumb everyrime the rosary circle came to me and the " prayer" would be, (astaghfirULLAH)..." holy Mary mother of god..." (astaghfirullah la adhim), I just could NOT say it!!!....I had dreams of places in Macca( I did not know anything about Macca or where it was) until a Muslim lady, years later, showed me pictures of place she went to during her Haj. I asked her, where this was, she explained. I though it was India and the Taj Mahal. I did what most reverts will tell you they did. I locked myself in my room and said, " God, my creator, I will not go to church or pray until you show me how YOU want me to worship YOU....and HE did!...I took my shahada soon afyer that, alhamduLILLAH 34 years later... ashhadu an LA ILLAHA ilaLAH wa ashhaddu anna Mohhamadan rasuluLAH. But you know what made me firm on my path of Islam inspite of all those questions? Reading The Quran with understanding and the realization that Quran CAN NOT BE A WORK OF BEINGS!
