Very beautifully designed and crafted! Well done sir.
Thank you very much!!!
chuckled listening to your family in the background.
Yes, sometimes they scream so loud that I have to stop recording... Thank you so much for watching and leaving comments, best regards!!!
Very nice!
Thank you very much!!!
Like the video, the camera has been well used!
Thank you very much!!
Quite a difficult project. It came out really nice. Are you going to oil it? I remember in the video of you making the first cover how hard a time you had with the angled sewing on the bottom. Looks like you have that all figured out now. Still quite a fussy job I'm sure. Thanks for another great video!
Thank you very much!!! again!!! I might not going to oil this one!!! yes, seems I have just begun to get the hang of it!!! hopefully!!!
Did you apply water mouling/forming to make the shape of body
Thanks for sharing these videos, they are indeed an inspiration for these of us interested in leather art. Is the original drawing of this cover available in PDF format on request?
Thank you, and I am sorry that there is no pattern in PDF nor other format.
May I know what sort of material did you use for the black base in 2:55?
Feel like making one half case for my camera as well after watching this..
That was just a piece of thicker leather, nothing special, the idea was to make the bottom thicker!!!😄😄😄
hello, what is the black thing you stick with the bottom part? is that also a leather? what kind of leather? thanks
Thank you very much!!! it was just a thicker piece of cowhide!!!
Awesome to watch! What was the approximate total time to make this?
Thank you very much!!! I didn't count, but it took a few days to make it!!!!
Hi! This is a nice project!
How thick is rhe leather that you are using?
Another question: what's the name of this leather or the kind of this leather?
With these informations it would be easier for us to find the right leather in our countries to buy.
Thank you very much!!! its about 1.8 to 2mm thick, vegetable tanned cow leather, original color!!!
garyipip Thank you very much for answer me.
Hi,
Any chance to purchase one?
Really like the craftmanship so if the price is right we can talk:)
Thank you very much!!! I am doing this for a hobby as of this moment!
however, if you have the same camera, I can sell this one to you!!!
GOSTARIA DE RECEBER O MOLDE EM PDF
hi! great work! can i ask what kind of leather you use? and what thickness and weight?
Hello, that was vegetable tanned cow hide, approximately 1.2mm thick, thank you😁😁😁
@@garyipip thanks so much! I'm planning on working on a similar project. do you have a recommendation for the chisel and thread size?
@@derekhackert4585 since this is a relatively smaller item, I would suggest use smaller chisel along with thinner threads, the outcome will be more delicate.
@@garyipip thanks for all your help! :)
@@derekhackert4585 happy stitching 😁
