Thank you for posting this. I always greatly enjoy watching your videos.
Thank you very much!!!
Thanks for the movie! Now I have ideas on how to make a case for my Sprocket Rocket :D
Thank you very much!!!
Thank for this video. I always looking forward for your new videos, because they have so much informatiion and detailed shots. You are real a leather craftman !
Thank you very much!!!
Excellent, well done! You have golden hands!
Thank you so much 😀
Amazing,
Thank you!
Nicely done. Thank you,
Thank you very much!!!
Always a pleasant surprise when you put up another video.
Thank you very much!!!
If you can get dummy rounds for your Model 10 replica, a drop pouch or belt slide with loops might be another old-school holster related project. Was rewatching one of the holster vids and thought of it.
Thanks again, that's actually a very good idea!!!
I love watching your videos, I always get new ideas of how to make stuff. I had no idea how you were going to stitch the bottom! As always, great work.
Thank you very much!!!
As usual, your work is a pleasure to watch.
Thanks again!!!
This is amazing, thank you! :)
This is fascinating! Thanks for sharing!
Awesome. Thanks.
Just curious why did you change your mind about the design? I see you omitted the little tabs on the top in the final product. I like the result, nice job!
Thank you very much!!! I knew I can't get away with it!!! There are always people who pay careful attention to details!!! The fact is I screwed up the length, it wasn't long enough to go around the strap lug to reach back to the case body, so I had to change the design!!! Best regards.
Fabulous!!!
Thank you very much!!!
Hello! Do you make orders for sale? I would like to have one of these, unfortunately I am very clumsy with the needle. Thank you!
Just found this channel. I recently started streaming on twitch my leatherwork stuff, and I'm having a hard time coming up with different things to make, hopefully I can get some ideas. Subscribed.
Thank you very much!!!
Neat. That’s a trigger wind canon, how does the film advance work?
Thanks, it’s working flawlessly😁😁😁
@@garyipip then, did you cut a slot in the bottom afterwards? The case looks great, but it does make some compromises in operating the camera as a camera.
So you just use to advance winder on the top instead of the advance trigger?
yes... thanks!
Thank you for video!) but how i can get pattern?? :)
very nice!
Thank you very much!!!
Would it be simpler to mark the distance and start the stitching holes while the piece is flat? I'm new at hand stitching and am curious. Thank you for your videos, I learn a lot about patterning and construction from them!!
Thank you very much!!! yes, I believe you can do that too, as long as it gets the job done!!!
@garygrip
Would it be possible to make the other half that covers the rest of the camera? What measures did you take in order to make the design?
Beautifull..
Thank you very much!!!
Hi would you please let me know what is the name of hole punching tool at 3:46. I have to make alteration (only about 4cm) to my camera half case. Thank you.
That's an stitching awl!!! happy stitching!!!
@@garyipip Thank you for your reply
Hi,may i know what kind of leather you are using? its so thick and hard. thanks
About 2mm thick vegetable tanned cow leather, thanks for watching!!!
@@garyipip Thanks
Here's a tip, I save my Popsicle sticks for spreading glue and throw them away when done gluing, no cleaning a spreader tool with solvent.
Thank you very much!!! That's very good tip!!!
Very nice job ! Btw, how thick is the leather? I can only finds 2mm the thickest for sale on line. Can you recommends me where i can buy such thick leather, thank you very much.
Thank you!!! It was vegetable tanned cow leather!!! approx. 2.5mm thick!!! I bought the leather from local shop in Hong Kong, I am sorry I have no idea where to get the leather online!!!
@@garyipip Thank You 😄
Amazing job. Well done Sir! Q: the width you marked with your deviders, is that the same as the thickness of the bottom?
Thank you very much!!! The thickness of the bottom was about 8mm, I've marked the the line with about 6mm from the edge so that there were some leeway for the stitching holes!!!
Love It!
Thank you very much!!!
Can't it drop without locking device?
How did you figure out the templates for cutting these out and making it?? great stuff!
Thank you very much!!! I simply laid a piece of paper on the surface of the camera, and did the measurements and markings bit by bit, then the rest were pretty straight forwards. Best regards.
hello, what kind of leather did you use here? thanks
vegetable tanned cow leather!!!
Can i have the template? I this camera too
burnish the edges
Hello, I would like to buy the leather sling bag pattern off of you please.
love your leather working but your gluing technique needs much work, never seen so much mess with glue. burnishing your edges would look good too
Thank you very much!!! Yes, I admit that I was being sloppy with a few processes!!! plus that piece of glue was probably expired for a while which was a mess to work with!!!
Hey Gary,
Where have you been hiding!
WTF this camera has a rapid winder on the bottom and you blocked it with the case. Maybe the hipsters that ar drooling over your video don't know this but who are you kidding?
Now it's ready for another 50 yrs of service...
Thank you very much!!!
Imagine completing the case, and it didn't fit the camera 😨😱
Pretty rough!
