Beautifully done! I notice that in the camera case is a pocket for some sort of film loading helper..I have a Canon case which seems to have the same flat sheet as the Leica. I have never used it, but it would be interesting to see how it's used and I think you may well know! Thank you again for your interesting videos.
The pocket is a protection form press by button on the back. There is a hard plastic card board in it, and it is a steel card in case of early type. thanks your message.

Hi, but how are you to use it to get the film sitting right? Just push it down behind the shutter curtains and then push the film down, I guess?
We don't use a card board to insert film.
Cutting the film edge is the best way to set film.
Look the picture on the back of bottom plate please.

Anyone know how I can remove the camera from the lower screw mount that's attaches the camera to the leather case?
Can not you remove the camera from the leather case?
Try again after dropping some machine oil through the gap.

さっそくカメラケース底部の補修とネジの洗浄を試みているのですが、どうもネジが外れません。宜しければネジの外し方を教えて頂けますか？

一般のケースでは、
底の内側のフェルトをはがすと、下が厚紙のような素材になっていますが、
マイナスドライバーなどで、その厚紙を持ち上げるとネジのストッパーが見えますので、それをずらして外します。
時代によってはストッパーがカシメになっているのがあり、カシメのときは、外したあと再固定するのが困難です。
