Hope it helps my suspicion is your not fully raising a burr but if something is still off let me know and we can FaceTime and look for other answers. One other problem I’m not sure if I mentioned it but once in a blue moon it’s a crap knife with cheap steel so if it’s working for all other knives but not one try a high angle on the knife it may be cheap and can’t handle 17 degrees

Another great & informative video. Question, under what circumstances would you start that sharpening process at less than 120 grit. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

For big repairs on thicker knives or thinning knives or big chips I might use a P80 or P50 Cubitron Belt

I see you got a magnet cube next to the Toolcker one by 30 on its own just placed there. Which tells me periodically you’ll screw in a light that has a male portion at the bottom of the lamp am I correct? If so, what light are you using? That doesn’t have the magnet attached to it?

Thats where using a sharpie and a digital microscope can help. If you look under the scope you will clearly see if all the black sharpie is gone or if there is a bit of old edge still there that has not been removed yet. I have some videos on using the scopes it's very helpful if you don't have great feeling in you hards to feel a burr. I will try and do an updated one soon and I will look for it now and post the link
