Because no matter what your personal opinions or beliefs are you are not there for your ability to be clever or give your thoughts about anything (unless obviously you’re asked)
Your one and only requirement is to turn up on time and be clean and presentable and do everything you are asked to do with as little fuss or drama. Take direction from whatever photographer you are working with on a shoot, and make the clothes look as great on you as possible while you walk up and down the runway. That’s IT!!!
And I’m telling you, every single person employed for each specific job (hair, makeup, dresser etc etc) usually all have THE biggest egos imaginable, so the very last thing you want to do is become ‘noticeable’ to ANYONE there, unless it’s because you have done your best to become whatever the client (the person who is paying for the advert or show) has in their mind that they want!!
Mouthing off to someone, ESPECIALLY someone like Naomi, is literally the WORST thing you could ever do!! Nobody is going to give you a round of applause or speak up to defend you, TRUST me!!!!
Even when you KNOW whoever is telling you something that you KNOW is ridiculous or wrong, the rule is that you KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!!! Don’t be too friendly or chatty. Be polite and respectful and do what you’re told. That’s IT!!
And it’s an extremely small world where everyone knows each other, and all it takes is ONE outburst and you might as well go down the temp agency and start looking for secretarial work, because ain’t NOBODY gonna be calling your agency to book you!!
You are basically a mannequin. There to be pushed, pulled, shouted at, ignored, and that kind of crap!!
I know Naomi very well and have done since she was a little kid, and Kate too. And until you’re in their league (which is virtually impossible) that’s what it’s all about. They had to do exactly what I just laid out too, and they did it so well that they became who they are. I can assure you that you would never have seen either of those girls opening their mouths to answer back, to ANYONE…they wanted to MAKE it!!
And all of that is exactly why I only did a few shows in Paris, New York, Tokyo, London etc etc, and only for the huge designers, and even then after my last starring role show in Paris for Gaultier I vowed I would NEVER do it again, and I haven’t!! VILE job!!!!
I hope everyone realises that Naomi is doing all that to make good tv. These types of "reality" shows need drama. Naomi is doing her job and, let's be real, so is Nicole.

I'll never forget the time I was travelling in London and went to Camden Town at the height of the supermodel era in the 90s and this what can only be described as Goddess walked past me, with no make up whatsoever and she just had this magical quality about her. I didn't actually realise it was Naomi until I read in the papers that she was there that day, I just remembered someone so striking, she is truly spectacular not only on camera but even better in real life without a scrap of make up.

Naomi didn’t bully Tyra… Tyra had an entitlement American complex because she was light skin she thought she would be more bigger than Naomi… all the old supermodels and designers Naomi has worked with love her and consider her family. While Tyra has hardly got one person in the industry who can say anything positive about her. Her privileged American ass thought she was better while Naomi actually put in work to build relationships and do the work. The bullying was in Tyra’s head in fact we saw the interview with her and Naomi and we all know who the real bully was
