I once took on 14 of those - and won. But it didn't quite felt like a victory later on in the evening. But hey, I'm not a competitive eater, just an ordinary semi-fat familyman :-/

I can never judge what's feasible and what's difficult for a challenge. Watched you do a load of crazy challenges and meals, but wouldn't have guessed that this one was comparatively so difficult.
Its basically all bread. Not even good bread. That much bread would be a huge challenge to eat.
Me and pal attempted and McDonald’s double cheeseburger challenge I got 9 down and was felt sick of hours he did 11 and actually was sick, so I can understand how fucking hard this challenge is, I salute you beard 🙏🏼

Late to the channel but fascinated watching some if the challenges, what's more amazing to me is how you're so healthy looking, I can only imagine massive effort in between.
Fair play to you, it's fun and making me hungry! Is there a reason why you eat all of one food type item before moving on to another rather than mixing up flavours?
I work at McDonald's. Those orders are always fun. We try our best to get out the orders to the customers as fast as we can. ☺

Here in the states , you would be denied window service and told to come in to make such a large order and to call ahead next time, as drive throughs are for small orders. but maybe it's not busy where you all are at.

Exactly...I just watched a different video where a guy was eating a ton of beef brisket and complaining about how dry it was, all while a perfectly good bottle of BBQ sauce sit just inches away. Come on, people.
Have never heard him say this but I think he deliberately avoids the sauce, not because he doesn't like it but because he's quite a health & fitness bufty and sees the sauce as a lot of extra unnecessary calories.

Great video Beard. Hamburgers are originally German from Hamburg. They never used the buns. Hot-dogs are from Frankfurt, hence Frankfurters. German sausages and burgers are a million times better. Keep up the good work my friend.

Just want to say cheers for not only the awesome videos as always, but mainly because I was always scared of eating food and gaining weight. I used to eat like 1400 calories max EVERYDAY as well as training, I've been following you for quite a long time now, and due to this I overcame this weird eating disorder I had. I'm now eating at least double that most days, learn't to calorie control and actually dropped more body fat then my old "starving" method.. and I get to enjoy more food. Thanks Beard, much love!

You need to try a 25 mcg@ngb@ng challenge. A mc g@ngb@ng is a chicken sandwich and a double cheese burger with a few fries put between each patty.
This is a great capacity benchmark challenge. Well done! I think I can probably do maybe 5. You crushed it.
I heard the buns have a lot of sugar so that's maybe why you felt light headed. Good effort! I know McDonalds burgers can be really dry sometimes, you did well! It's most likely because the meat they used had been sitting in the warmers for a while and dried out. If it comes straight off the broiler (or McDonalds equiv, I worked at Hungry Jacks (called burger king everywhere except QLD, Australia)) it's just dripping with oil and tastes awesome.
If you ever come to Australia there aren't any good places I can recommend off the top of my head to try - would you be planning to come here any time in the future?
When I was 19 (many Moons ago) I ordered 10 cheeseburgers from McDonalds. I remember the cashier needing the manager to authorize it with a key into the register. I managed to eat 7. 7! I'm still proud of that!!

Some burger documentary I watched stated that hamburgers started as a style of ground beef steaks in Russia, became popular in Hamburg and German immigrants brought it over to the US and it was served as Hamburg steaks. Then it was introduced in a fair it was noted that other things were more convenient (hotdogs are in a bun, ice cream on a cone, etc) so they threw the hamburg steak in buns and that turned into the hamburger.

It came from the hamberg steak that is believed to be from Hamburg Germany. It came to America and cooks found another way to cook the meat. It's always been beef in the burger.

Humburgers were first created at a fair in Hamburg New York. There was a vendor that ran out of pork for their hot sandwiches, so they used beef instead.

Late on the boat, and I'm sure a few have said it. But Hamburgers originated in Hamburg, before making their way to America! But the basic idea between it all was, that it was accessible to all classes. It wasn't until America, that the "patty" got slapped between two baps. There's actually a good show about Burgers on RUclips, from the same folk that do Hot Ones. The Burger Show. Sparks the imagination I know lol. But it's worth checking out. I'm fascinated with the Cuban burger.
